Description

Rowan Callahan is a career-climbing slut. At least according to the vicious-and false-rumor that is destroying her professional life. But a little thing like her career as an attorney ceases to matter when a plane crashes in downtown Chicago and the entire city goes dark. Her unconventional upbringing makes her suspect the worst: she's just witnessed the kick-off to the apocalypse. Armed with a backpack of supplies, she leaves Chicago, intent on resetting her skewed priorities and seeking shelter at the family farm with her father and sister. She's injured and running for her life when she stumbles directly in the crosshairs of two men who just might be her salvation . . . and her greatest temptation.

Graham Buchanan and Zachariah Sawyer are best friends and brothers-in-arms who have been indulging in ménages since before their Force Recon team served in Iraq and Afghanistan. They've hung up their uniforms to build a new life for themselves and their team at Castle Creek Whitetail Ranch-a rustic deer hunting preserve that covertly doubles as a doomsday prepper's paradise. They thought they were prepared for anything until Rowan comes crashing into their lives. Graham and Zach are convinced she's the one woman who can handle them both, but she has no intention of deviating from her carefully laid plans for longer than it takes her to recover from her injuries. So they propose a deal: they'll provide her an armed escort home, and in exchange, she's theirs until they part ways.

It was the perfect plan; except once they've had her, they can't let her go . . .

Rowan Callahan is a career-climbing slut. At least according to the vicious-and false-rumor that is destroying her professional life. But a little thing like her career as an attorney ceases to...

I read this as soon as it came out. I loved it. can't wait for part 2

I read the description of this book and immediately one clicked. Super hot sexy scenes and a pulse pounding apocalyptic setting make this book stand out as one of my favorites of 2014.

Pretty cool. I'm a fan of Meghan March, and am open to reading about whatever kind of alternative lifestyle floats your boat - so this was a fun read. I particularly liked that there was an actual plot - something to move the scenes along. Other menage books I've read tend to lean toooooo heavily on the sex scenes, and end up some sort of porny style how-to with a Twister feel. This had depth and character development, as well as a relationship that you could see bloom and grow... x2.
My only problem with the book was that in a community of less than a dozen people, Ro had roughly zero interest in the woman who was basically brutalized infront of her and brought into her fold. No reaching out, no empathy, actually not addressing Lia at all. Seemed self absorbed.
Also, you could see the "whose baby is this" from a mile away - but I suppose its a topic to be addressed with threesome books. Trite, but ok. Mia needed to happen to pull them all back together in order for everyone to get their happily-ever-after. Using babies as a means to an end seems lazy.
Cleverly written, good characters and an interesting vision. I enjoyed!

Flash Bang is phenomenally brilliant and insanely outstanding! It is a breathtakingly creative take on an otherwise bland and sometimes overdone genre. I can honestly say that I have officially lost my mind and my heart to these incredible amazing characters. I had no idea what I was walking into, but without a doubt I never want to walk away from this intensely surreal and achingly raw journey of some of the most inspiring characters I have ever met.

Rowan was convinced that her world was ending. Her career which she spent a large part of her life pursuing was just about officially over rendering her time and life nearly wasted and worthless. What she didn’t know was her trouble was only just beginning and this was the easiest and most painless part. Her nightmare continues to get darker until she finds herself behind the walls of a most unexpected sanctuary. Just as she is trying to get a handle on her current situation and figure out what to do next, she finds herself confronted with a most unusual yet undeniably tempting offer. Zach and Graham aren’t sure what to do when Rowan unwittingly stumbles upon their home, but they definitely have no plans on sending her away after they find out what all she has been through. Protection and help they can readily offer, but when it comes to their heart, they aren’t sure if they can go that far. Will Rowan allow herself to embrace what her heart desperately wants, or will her fears cause her to walk away from a future that she is too terrified to want?

My book world will never be the same again, and the three reasons for that are named Rowan, Zach, and Graham. These characters truly rocked my world. Without hesitation, I can honestly say that they have been added to my short list of all-time favorite characters. They are nothing short of out-of-this-world spectacular! Their struggles are gut-wrenchingly real, their love is unquestionable honest, and their determination is beautifully passionate.

