Quick, twisty, and perfect for a summer reading binge (though I read it with three feet of snow on the ground), Beach Thriller by Jamie Day kept me guessing with every chapter. The seaside setting, messy friendships, and simmering secrets made this one hard to put down. Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the early opportunity to read the ARC!

Beach Thriller was a page turner! This is the perfect book for someone who loves mysteries and thrillers. In Beach Thriller, Holly returns to her family beach house after many years. She has been struggling with her career as an author and is trying to come up with a story to write. While working on that, she gets sidetracked by some new and old friends, some creaks in the attic (a ghost? a critter?) and the memories of her sister, who passed away. With twists and turns at every corner, I was not able to put this book down. 5 stars!

I love Jamie Day! Beach Thriller is a tornado of a tale! Mystery, murder, mayhem in an atmospheric brooding locale! A colorful cast of characters, several red herrings and short chapters make this a propulsive read. A perfect pick for vacay. Beach Thriller would make a killer Netflix series!

This is a fast-paced, addictive read that keeps the tension high from the very first page. With vivid beachside settings, sharp twists, and a steadily building sense of danger, this book is impossible to put down. Jamie Day delivers compelling characters, well-timed suspense, and a plot that constantly keeps you guessing. Perfect for fans of thrillers who love secrets, lies, and shocking reveals-this one is a must read, especially as a beach (or anytime) escape.

What an absolute page-turner! I thought I had it all figured out about half way through, but I was dead wrong. The plot is very twisty and it’s hard to tell which characters are the good guys and which are not. Highly recommended! I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.
