This story was so unique..I mean, a sentient ship?!

The Touchstone was such a fun environment and I loved every moment spent with the crew.

Ship of Spells had super fast paced plot but sloooow burn romance which is my favorite.
Although, as much as I loved the romance, I really enjoyed how she developed friendships with others too!

The edges are just stunning on the finished copy and I’m definitely going to need that on my shelf!

This is such a fun book! I was immediately drawn in by the concept of a sentient ship and it didn't disappoint. This book has a good mix of action, adventure, humor and romance. The world building is unique and the story is very intriguing. I really enjoyed all of the banter too. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. I definitely recommend this book!

🌶️ - the angst 🥹
First off, Thank you to the Entangled Insiders Reading Room for the gifted digital ARC! And to the @entangled_publishing and @redtowerbooks PR team for the #gifted PR ARC box. Both I sobbed over. 😂😭

This one was packed full of twists made even more fun by live discussions with the author and with the insiders community. We dug into fun facts and in-depth analysis. 🚢

Every time I thought I understood this book, immediately a plot twist. Over and over and I ate it up. Adding all the burning agony of such a slow build romance and the fact H. Leighton managed to get us emotionally attached to a “Trauma Momma Tree,” let’s just say I need the second one like right NOW! 🩵

Ahoy! Shiver me timbers! what a lovely read this was! I feel so lucky I was able to get an earc of this book!
I don’t think I’ve read a pirate book like this before and I’m completely obsessed with it. I was addicted to this book, the magic, the wonderful pirate crew, the fast paced adventure, the heart racing battles and the ship itself?! Made this book everything I loved and needed.
The world building was so unique and vivid. The ship being how it is was such a fun part of the book.
I am fully invested into this book and absolutely cannot wait to see what the next book will bring. I loved all the characters but echo was definitely my favorite. The relationship between our FMC & our MMC was everything I look for in a Romantasy it was a painful slow burn with yearning that made my heart burst.
I cannot wait for book 2 and will painfully be waiting until then! Dickson you now have a lifelong fan because this book was everything to me!
If you're looking for the perfect book to sail the high seas with and fall in love with a scallywag crew then this is definitely the treasure you seek. Get ready to feel the deck under your feet, walk the plank, and plunge into a magnificent new adventure.