Without a doubt Meghan March is officially a literary power house in my eyes. While I knew that she could easily hold her own in the ranks of the most popular romance authors, Flash Bang in my humble opinion raises her into the realms of the likes of Anne Rice and Stephen King. Very few authors can actively engage all aspects of my head, heart, and soul while reading a story like March is able to do with such seemingly little effort. What sets her apart is that whenever I read one of her stories, I feel like I am truly experiencing something that is precious and timeless instead of just ingesting a grouping of words that spread out over many pages. Her books hold within it more heart and soul than I could ever express with words in order to do it any type of justice. This is just something that you need to experience for yourself.

An interesting story. Hot in all the right place. Good story.

An apocalyptic erotic m/m/f menage, let the games begin! I thoroughly enjoyed this offering from Meghan March, however you need to be aware that it ends on a cliffhanger. The author writes with humor and plenty of passion. The characters are vividly drawn and I thought they had actual chemistry. No zombies here, just a well crafted story, witty sharp dialogue and lots of sex.

Even though I usually don't read sci fi books I decided to take a chance with this one and I'm glad I did! Great scorching read filled with drama, romance, fear, tragedy and love

This book has a very interesting storyline as well as the hot sex scenes. The author did a great job with the details. I was able to visualize what it might be like to have a total blackout. Ro is so lucky that both Graham and Zack want to worship her. Graham has some abandonment issues they have to work through first to make it work. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I have to admit I have a massive weakness for dystopian/end of world scenarios. In this, it opens with some type electromagnetic pulse killing off all electronics. Rowan, a lawyer, grew up with a doomsday scenario father, so she is prepared with a backpack of supplies. She sees what is going to happen immediately due to her father's continued warnings, and sets out on foot to make her way home to her father and sister, and the fortifications they already had in place at home. On her way though, she has some trouble and ends up in another doomsday compound filled with ex-miliary, including Zach and Graham. Those two are buddies who like to share but have never found their permanent woman, and they decide Rowan is that person and they are keeping her, despite her protests at first.

This book was a rocky start honestly. It is super fast paced and lacked depth despite the interesting setup. It was definitely insta-love/lust. By the midpoint or so though, it evened out and I loved the second half. It gained some more depth in the main characters that was believable in the world setup. The epilogue ends with a cliffhanger, not for the main triad but for the series, so I find that perfectly okay as a reader.

I loved the secondary characters, and the next book has a different menage group setup. I can't wait to continue on with the world set up in this start of a series.

My thanks to the publisher via Netgalley for the complimentary copy to read and formulate an honest review. _________ Review posted at Goodreads and Amazon 8/4/15

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review courtesy of author Megan March.

I THROUGHLY ENJOYED this book and would definitely it. This book is fast paced and interesting plus sexy as hell. Can not wait for more books in this series with the rest of the hot Marine's on this ranch.

I have read Ms Marchs Beneath series and absolutely loved those books. So when I saw this, the plot interested me even tho my blog partner thinks I'm crazy, but I love books like this. The ones that have an apocalypse related theme, minus Zombies, but including hot ex military men? I mean, what's not to love, right? I liked the quick pace of the book and the POVs of the three main characters. Overall, I gave it 4 stars and am looking forward to more in this series.

Wow, why had I not heard about this book before now? Meghan March is one of my favorite authors, but I had no clue she had a book out before the Beneath Series came about! I love reading about menages, but am generally turned off by post apocalyptic type books. Don't let that get in the way of Flash Bang! I absolutely loved this book! The sexual tension, the threesome, the sex... Hot hot hot! I cannot wait to dig into Hard Charger, a novella companion to Flash Bang! I have a feeling it's going to be just as hot! If there's one thing Meghan knows how to do and do well it's write a good sex scene, this book was no exception! Go read it!

In what appears to be the start of a series—quite a relief considering I usually end up joining them in progress—a young professional in Chicago has her work life destroyed, only to be followed by a plane crash and EMP attack that have her leaving the city for her family’s farm up north. Attacked by rednecks—apparently they exist everywhere—she’s saved by former Marine Corps Recon guys who have their own survivalist-type compound in the woods.
But this isn’t your typical romance, even with the erotica thrown in. The leader of the group and his best friend have a habit of sexually double-teaming a woman, and she’s certainly hot enough to fit the bill. So does she give in to them or continue on her journey to get back to her family? Or both, somehow?
Why are the characters in romance/erotica always so stubbornly stupid? I suppose if they didn’t have such interpersonal conflicts to overcome it would be a much shorter story, but as a former Marine who came so close to qualifying for Recon—flunked scuba—while there’s plenty of guys like this, there’s many more who are not. You don’t get to be in the Special Forces of any branch by being as dumb as the main male character was too many times. Of course it’s not all his fault, as our heroine had to be almost suicidally stubborn as well. I suppose I shouldn’t knock the author for what’s really the genre’s fault, but it’s still irritating enough to make me give it a slightly lower score than otherwise. The writing is well done, the characters more than just stock with interesting backstories, the sex scenes steamy, and there’s plenty of humor, so there’s a lot to like, as long as you don’t expect the protagonists to make sense.

