It's a good thing to read when you're growing up, starting to be an adult and you don't know who you are and where you're going. Nice reminder that, most of the times, becoming is a process that takes time.

I had mixed feelings about Bitch, You’re Not Stuck… You’re Evolving. On one hand, I really liked Thibado’s writing style and thought it had a strong atmospheric feel, using simple but effective imagery to add emotional weight. Lines such as “the air felt heavier somehow, like it was holding its breath” and “Before I ever knew what being ‘gay’ meant, I knew how to hide” stayed with me.

On the other hand, while the book blends personal memoir with guided reflection on identity, queerness, faith, grief, and self-care, I didn’t personally connect with every theme, which made it harder for me to fully engage at times, and I did skip a few sections. Still, I found myself noting the passages that resonated, and I appreciated how the book encourages readers to reflect on their own experiences and consider what they may have needed in difficult moments.

I think this book will speak most to readers who see their own experiences reflected in it. Overall, a thoughtful and reflective read.
