Description
Business consultant Dan Fox’s career is flying high, but his personal life isn’t. The recent split from his girlfriend Emma was hardly amicable, and now odd things are happening – late night phone calls, tampered newspapers… and unpleasant notes. Which can’t be anything to do with Emma.
Can they?
Except they can. Except not in the way Dan was expecting. It’s not Emma, no. Emma, who’s also on the receiving end of harassment. Emma, who clearly has secrets she hasn’t shared with him, including her real career. Secrets she won’t fully share even with Peter Tait, the Manchester Detective Sergeant assigned to unravel the mystery. Can they be the reason all this is happening? What is it that she won’t share with Tait; won’t share or can’t share? And as the threats escalate, what will it take to persuade her that she has to?
And what will that finally reveal?

Enough by Katy Dixon was a gripping, emotionally charged thriller that pulled me in quickly. The tension builds steadily, the stakes feel personal, and the story does a great job exploring obsession, control, and how far someone will go when they’ve finally had enough.
While a few plot beats felt familiar and the pacing slowed slightly in the middle, the overall momentum and payoff kept me invested. A solid pick if you like character-driven suspense with dark, psychological edges.

i love how the action mixed really well with wanting to know more about the characters. by doing this as well the tension increases because you know more now and feel more for what characters are involved with. i wasn't quite sure where it would lead but i felt in good hands taking me there.
the enough title really works well for this book and lends itself to many things i could come up with for linking it too the characters.
this book explores some really important themes. but it never overwhelms but nor does it make them smaller or does it minimise them. its got a great balance to all moments in this book you cant help but get involved and want to read more. and then you are very much in it. you dont know what would be the best thing. is sharing always the best thing to do even when there is danger about? and when or if you share it there certainly will be consequences in this case.
i very quickly had to keep reading so i could know where this book would end. i had to know how the characters would end up.
a great read which had the deeper and more emotional elements to it. its crime with that extra psychological edge.

This thriller was quite the ride! The tension built up perfectly and while you might think you have it figured out, you definitely do NOT!

I received an ARC of this novel from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
A writer uses a pseudonym to publish her novels because she uses her writing as a form of therapy in which she trauma dumps experiences from her painful childhood.
Overall, I found this book to be quite good, even if it’s not without its flaws. The story kept me interested for most of
That said, some sections felt a bit slow, and a few characters could have been more developed. At times, it felt like certain ideas were either rushed or not explored as deeply as they could have been, which slightly reduced the overall impact.
Still, I enjoyed the experience and don’t regret reading it. I’d recommend it to readers looking for something easy to get into, even if it’s not the most memorable book out there

I extend my gratitude to Netgalley for providing the Advanced Reader Copy.
Katy Dixon's novel, "Enough," centers on the characters of Dan Fox and his former girlfriend, Emma. The narrative commences with Dan experiencing harassment from an unidentified individual. Initially, it appeared that Emma might be responsible, but she subsequently became a target of similar harassment. I found the story somewhat challenging to follow due to the rapid scene transitions and the author's inconsistent use of character names, alternating between first and last names within different sections. Should you choose to read this book, a high degree of attentiveness will be required. The writing itself was commendable; however, certain sections presented a degree of confusion, often necessitating re-reading for clarity.