As a fan of gritty and suspenseful reads that keep your heart pumping I was drawn to this post-apocalyptic tale of familial devotion, survival, and a romantic and intensely sexual menage. Add in strong-willed characters and you have a recipe for an entertaining read that you don't want to end.

Rowan is a strong-willed woman who might get bruised but never gets defeated which is important when the whole world plunges into darkness. Trained by her father in the ways of being a prepper she sets off in a prearranged plan to reunite with her family. Along the way she encounters the most dangerous element of all....two sexy ex-military men who want her for themselves. The longer she's with them the less she fears the dangers of the world and the more she fears for her heart. When they reach the end of their agreement will she take the biggest chance of her life or stay true to long-held beliefs and plans? Rowan is the best kind of heroine as she's capable but not bitchy. She can take care of herself but is more than willing to accept help when offered. She's no shrinking violet as she gives as good as she gets both verbally and physically which made her interactions with Graham and Zack immensely entertaining.

Graham and Zack have been friends since their time in the military and have a very strong bond. With the world full of danger they've managed to create a haven on a ranch along with some of their fellow soldiers. It's a place that feels far removed from everything else going on and is the perfect start to forming their relationship with Rowan. Their travels allowed that closeness to intensify in a nice blending of action in and out of the bedroom. I can understand Rowan's attraction to both of them as their differences feed her body, heart, and mind. Graham feels the more mature of the two as he's more serious with shadows of past pain weighing on him. There's an intensity surrounding him with his alpha side coming to the forefront adding to his sexiness. Zack is more lighthearted and carefree with a playful and humorous side. His strength and protectiveness is more than apparent though and with Graham beside him they're a formidable duo. Together they crafted sexual interludes that almost ignited my eReader in scenes that were sensual but playful and emotional too. The dichotomy of the personalities is what drew Rowan to them and helps you believe in their menage.

Though the story starts a bit slowly readers will soon find themselves immersed in it and captivated by the safe haven created by this memorable group of ex-soldiers. Along with strong and sexy main characters comes a cast of secondary characters that have me longing to know more. From Cam to Beau I hope to see more of these HOT men saving other damsels in distress. Though I was caught up in the suspenseful haze of the gritty world that Ms. March crafted I would've liked to have known more about the whys of what happened. I felt that the eroticism was given more importance than the resulting world chaos. When it comes to the menage it was well-written offering an enticing blend of steam and heart with scenes that were varied and nicely paced. The conclusion was fast-paced with lots of action that resulted in a definitive and satisfying HEA but left some threads hanging to compel readers to return. Fans of erotica will find themselves surprisingly entertained by this blend of post-apocalyptic love with compelling characters and heart-pounding action in and out of the bedroom.

Flash Bang is a post-apocalyptic romance from author Meghan March and is the first in a series by the same title. The world as they know it is over and Rowan Callahan makes her way to her family farm in order to be with her father and sister. On the way there, she is rescued by ex-Marines after she suffers injuries while escaping a group seeking to harm her. Two among the former Marines are attracted to her--best friends Graham Buchanan and Zach Sawyer--and the feeling is very much mutual. She agrees to engage in a ménage with them when they inform her that they'll escort her all the way to her father's farm once she's healed up. Soon enough, Ro is ready to go but neither Graham or Zach is ready to let her leave.

Rowan is independent and feisty but being with Graham and Zach calls to her most basic feminine needs and desires and once the three get together, she knows that what she's experienced is due in large part to the two men who want to be with her. This being set post-apocalypse, sex doesn't become that big of a priority but with the three lead characters, it's obvious that it soon becomes more than just about sex. What they have is about love and companionship, as well as having one's trust and respect, in order for that kind of relationship to work. It was easy to understand why it was difficult for Ro to choose between being with her father and sister and being with the two men she's fallen in love with and grown to care for.

