Description
Siblings Ari and Mo are on a fun family vacation where they see all kinds of different people who don’t look, dress, or live like them. And they have lots of questions.
Join Ari and Mo as they learn the importance of meeting curiosity and confusion with empathy and kindness—and that no matter our differences, we all cry salty tears.
A Note From the Publisher2>
Jaime Testaiuti is a children’s book author and member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators with a background in neuroscience and medicine. She now channels her passion for learning into crafting imaginative stories for young readers.
Her debut book is inspired by her own experiences as a mom to Massimo and Arianna, who remind her daily of the innocence of childhood. She believes kids are less likely to notice the traditional differences they are often being encouraged to recognize, and instead highlights more unique attributes. She maintains a desire to celebrate what unites us —showing that while people may appear different, the qualities that truly matter connect us all.
As a mom in a blended family, she finds endless inspiration in the wonder of childhood. She and her family enjoy traveling, skiing, golfing, game nights, and all things Italian! Whether exploring a new destination or simply gathering around a table for a homemade meal (without electronics!), she embraces the joys of family, culture, and connection.
