Description
“I don’t want to just be anyone to her, I want to be everything.”
Charles Sinclair has been Victoria Belhaven-Wynford's best friend since fifth grade, the one person Tori can tell anything to—except how her stomach knots every time she's with her new boyfriend Valentine. Deep down, Tori knows what she feels for Valentine isn't comparable to her connection with Sinclair. But now her best friend is starring as Romeo alongside classmate Eleanor's Juliet in Dunbridge Academy's annual play, and Tori has been assigned to write their love story for the production.
Since their one kiss years ago, Tori has tried desperately to forget her feelings for Sinclair, convincing herself they're destined to be nothing more than friends. Valentine Ward, rugby captain and unofficial king of their boarding school, seemed like the perfect distraction—until Sinclair's obvious disapproval made everything complicated.
Now, she's trapped crafting the perfect love story for the stage while hiding her true feelings. As Tori writes romantic scenes for her best friend to perform with someone else, the line between fiction and reality begins to blur. How can she pen a love story for Sinclair and Eleanor when she wants nothing more than to be his Juliet?

🎭💔 ANYONE by Sarah Sprinz 💔🎭
A friends-to-lovers, dark academia romance that will absolutely destroy your heart in the most poetic way possible.
Welcome back to Dunbridge Academy, the elite Scottish boarding school where every hallway hides a secret, every glance feels like a confession, and love stories never go as planned.
Tori Belhaven-Wynford and Charles Sinclair have been best friends since childhood having the kind of inseparable bond that everyone around them assumes will turn into something more. But years after a single kiss they’ve both tried to forget, Tori’s dating someone else, and Sinclair’s starring as Romeo in the academy’s annual play... opposite someone who isn’t her.
Now, tasked with writing the school’s big production, Tori must craft the perfect love story but....for him and someone else. Every scene she pens, every line of dialogue, pulls her deeper into the realization she’s been denying for years: She doesn’t want to be just anyone to Sinclair. She wants to be everything.
💫 Expect:
🎭 Friends-to-lovers slow burn
💞 Unspoken longing and emotional angst
📖 Boarding school + dark academia aesthetic

This book is drenched in yearning, the kind that makes your chest ache and your stomach twist. Sarah Sprinz delivers a swoony, heart-wrenching tale about timing, trust, and the courage it takes to finally choose your person.

Love seeing Tori's story come to life in this one. Another rollercoaster of ups and downs but I love how they finally came together.
There’s something so innocent between Tori and SinClair that just makes me want to tuck them away and keep them safe 🥲
I liked how the story revolved around toxic relationships and showed the different impact a toxic relationship has on a person compared to a healthy one. It was interesting to read about Tori, especially since we got so much of her in the first book. We saw how she naturally changed into a more insecure and quiet version of herself once she started dating Val. She began pushing her friends away and distancing herself from the people who cared about her. But with SinClair, she slowly found her way back. She started doing the things she loved without fear and reconnecting with her friends, who made her feel loved and comfortable again.
And don’t even get me started on Tori and SinClair’s relationship because they were the cutest couple. Honestly, even more than Emma and Henry…. and I loved them. You could feel the pain every time they were together, constantly pushing each other away out of fear. That fear nearly became reality as lies piled up, and they kept disappointing each other. Once the lies began, neither one could stop, and the pain just grew, but I was completely invested, waiting for them to finally be together. This book flew by and could easily be read in one sitting. Now I’m just waiting for Olive’s story because that ending definitely has me intrigued.

⭐ ARC review ⭐
4.5 /5 Stars
An emotionally intense, yet sweet, friends-to-lovers romance.
Having thoroughly enjoyed the first installment of the Dunbridge Academy series, I can confidently say that Book Two, was a standout success. Sarah Sprinz consistently writes with profound emotion, and this novel, which focuses on Tori and Sinclair's relationship, truly hit different for me.
My heart ached throughout the story due to the palpable yearning and emotional tension between the two best friends. Sprinz does a beautiful job of capturing the complex feelings involved in wanting to be more than just "anyone" to a special person.
Beyond the sweet romance, I found the book's focus on distinguishing between healthy and unhealthy relationships to be a fascinating and strong thematic element, the family dynamics with alcohol, and I adored the play in the book. Also let's talk about the cliffhanger? My mouth was wide open!
This is a wonderfully easy, sweet, and loving read that I highly recommend.

returning to this world was amazing and I especially enjoyed how sarah writes these characters in such an authentic and realistic way. we see how our fmc gets swept in a toxic relationship just like many young girls and we see her come out of it too and ofcourse the best friends to lovers trope never goes out of style!
omg! just when i thought i couldn’t like tori and sinclair more this book consumed me.
full of finding yourself, coming to terms with feelings, and most importantly falling in love for the first time. this book was a ROLLERCOASTER of emotions. i wanted to shake tori and sinclair multiple times through this story, because UGH PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER!!
We see tori go through so much emotionally, with her dating life, her family, and friends.
we see sinclair go through a lot emotionally through his emotions with tori.
we see a realistic depiction of a toxic relationship, the author handled this topic so good and the characters inner monologues really help the reader feel and see how being in love/a relationship should be like.
THE ENDING CLIFF HANGER! was not ready, need book 3 stat