What I liked best about the book was that it wasn't focused solely on the sex and the ménage relationship among Ro, Graham, and Zach. Yes, those definitely spiced everything up, but it was interesting to see how the group on the Castle Creek Whitetail Ranch functioned as a cohesive unit and formed a family of their own. They really are like a little community living and working together and the addition of Ro makes for an interesting development in their daily routines. I would definitely like to know more about what brought about the downing of the grid because that would make the amateur conspiracy theorist in me happy. Flash Bang sparked my curiosity and makes me want to read future installments. It gets five stars! ♥

Rowan is one of the lucky ones. Her dad, ever the careful and prepared man, taught both of his daughters what to do should a doomsday occur, and that’s exactly how Ro knew what to do: get her prepared doomsday backpack her dad makes her lug around, and head out of the city. The trek in the woods to her dad’s becomes far more than this woman can handle, and it’s when she’s hurt that she finds her savior. Although, the big brute looks nothing like an angel. Ro’s strong-headed nature and quick wit have gotten her this far, and she’ll be damned if she’s going to let a simple thing like an injury curtail her getting back home, or two very, very handsome men.

Graham finds that threesomes work well for the kind of man he is: closed-off and careful. He and his best friend, Zach, sort of make one whole man when put together, so it’s only natural that when he finds an injured Ro, and realizes he’s attracted to her, he’ll want nothing but to be with her along with Zach. Graham’s bruteness and her strong-willed manner aren’t the easiest of meshable qualities, though, and will prove difficult at times. Zach is a lot more gentler around the edges. He’s caring and warm, and thinks Ro might just be finally what they’ve been searching for.

Meghan March’s writing is always easy to get into. I felt right at home with Ro on the very first page. I loved the doomsday predicament, and how that forces Ro to really truly be the woman she’s always meant to be. In a situation like the one she finds herself in, I’m not sure most people (men and women alike) would be as strong. Ro, at times though, was a little too strong-minded, and I wanted to…persuade (i.e. maybe slap) her to stop being so damn headstrong as sometimes it’s truly okay for the man (or men, in this case) to take over. Overall, an incredibly erotic (oh my word, SO MUCH SO) well-written story that was over way too fast, and I am so greatly looking forward to more of the men on base.

First there was a plane, and then the end came. Flash Bang by Meghan March is set in a post-apocalyptic world. No the world isn't taken over by zombies or aliens. Nope this is much worse than that. No internet! I would not survive without my interwebs. Rowan "Ro" Callahan on the other hand is completely prepared with her go-bag and sets out to join her family after the disaster strikes that sends the world into chaos. On her journey she crosses paths with ex-marines and struggles with her biggest decision yet. Stay with the men she has come to love or continue on her way to reunite with her family.

Flash Bang opens with a breathtaking, adrenaline filled action scene that sets the pace for the rest of the story. Rowan is struggling to stay safe and alive on her journey to father's house. She finds herself in situations that put her survival skills to the test. Ro is fiercely independent, sassy, and strong. She can definitely handle anything that is thrown her way, especially two alpha males determined to make her their own.

Graham and Zach are best friends and survived serving in the military together. They share everything, especially their women. Graham is the dark brooding loner and Zach is the easy going charmer. The two combined together are everything a girl could want in a man. It's no wonder Ro finds them hard to resist.

Overall, Flash Bang was a fun and sexy read. I really enjoyed the fast pace that was driven along by the action in the story. It is jammed-packed with hot alpha male heroes, suspense, tense action scenes, and one tough-as-nails female. Well ok she's not the only female, but she is definitely the most out spoken one for the better part of the book. It did leave me feeling woefully unprepared should disaster strike, since unlike Ro I don't have a survival kit. I really should get me one of those. Don't let the whole end of the world setting, turn you off though. This really is a fast and enjoyable read. If you like your romances sexy hot as in the ménage variety then definitely go read this book.

I love these former military, pure Alpha, gorgeous, muscled men turned doomsday preppers. Graham and Zach were two of these men. Best friends that shared EVERYTHING. Having never thought they'd find "the one", Graham makes all kinds of mistakes just trying to make life easier for Rowan, but ends up being making things more miserable for himself and Zach. Will Rowan leave the ranch? Will Zach pass up the opportunity to be with Rowan forever, even if that means leaving is best friend? What will Graham do?

So much more is happening in this book. I just gave a brief glimpse of a piece of the story. This is actually my first book by this author and I loved it! It's also my first doomsday preppers type of book and I'm hooked! I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Good story, enjoyed the concept and the characters.

