I got a chance to read “Angel of Redemption” and was absolutely stunned by the quality of the author’s writing who just pulls you in right from the beginning. I felt like I was embraced by all the characters. I found myself so immersed in the story that I didn’t realize it was 4am in the morning when I finally read the ending. Everything was tied nicely together, but I’ll admit that I never wanted it to end even if the book is about 500 pages (or more).

This story is a romance, but what I really love about this book is that there’s more relationships in the book besides the main characters. You’d think it would get confusing, but it was so well done that everything fits. There are no loop holes or confusion. You knew exactly what was going on.

Kayla works for DHS, helping kids find a safe place to live and making sure that they are being well taken care of. The two kids that were her first case have been having trouble settling down in the foster homes she’s put them in, so as a last minute decision, she places them at the Wyatt House. These two kids just want to be loved, but because of their past it's hard for them to trust. Their new guardians may be able to crack the walls that these boys have built, but Kayla doesn’t know if this will work.

Dean is head of the Wyatt House along with his brother and sister. In the past he was involved in a horrible accident at a young age, but later his lack of self-worth led him to prison a few years later. Now he's trying to work through it to be a better man, but the only thing that's stopping him to reach that goal is himself.

Loved the family dynamic in this one. It was an amazing story and I can’t wait to read more by J.A. Little. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves romance, helping children and finding your place in the world.

Wow, what a wonderful story. This book is so fantastic, it is so well written that is missing nothing. I'm not sure I have the words to express how much I liked this story. I love Dean and Kayla, what a great couple. J.A Little did a fabulous job writing a really interesting story with really great characters, not only the h and H but all the other characters in the story were great. I could not put this story down till I was finished. And best of all she finished with an Epilogue. If your looking for a good story with great characters read this book.

I received an arc from Netgalley for a honest review. thank you

This book was sent to me from Netgalley. There were so many different aspects of this book that I liked. First, this book had both Kayla and Dean's pov. This book was so much more than a love story. It shows what can happen when a person does not think things through and the consequences that occur due to poor decisions. It also shows that bad things can happen to people who come from a good life, not just to those who have a disadvantage in life. With good character development, your heart just goes out to different characters in the book, especially the boys at Wyatt House. The story shows both sides of the foster care system, the social worker and the child's. Kayla is a social worker working for child protective services. Even though saving the world doesn't turn out quite like Kayla pictured, she is not a jaded as a social worker. She really cares about her charges, especially the Davidson brothers, Logan and Matty. Dean works at the Wyatt House as a caretaker who is having a hard time trying to accept his past. Through both Kayla and Dean, the reader gets glimpses of what life has been like for some of the boys in the system. The incident involving Jax and the outcome of it just broke my heart and situations involving both Logan and Matty also broke my heart for them. In the meantime, Kayla and Dean fight their attraction to each other. Kayla feels like it might be a conflict of interest due to two of her charges now living at Wyatt House and Dean feels that he is not worthy of somebody like Kayla due to his past. Kayla is also having to deal with trying to help her sister deal with her overbearing father and their selfish mother. A tragedy at work and circumstances beyond her control with her personal life has Kayla feeling like she is being pulled in so many different directions. Kayla has to make a decision about her life regarding how she can best help those that are in the system. I really liked how the book ended because it gives the reader an insight as to what happened to certain people in the book. If this book is this author's first book, then I am definitely looking forward to reading more books by her as they are published.

Amazing! I love the chemistry between the 2 main characters, as well as the relationship between her and her boys! The story flowed perfectly together and I am seriously hoping that this author writes more books about the side characters from his book. J.A. Little is definitely an author I will be watching to see what she comes out with next!!!

Firstly, thanks to Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this wonderful book. I do not usually read such long books but after the first few pages, I was sure I wanted it to be even longer. So many subjects were touched on in this book and it left me feeling devastated that there is so much wrong done to our young today but on the other hand heartfelt that there are such wonderful people willing to go 110% to try to help them.

Dean and Kayla's relationship shows the reader how much they try in their jobs to give the boys in their care a strong value of not only themselves but other around them.

There were many times I held my breath, hoping nothing was going to be too hard to overcome for the boys at Wyatt House and that they all left when their time came with the feeling of self worth that Wyatt House tried to instill in them.

I am looking forward to reading more from this author and encourage others to pick up this little gem also. Definitely will be re-reading this in the future.

This has just moved into my number one read this fall. The story sucked me in from the beginning and kept me involved right to the end. I switched back and forth between reading it on my kindle and listening to the text-to-speech so I could stay in the moment.

Kayla may be a seasoned social worker but she still genuinely cares for her charges. Dean runs a group home for boys and takes them in as family members. This approach helps make feel more like a home and gives some of the boys hope for the future.
