Gilmore's popular series continues, and each book, for me, has gotten better and better. I really appreciated that both Daisy and Elliott act like adults and make adult decisions in this installment-- very little reliance on the miscommunication trope! Huzzah! I find Gilmore's writing to be eminently readable; it sweeps you right along. And her descriptions of small town life make me almost reconsider my distrust of the trope.

Honestly my biggest issues (and they are minor quibbles) are the lack of diversity in the books (I can't tell the couples apart anymore, honestly) and the fact that HEA for Gilmore seems to require children. Neither of these are dealbreakers for me at this point (and I suspect for many an integral part of the series' appeal),, but I couldn't put either issue out of my mind as I read and wonder if the the series will continue in the same way.

But I can't end the review on a negative note, considering I read this one in less than 24 hours. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to reading more of the series!

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper 360 for the opportunity to read and review this DRC. All opinions are mine alone.

Thank you NetGalley and Harper 360 for sending me this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is a return to cozy Dream Harbor that leaves you feeling warm and sentimental. The whole crew of previous FMC and MMCs join as Daisy and Elliot find their way to each other. In this dual POV telling, we see each of them work through residual grief from past failed relationships to grapple with whether they are truly ready for a new one. I really appreciated their careful consideration and reflection on if they are really ready to act on their feelings while playing out their fake dating scheme. Their unexpectedly easy physical affection with each other continually surprises each other in hilarious ways, and I found myself cheering them on to trust it and jump in the deep end together. To anyone familiar with the Dream Harbor series, it’s no surprise this was a lovely read.

Welcome back to Dream Harbor!!! I was so so excited to receive this eARC! The Dream Harbor series is one of my favorites and I couldn’t pass up the chance at another adventure with these characters.

Fake dating is one of my favorite romance tropes so I knew that would love this. Daisy and Elliot are so adorable! I love that’s kinda storm cloudy thinking that she’s cursed but all it takes is sweet shy Elliot to bring the sunshine.

Daisy was a fun character because while we know she’s a native resident of Dream Harbor, she didn’t really show up in the series until Strawberry Patch Pancake House. So it was fun to learn so much about her in this book. And Elliot! Gah I love a shy nerdy MMC and that is exactly what he is!!! He was the perfect compliment to Daisy and was so attentive to everything she needed. The perfect “fake” boyfriend!

The story that really touched me was the parallel between Daisy & Elliot and Aunt D & Nathan. Daisy reading her aunts journals and seeing that is was just as scared of love as Daisy was so touching. I loved that Daisy & Elliot gave that 2 past lovers a second chance at happiness and a chance to do differently. It’s was really so so sweet.

As always Dream Harbor brings us crazy characters and eccentric Town Hall meetings. That is always my favorite part of these books. The epilogue was also such a treat! I don’t think Laurie has taken us that far into characters futures so it was so fun to see!

As always these a such fun sweet stories that just make your heart happy! Thank you so much Harper 360 for the opportunity to read this early copy. And to Laurie Gilmore for taking us back to Dream Harbor for another wonderfully adorable story.

I loved The Daisy Chain Flower Shop, the sixth book in Laurie Gilmore’s Dream Harbor series.

This one had all the elements I’ve come to expect (and love) from her books—a sweet love story, small-town charm, and just the right amount of romance to keep you hooked. The combination of he falls first, slow burn, and fake dating made this such a fun read, and the tension built in a way that kept me turning the pages.

I ended up reading this in about 24 hours because I genuinely didn’t want to put it down. It’s one of those easy, feel-good romances that you can just sink into.

If you’ve enjoyed the other books in the Dream Harbor series, this one fits right in and delivers that same cozy, heartwarming vibe.

Many thanks to NetGalley and HarperCollins 360 for the ARC to read and review.

A heartfelt romance with a hint of mystery! As this is the 6th book in the series, the explanation of background and characters were sparse. I enjoyed this, as it left more room throughout the plot for the main characters. Some of the behaviors of the town were almost silly, but it matched from previous books. The story was well paced, with the mystery element and town interactions balancing the emotions. This currently stands as my favorite in the Dream Harbor Series! Highly recommend if you've read any book in the series.

Soft, sweet, and fully leaning into that cozy small-town atmosphere, this was such an easy book to settle into. I loved the thread of the “curse” and the family history woven throughout, especially how it tied into the idea of taking chances on love instead of repeating the fears of the past. It gave the story a little extra meaning beneath all the sweetness, and made Daisy’s journey feel more intentional and grounded. 🌸💛

There was so much care in this book, not just in the romance but in the friendships and the community as well. Iris’s storyline stood out to me in particular. It was such a small piece of the story, but the way early motherhood was portrayed felt honest and important. This is definitely a very sugary, gentle kind of read, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. Cozy, comforting, and full of heart, this one was an easy four stars for me. ✨

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper 360 for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This story follows Daisy, who owns a flower shop that’s gained a bit of a reputation…every wedding she’s provided flowers for (including her own past relationships) seems to end in heartbreak. Convinced she might be cursed, Daisy brings in Elliot as her fake boyfriend to prove to everyone that she’s capable of a happy, lasting relationship. Of course, what starts as pretend quickly begins to feel very real.

It felt so good jumping back into the cozy, charming small town of Dream Harbor. The sense of community, familiar faces, and heartfelt moments made this story extra special. That being said, this is a standalone so you do not need to wait until fall vibes to catch up on the other books before reading this!

