This is a very cute book. Children will love the illustrations of the dogs! I suggest listening to the song with it or beforehand, as it could be redundant without the tune. This would be good for a classroom!

Awh what a heartwarming and cute book! I'm not familiar with the song, but my daughter and I really enjoyed this book (she's 5). It perfectly describes how a dog must feel about their owners and it was beautifully illustrated too! Would definitely recommend book, it's a lovely story.

This book was very cute, especially with the illustrations. This is what I imagine goes through my cats' minds when I leave for work, vacation, or even a small trip to the store. A line I will never stop using is, "A pet is a part of your life, but you are their entire world". I would have loved it to be just a little bit longer!

Excellent book for a child and their dog. Beautiful pictures with a simple poem (song). Children could read this book to their dog at bedtime or would make an excellent introduction into poetry for a child.

These illustrations were so beautiful. We have two dogs and my toddler kept saying "Lily does that!" or "Lucy does that too!" It was fun watching him make that connection and also let me explain why sometimes the dogs get a little too close when we get home. They just wanted to be with us and missed us!

For all families that treat their dogs as another sibling/child- this is the perfect children's book for you. We have a beloved poodle, and while I was reading this book I was tearing up. It perfectly summarizes how loving a dog is and how happy they are when they are with us. The colors and illustrations in the book are beautiful, and it's a wonderful story. Would definitely recommend for anyone that loves dogs!!!

What a sweet story book for little ones! The book is about the relationship between a dog and its family and how all it wants is to be with them. The pictures are from the view of dogs moving through their day with their family and are charming and colourful. The words are simple and rhythmic, appropriate for young children. I will definitely be sharing this with my daughter.

"To Be With You" by Dave Gunning is pure joy and so sweet. This picture book, and let's be honest, a poem, about that unconditional love that dogs give us is a delight. Meaghan Smith's artwork is beautiful! I love that so many dog breeds are represented and depicted incredibly sweetly.
Having been lucky enough to share my life with two dogs over the years was why I wanted to read this. It will be a book I gift to friends and family who love and even own dogs. I'm so glad I requested to read/review this book. Thank you for the opportunity!

The book shows a handful of different types of dogs and how all they want is to be near their human companion. The illustrations are the most beautiful part of this book - so warm and tender.
The book is simple but heartwarming and is bound to be one any dog lover will enjoy (like myself). As soon as I read this, I went and cuddled my dog for the longest time.
Dogs are our most loyal and loving companions, and this book is a nod to them and all the love and happiness they bring us.