The only negative for me was the lack of weapons research when it came to the guns.

Ro may have been prepared for the bugging out thanks to her father, but she was in no way prepared for Graham and Zach. She fall hard for the best friends, but will do anything to get to her family. This leads this trio on a wild adventure. Another hot story from March.

Another fast-paced read. I read Lia's story before this one, so I already had some ideas of what would happened. I enjoyed this story. Definitely erotica, but good.

Seriously Meghan March is my go to author now. I love her writing style and I am always wrapped up in the story, so Flash Bang is no different. I was completely immersed in this world and loved every minute of it!

I agreed to review this book after just seeing the cover. Then I read the synopsis. I thought, oh crap, post-apocalyptic world, double crap. This is really not my thing. I am so glad that I went forward with my commitment. I really loved this story. If this is not your thing, just like I didn't think it was mine, step out of your comfort zone and I think you'll be really glad you did. In this post-apocalyptic world, there was an electromagnetic pulse that destroyed all electronics, so no cars, phones, running water, lights, etc. This is the story of Rowan, who was raised by her ex-military father who had always wanted them to be prepared for this crazy scenario. So, immediately after the EMF event, she heads on her way to the safety of her father's home, in another state. Alone. On foot.

Her journey is not an easy one and this new world is not a safe one, especially for a woman. While running for her life, she runs in to a couple of ex-Marines who end up rescuing her, but sassy Rowan wants none of that. She is not a damsel in distress! She gives Graham and Zach a run for their money and the ensuing story was entertaining, funny, hot, sassy and sweet. There were lots of twists and turns, it was not predictable and kept me wanting more at every turn. I loved the supporting characters and hope to get some more from them in the future. The only part that really sucked for me was that there was a cliff hanger. I really hate cliff hangers, but as far as they go, this one wasn't too bad. I think I'll survive until the next book comes out, but I will be all over that when it does.

Flash Bang is the perfect title for what happens to Rowan Callahan when a complete power grid failure sends the United States into a post-apocalyptic situation. Good thing for Rowan, her father is a doomsday prepper, so she knows exactly what needs to be done in order to survive and head back to her family home. But on her way, that’s when her life takes a new direction, and she finds herself wanting a relationship that she would have never considered before - one that would be considered taboo in modern society, but with what has happened to society, it seems only fitting that people rely on their own desires to find happiness in the chaos that has ensued and that’s exactly what she plans to do - people’s opinions be damned.

I absolutely loved Rowan! She is a kickass heroine who can hold her own in almost any situation. When she arrives on Castle Creek Whitetail Ranch, she has every intention to flee and make it home to her family - the people she has let down far too often in her life - despite the fact that there are two strong and handsome men who stake a claim for her body and her heart.

Zach and Graham are the perfect pair for Rowan because they bring different qualities into their relationship. They are definitely both alpha males and take know how to take control, but they also play off of each other’s personality, enabling both of them to get what they want. Zach is more of a carefree guy than Graham is, which works well because Graham is a bit high strung. But regardless of how quick tempered Graham is, he’s also incredibly protective and yearns to have someone put him first for once in his life.

I love that Meghan March keeps Rowan a snarky, witty, and stubborn woman throughout the story despite her affection for the two alpha males in her life. March has also created a great cast of characters to surround her leading woman and men with and hopefully their stories will be told as well.

It's an interesting setting that this menage story takes place in, and I'm sure it's only going to be more intriguing as the US tries to regroup and seek help from those who can provide it. In a post-apocalyptic environment, rules and regulations are a thing of the past, so as word spreads about the ranch, Graham and is men are going to have to protect their group as well as their land, and it’s not going to end well for some of them.

My new favorite apocalyptic romance.

Flash Bang and Hard Charger were both great reads. Meghan March did an outstanding job of providing love stories taking place in the midst of an apocalypse. Other stores I've read in this sub-genre spent a lot of time detailing the apocalypse itself but these two focused primarily on the characters and the romances they developed.

Flash Bang was filled with a passion that was timeless. Not just between a man and a woman; but a sassy, independent and strong willed woman and two hot and sexy Marines that happen to be the best of friends.

With just a few days in, Rowan finds herself stumbling into a hunting compound run and inhabited by ex-military. Graham and Zach immediately want to claim her and share her and keep her forever.

