I liked the photographs used throughout and the simple, easy to read text. Informational and age appropriate.

This is a straightforward, scientifically accurate non-fiction book with photographs and artistic illustrations to demonstrate the seasons we see on earth, the reason for the seasons, and how earth tilts on its axis and orbits the sun.
At the end of the book, there is a glossary, index, and "thinking" questions. This is a great nonfiction text for striving readers and anyone who is learning to read.
I recommend this book for schools and libraries.

This book is short with just enough information to be educational but not overwhelming. I think this book is great for home and school use. The paragraphs are short and easy to understand. There are also some nice illustrations/photos through the book as well. I loved that it includes a glossary and some additional questions to really make your little reader think!
I received a copy in exchange for my honest review.
Book works well as a "pull-out" lesson from a textbook for young children or a companion book to a lesson about the seasons. Would definitely recommend this to teachers with children studying this aspect of science to drive the point home.
