Description
A fifty-something divorcee, an aging movie star, and a ruse worthy of a romcom.
Eleanor Marshall is the worst kind of cliché—a fifty-something divorcee thrown over for a younger woman. Her best friend thinks it’s time for a reset, and she has just the thing. She enters Eleanor in a contest to win a dream date in Paris with a real life romcom heartthrob.
Aging actor, Geoffrey Harrison, is struggling to resuscitate his flagging romcom movie career—turns out romantic heroes are only getting younger. So, when his agent cooks up a social media contest, Geoffrey agrees to a romantic dinner with the winner . . . the unexpectedly attractive Eleanor.
When the publicity stunt blows up the internet, Geoffrey talks Eleanor into a ten-day fake romance, complete with handholding, candlelight dinners, and, of course, kissing. It’s like something straight out of one of his movies. And just like in the movies, it isn’t long before their fake romance is anything but. However, before Eleanor can admit her feelings for Geoffrey, her fragile trust is shattered.
Can Geoffrey script a Hollywood ending and win Eleanor back? Or will she deny herself a second chance at her own happily-ever-after?

Aww, this is a dreamy love story! I fell in love with the characters from the very beginning & loved reading their story.
I enjoyed the setting & getting to "visit" some remarkable places in Paris with them.
The writer did a great job - great characters, great dialogue, great settings, great visuals of the tourist spots.... I also loved how Ellie & her ex had a heart to heart & were able to have a healthy discussion about what went wrong & "heal/grow" somewhat from it.
The book was a very quick read with plenty of romantic & steamy scenes. I enjoyed having the book be about some middle aged characters instead of the usual youngsters.
I look forward to reading more books by this author.
Thanks to the author, publisher & Netgalley for the ARC read. All opinions are my own.
Under the Paris Moon is a wonderful second-chance romance that proves love doesn’t have an expiration date. Following Eleanor, a fifty-something divorcee whisked into a faux Parisian affair with a fading movie star, the story unfolds with humor, heart, and authenticity. The slow-burn connection between Eleanor and Geoffrey felt both mature and magical, reminding me that vulnerability and self-rediscovery can bloom at any age. I especially enjoyed how Paris itself became a character—romantic, radiant, and full of hope. It left me smiling long after I turned the last page.
💋 Paris, Pretend Love, and a Whole Lot of Real Feelings! 💋
This book had me laughing, swooning, and shouting “oh là là!”—because sometimes love shows up when you’re least Insta-ready for it!
Love’s still got game—especially under a Paris moon! ✨
Okay, this book totally swept me off my feet! I mean, who doesn’t love a “fake date turns real” setup in PARIS?! Eleanor and Geoffrey are hilarious, awkward, and totally adorable in that grown-up, been-through-some-stuff kind of way. The banter crackles, the kisses sizzle, and Paris? She steals every scene. I was grinning like a fool and secretly rooting for these two to ditch the “pretend” part ASAP. If you’ve ever believed love might’ve passed you by, this story will change your mind—big time. 💋🌙