With these alpha males and the quick wit that oozes from Rowan, I couldn't help but be glues to this story from beginning to end. It was a very well rounded story filled with characters that I couldn't help but love.

4.5 Stars!

Unlike anything I have ever read, this series is a game changer for me. I am so down for a ménage romance so I had no hesitation about signing up to review but little did I know that this book was like no other romance novel out there. The plot is original. The steam is crazy hot. And this author brings it all when she created a world full of sin, steam, suspense, and... darkness.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sexy, suspenseful, passionate, intense, edgy, and full of twists and turns. Sure this was a fast read but I promise that once you start, you will not put it down. The author will captivate you with the flowing storyline. She will grab you with the budding romance. She will dig deep into your soul so much that it will still be with you long after the book is over.

This is Rowan, Zach, and Graham’s story. Rowan has just witnessed the beginning of the apocalypse so she is going to do what she has to do. She is packing up her and heading home to her family. When she stumbles into trouble along the way, she meets two men who will forever change her life. Enter Zach and Graham. They have always shared women but Rowan is a game changer for them. They want her... all of her including her heart. It is not going to be easy for them and hurdles lie ahead. Can Rowan and her guys find love in a world that is slowly crumbling around them?

I highly recommend this book.

Erotic Menage in Dystopian World? HELL YES!

This is what attracted me to this book on NetGalley - because let's face it, Dystopia is considered to be mainly YA sub - genre, rather than an adult genre! Also, my guilty pleasure is Erotic Menage, so sue me! (Please don't, I need money to buy books!)

The story is about Rowan and Graham and Zachariah and the kick start to apocalypse and the wonders it can do for your relationship status ;)

I have to admit I was a little worried about how the author will handle dystopian elements with adult protagonists - but she handled it brilliantly! Meghan has made a whole new world within the walls of the compound wherein Graham and Zachariah now live with their team mates.

Now while the book is brilliantly written, the characters amazing, the plot of the story interesting enough to keep you glued to your iPad into the wee hours of night, the only problem I had was that while this was a Menage, the focus went more on Graham and Rowan with Zach playing a secondary character and that is just not cool! All three of them have issues, but keeping the focus more on Graham and Rowan, kept this book a 4 star rating for me!

Nevertheless, this is a book that I absolutely enjoyed! And Meghan March just became an author that I would definitely love to read more from!

4.5 STARS!
I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak.

This is Rowan, Graham and Zach’s story. After seeing the start of the apocalypse Rowan grabs her gear and sets off to her family’s farm. On the way she stumbles upon two men attacking a woman. When they come after her she gets captured by yet another man. She is now on a compound hurt with a bunch of men who have a ton of supplies. She gets them to rescue the woman and she agrees to stay until after she is healed. She meets both Graham and Zach who have shared woman in the past but she is not into that or is she? Can these two get her to fall for them so she does not leave? As the two men fall for her she knows she still has to leave and go to her family. Can she leave the men behind? Will they come after her and fight for her? Can she get them to understand that she needs to finally put her family first?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

3.5 stars

The story starts with a plane crash in downtown Chicago causing the entire city to go black. Rowan Callahan sees a potential apocalypse starting and she knows she needs to find her family. Trying to stay off the grid, and raised by a father that taught her to be prepared, she loads up with supplies and heads out on foot to find them.

After getting injured and running from some scary and creepy inbred freaks she runs into Graham and Zack. G and Z are best buds and brothers in arms. They are now living on a ranch that also doubles as a doomsday type facility along with their fellow comrades. I loved that Graham was a bit tortured and Zack was the fun loving guy. Rowan was a pretty strong character but she of course was stubborn and didn’t listen to anyone.

I think the character development suffered a bit because they headed into the sexy times right away. I would have loved to learn more about what was going on in the world around them. I didn’t get why the assumption was made on Rowan’s part that the end of the world was near. I think more info about the doomsday stuff would have helped. The story stays within the super camp and centered on the three. Now the hot scenes were smoking hot but I felt a disconnect somewhere with the three of them so the “in love” feelings came on too fast for me.

I did love all of the side characters and I would love to learn more about Beau. I don’t know what it was about him but he seemed kind of mysterious to me. All said this was a fun read if you love smoking hot sex scenes and alpha males taking charge you will love this.

Thanks Netgalley for a copy to read and review.

