All I can say is Joey and Adriana. I am so captivated by these dark romance books. I thought that the fantasy world had my heart, but these dark romance novels are stealing my soul. I often wondered what it would feel like for a book to have a chokehold on you, and now I know after reading this. Our FMC Adriana is a woman on a mission. She vowed that she and her teenage son would never endure what they just left ever again. She will make sure that they have the life that they deserve. When I tell you, the strength and determination of this woman are unstoppable. That is an understatement. The best part for me was just when I thought I had it figured out, another twist would come and just keep me up half the night reading. That's how I know that this was a five-star read for me. When I lose sleep because I don't want to put a book down ... its 100% ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The slow burn was just the right amount for this story.
