Ok so this was a love story I didn’t know I needed !! I never really read romance any more and I was in a reading slump and this book did it for me I love how the story flowed how the characters were everyone was likeable except for xena she was a pain and didn’t want to let go of her ex husband after she played in that man’s face thank god he found a love he deserved … but this story was so good I finished this fast thank you for this early copy

This was such a good, well balanced read. The chemistry between Nhuri and Shyriq felt natural and grown, not rushed or forced. I really appreciated how the story focused on emotional growth, communication, and career dynamics without unnecessary drama.

Nhuri was a strong FMC, and watching her step into her confidence both personally and professionally was one of my favorite parts. Shyriq wasn’t perfect, but his growth and accountability made him a solid love interest.

The ending felt intentional and satisfying. It wrapped things up nicely while still leaving room for interpretation, which I actually liked. Overall, this was an engaging, mature romance with depth and heart. I’d definitely recommend it.

This was a great read about moving on after a failed relationship. Nhuri mad some tough decisions choosing family over her personal desires. In the process of reinventing herself she found a love that encouraged her along the way and treated her the way she deserved.

I hope we get a book about Rush! He definitely has a story to tell. This was a great cozy weekend read!

I loved reading about Nhuri and Shyriq’s story. From the beginning of the story with the proposal, the detailing of the scene to the song choice from the old school R&B song, omg. It took me back and I felt like I was there. This slow burn into their tumultuous relationship that lead them back to each other, this read was chef’s kiss. I love a love story that is rough, tough, and beautiful.