Wowser! Ménage anyone? Erotica at its absolute world ending finest! Who needs zombies when you can have two hot as hell men that want to share you? Airplanes drop from the sky after an electromagnetic pulse and suddenly the apocalypse just got real. Rowan has an ex military father and she grabs what she needs to head back to him. She knows if she can make it home then she will be safe! I enjoyed this book and look forward to more in this series!

Will post to Amazon in the next couple of days!

I like books with menage scenes in them, but only if it doesn't escalate into a love triangle. Then, I'm out. I don't do love triangles.

But, luckily, that is not the case here. Thank God.

I have to say, I know Meghan can write some hot scenes but holy mother, these were really hot!

Our heroine, Rowan, is having a pretty bad day when the end of the world starts. It's not zombies or a diseases but different. I wasn't expecting that one, but seems more plausible than zombies, hah.

She's had a certain upbringing, so she's a girl prepared for pretty much anything. With nothing to lose, she's off to her family because in bad times, you have to stick together.

Things don't go as planned and she stumbles upon a resort-turned-hideout, where she meets several ex-military men. Their leader, Graham and his best friend, Zach, are immediately attracted to her and want to make her theirs. Yup, two hot alpha men, one lucky girl.

My fave was Graham. He was the moody one, more intense. I also think that maybe the author favored him, as well.

It was a pretty good story, it had its intense moments, the what-now moments and hot ones. I also held my breath at the end.

I should have read it sooner. 4.5 stars.

I loved this book! It was just what I spam always looking for. The Ménage aspect was perfect. It didn't ever feel like she felt she had to chose one or the other, it was always what was best for them! That ending!!! Amazing!!! I hope there is more to come!!!!

Kindle Friends Forever: Reviewed by Sharon Thérèse Nuttall

What felt like a day of reckoning scenario brought me out of my usual literature choice with a big boom! And I still don't understand why the crash, bang and wallop of a plane could cause such a horrendous cataclysm but I do know that I was riveted to the book from page one. The plot's originality is unquestionable. The character development is impeccable and has literally left me in awe of this author. How she has managed to get across each and every one of her protagonists' traits is quite a work of art; a detail not to be taken lightly.

The heroine in this unusual story with a 'splash damage' feeling; yes, it would make an awesome adult video game, is sassy, independent, stubborn as an ox and well-trained in the aspect of survival. Among other techniques, her ex military father made sure his two daughters knew one end of a gun to the other. There's no-one or nothing keeping her in Chicago where she's lived and worked for the last ten years. Far from it, an experience she would rather forget only made her decision to leave easier. In her late twenties, Rowan knows what she needs to do. Run! Destination—home.

There is only one direction to go though and it's not going to be without its difficulties in an ambience of total and utter catastrophe. Fortunately, when she finds herself in a sticky situation, there just happens to be two guys around to save her. If the story was fast-moving before, now it picks up at a page-flipping speed. Now then, how on earth am I going to be able to put into words how these two ex marines and Ro's relationship progresses without letting on? Better I explain the whys and wherefores of an existence I could never imagine. For the privileged few who are able to protect each other from the outside, at all times, there is hope, companionship and a strict but just leadership will make a ranch turned into a fort, impenetrable. No luxuries exist; however, they are self-sufficient and all members have tasks to do which are carried out without foray. Now that you're in the picture, let's get down to the nitty gritty of this story.

Graham and Zach are best buddies who have served in war-zones together. Both retired from the forces, were moving along nicely only to be thrown into an even bigger conflict. Everything was more or less in control until a certain hot-headed gal turns their life upside down and tests their resolve to the limit. Her name—Rowan. She is dead-set on leaving the best thing that has ever happened to her, them. Why? Because she doesn't want to let two very dear people close to her heart down who she knows are waiting for her. Now they have to convince her that not only can they not accompany her as problems are arising on the outside, but she'll undoubtedly be putting her life in danger.

Graham is a man of few words. He has difficulty explaining his feeling and most of the time, relies on Zach to do the groundwork regarding their amorous affairs. Yes, they share! Despite his attitude, for the first time in his life, he finds someone he can envisage having a future with. I found this a tad peculiar since chaos was prevalent. Nevertheless, nothing like living for the day, especially when you've found what he and Zach had.

Zach is completely the opposite to his mate. He knows how to express himself, is considerate and loving. He loves his brother-in-arms, pulls his ears when called for, and wouldn't do anything to hurt him inadvertently. I say this because you have to read to see that not everything is black and white in this extremely scorching hot novel.

