Michael begins settling into his new life and even meets a boy who helps erase the painful memories of his ex. But as the visions grow stronger and more intense, the only person he can really confide in is his new friend Meg.
As Meg delves into the supernatural source of the visions, Michael begins to question whether events of the past are linked to his dad’s disappearance.

A brilliant urban YA fantasy that brings the city of Belfast and its history to life in an imaginative and powerful way. I loved the interplay between the characters and the mix of magic and reality. Stephen Daly seamlessly weaves power struggles with an ancient goddess into the emotional mix of family issues and regular teen concerns, and I look forward to reading more of his work in the future.

A very tense, somewhat dark and compulsively readable story that I have no doubt that my students will be queuing out the door for. (Be aware of trigger warnings though)
