Description

Isabel Leon, the star of a survival reality show, thinks she can endure anything. But when she unwittingly gives an unscrupulous mogul a chance to profit from her murder, she becomes the target of a terrifying killer who makes nature seem tame by comparison.

At first left for dead, she is rescued by a medical research team that operates outside the law.  She awakens to find she's the living proof of a breakthrough that can change the world. Some people would pay any price to control it. Others would simply steal the secret--even if it costs Isabel's life. As powerful rivals pursue her, Isabel must risk everything to protect those she loves--or die again tomorrow.

Die Again Tomorrow held me captive me from the opening chapter—in which a murdered woman is subjected to a secret medical procedure that brings her back to life. From there the story takes off like a rocket, full of surprises, fascinating science, and vivid characters. If you enjoy the medical thrillers of Crichton and Cook, this book is for you. I can’t recommend it highly enough.”—Douglas Preston

"Die Again Tomorrow " by Kira Peikoff is an interesting medical thriller. The plot is based around the idea that a drug has been invented that allows people to be brought back from the dead, thus revolutionizing the practice of emergency medicine. Instead of falling into the currently common theme of "parapsychological consequences of bring someone back from the dead" (e.g. demons, zombies, etc.), Kira Peikoff explores the ethics, economics, and political implications of such a drug. The storyline is well researched and quite engrossing. The secondary storyline about the practice of life settlement brokerage (paying out against a life insurance policy) provides excellent mystery, threat, and another captivating exploration of the consequences of such a practice. "Die again tomorrow" is well worth reading, and made me quite interested in reading more of this fine author's work.

This is the first book by this author I've read, and I must say it wasn't what I expected. I'm more into "normal" crime and guts fiction, and this was a pleasant surprise. There's a whole new genre of futuristic crime fiction popping up, and this ticks all the right boxes. It was written fast paced, gripped you at the throat from the start and left you wondering.... what if it was possible to die today. Be able to die again tomorrow..... First book by this author I've read, but it won't be the last!!! Highly recommended!!!!