I was surprised to see that this read had no epilogue. I felt that the first chapter would have made a good one; notwithstanding, the epilogue was absolutely marvellous. I'm a sucker for happy endings and it was delivered perfectly. The explicit sex scenes blew my mind to another stratosphere, and as they are so vividly described, I would highly recommend reading the blurb before one-clicking. I was given the opportunity to review this book by NetGalley and am delighted to say that I wouldn't think twice about reading more from this author whose writing skills have been well-demonstrated. Bravo!

Stories about a dystopian or apocalyptic world are not normally ones that I would gravitate to. But when I discovered this author on Facebook and found I really liked her open and funny style, I wanted to see what she had to offer. So when I saw Flash Bang and Hard Charger on NetGalley it was an easy choice to step out of my normal reading genre and I’m glad I did.

I like that more time was spent on developing the story of the couples and not focusing on the redundant details of what an apocalypse would be like for modern society. I loved the heat and the connection between these 2 sets of characters too! I could feel the chemistry coming from the pages. To me that’s the sign of a great story and author!

Flash Bang centers around Rowan, Graham and Zach and how she stumbles upon Castle Creek Whitetail Ranch as she attempts to make it to her fathers property following a life-altering EMP, electromagnetic pulse. There’s an immediate attraction between our strong, determined and stubborn heroine and the 2 leading men. But faced with the knowledge that all she sacrificed and worked for in her career was for nothing she will not let her father down again and feels she must make it home ASAP.

Hard Charger centers around Lia, Cam and Travis and it answers the cliffy that was at the end of book 1 that had my stomach in knots! I feel like the topic of Lia’s treatment at the hands of her captors and the PTSD that she dealt with following her rescue was written with care and respect for such a deep subject matter. Since we saw a lot of these characters in the first book, the second book being a novella and a lot shorter was okay to me. It still felt like a complete read.

4 solid stars on both of these books! I am hooked! There are many characters left that deserve their own story and cannot wait to see what comes in this series!

Megan March a new to me author, that is so on my fav list now. I grabbed the book from Net galley and I’m so glad I did, if its a good read then I’m all about the post apocalyptic theme and I really enjoyed this story. I liked the easy smooth talent that Ms March showed.

Enough detail that you get the point of the story, not too much detail where you are bogged down and it gets boring. Each character was filled out and flowed well with the story.

When all hell breaks loose Rowen is away from her child hood home and is determined to make her way back to her father and her sisters. Her father used to annoy her with all his doomsday talk and preparedness, little did she know it would hit home in a big way. Running from a unbelievable situation, Ro winds up at a well armed, well situation compound. Oh and her snarkiness of course wins all the inhabitants over.... Not. (smiles)

Out on fire watch Graham, spots movement and if he isn’t mistaken its a female. Getting closer he determines she needs his help and goes about giving it to her, which she is so grateful for his help... Not.

Zach being being Grahams bestie, is all about keeping the little spitfire for themselves. Meaning himself, Graham and Rowen... She was all excited about that ... Not.

We have a bit of drama, a bit of damn I want to smack them both, the only one that seemed a sane in the three of them, was Zach. My hand itched to smack both Graham and Rowen, the past, the lack of communication oh lets not forget stubbornness in spades, makes them do everything ok most everything wrong. Sex was good, sex was hot..sex was ... Sex yep grins. All around awesome story wiht awesome charachters both main and secondary. Enjoy

Great sexy read with a little bit of intrigue. I enjoyed the direction this book went and felt the characters were well developed without any holes or lacking info. A bit of a hint that there is more to come and I will definitely be looking for that book.

I'm a fan of Meghan March's Beneath series and I love her writing so I figured I'd give Flash Bang a try even though menage isn't usually something I read. I was pleasantly surprised by this book and how much I enjoyed this post-apocalyptic world. There was so much actual story that I could help but get invested in the lives of Rowan, Graham, and Zach. There was definitely some insta-love going on with those three but it was easy to overlook as things go hot and heavy between the sheets and the story progressed. Overall, Flash Bang was a quick and easy read with plenty of sexy times, but with a interesting story to go along. I'll definitely be reading more of this series.

"Flash Bang," by Meghan March, is the first book in the Flash Bang Series. This book has an unusual premise for a romance but it's very good and very steamy. I enjoyed the characters and am looking forward to the rest of this series.
