“Lazarus Volume 1” is the story of Forever/Eve. She is a killing machine while not being able to be killed herself. Created by scientists, she believes she is just another child of the Carlyle Family. In truth, she is their defender. Their ultimate weapon. And she is being used and manipulated. Oh, and she isn’t the only one of her kind.
These are the first 4 issues and my introduction to this story. But as always, Greg Rucka knows how to write a great story. I’m waiting to see what happens next. Will she learn the truth of who she is? Will she realize all of the betrayals? Will her “love” story continue? Just like Eve, this story can’t end and I’m all in for the next part.
I received this ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.