Thank you so much NetGalley and Laurie Gilmore for this ARC read!

Dream Harbor! One of my favorite small towns to read about.

This one features Daisy, the owner of the local flower shop & love cursed FMC, and Elliot, our MMC, a shy architect who is new in town and recently has a broken heart. They enter into a fake dating situation for different reasons. For Daisy, it's to show she isn't cursed in love so her flower shop sees more business. For Elliot, it's to get his family off of his back and show them that he's moving on from his ex.

Like any fake relationship trope, our MCs fall for one another. I ate up every page of this book. Laurie Gilmore did a great job of showing their feelings grow for one another rather than just telling us about it. Meaning, during their cute banter scenes, I had a goofy smile on my face the whole time and was kicking my feet right along with them. In their more intimate moments, I felt like I was holding my breath.

There was an added layer of a mystery in here about Daisy's aunt and how that mystery unraveled helped Daisy to change and grow, which was a really great moment for that character and solidified her relationship with Elliot.

Overall, I loved this story. It can be read as a standalone without feeling lost so if this is the first one in the series you pick up, you won't miss out on anything with these two characters.

Thank you NetGalley for the early copy!

I've really enjoyed this story! I knew I'd love it when I saw it offered here.
This book has made me snicker at times. I sometimes just wanted to shake my head at Daisy. She aggravated me at times.
A little bit of repetitiveness over the same subject but I still enjoyed it
I skipped over the bedroom scenes and the cussing. There's quite a bit of it.
Elliott is an interesting character a bit nerdy but still sort of cute.
His and Daisy's banter was fun too.
I kept rooting for them because I felt that they'd make a great couple!
I did enjoy getting to know them as the story went on.
I also like Iris Daisy's best friend she was a wonderful friend and I felt like she was my friend too when the story was over.
4 stars for a job well done. I gave it 4 stars because of the cussing. I felt that it was unnecessary.
Thanks for the opportunity to read and review. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop was such a good (final?) trip to Dream Harbor. If you’ve liked the rest of this series, this one will hit too. Dream Harbor’s quirkiness is back, with the townspeople believing Daisy’s flower shop is cursed, after a few failed marriages that featured her flowers and Daisy’s unluckiness in love. To combat this, Daisy starts fake dating Elliot, the shy architect, to make the people of Dream Harbor feel like the curse is broken.

The dynamic between Daisy and Elliot is so sweet, particularly due to Elliot. I love how often and easily she can make him blush, and just how much he cares for her. Both of them have some understandable commitment issues, and it does get a little frustrating at points on Daisy’s side, especially when she discounts his feelings a bit in an effort to keep Elliot at arm’s length. Despite this though, he’s very patient with her and respectful of why she feels the way she does.

This was a sweet, cozy time as usual and Laurie Gilmore continues to be an auto buy author for me.

Laurie Gilmore can do no wrong. This was one of my most highly anticipated reads of 2026 and it did not disappoint! I found “The Daisy Chain Flower Shop” to be full of heart, humor, and all of the quirky things that made readers fall in love with Dream Harbor in the first place. This slow burn definitely heated up by the end and the fake dating trope was executed so well 🙌🏻 Loved Daisy (November) and Elliot’s journey and how they were exactly what they needed for each other. Highly recommend when it comes out in May! Thank you NetGalley and Harper Collins for the arc and opportunity to read and review!

Thank you to NetGallery and HarperCollins for the ARC! I’m so grateful to receive this ARC and to be one of the first to read and review!

This was such a soft and comforting read that completely pulled me in! It has that cozy small-town charm that makes everything feel warm and familiar, and while there is some spice, the story really shines in its sweetness and emotional connection.

Daisy and Elliot’s romance felt so tender and genuine. It’s full of quiet moments like shy glances, tentative hand-holding, and those little bursts of affection that feel bigger than grand gestures. Their relationship unfolded in such a gentle way that made it impossible not to root for them. I loved the fake dating trope here (it’s one of my favorites!), and it worked especially well in a town where everyone is constantly watching and speculating. Daisy and Elliot were both a bit guarded because of their pasts, which made their growing feelings feel even more meaningful. The way they slowly opened up to each other, through small touches and soft smiles, was just adorable. And Elliot falling first and being completely all-in? That was everything!!

Elliot was such a standout character for me. He’s a shy and introverted architect who loves history and would rather stay out of the spotlight. It’s not often you see a male lead written this way, and it felt really refreshing. Even with his quiet nature, he showed up for Daisy in all the ways that mattered, especially when it came to standing by her side. The added layer of family history and the “curse” storyline brought something unique to the book. It blended nicely with the romance and gave their connection a deeper meaning without taking away from the cozy feel of the story. And that ending? So satisfying! I just wish I could spend more time in this world!

Daisy thinks she might be cursed and everyone in town thinks so too! I was looking for a comfort read and this fit the bill perfectly. It’s my favorite of the Dream Harbor series so far. Daisy has had a bad run of luck with her last three customer’s weddings that ended in disasters. Her own love life hasn’t been great either. The town begins to steer clear of her, afraid her curse will rub off on them. When Daisy’s ex shows up at her shop with his new fiancé, she pretends that Elliot is her boyfriend and he goes along with it. Elliot is still grieving from a divorce and knows how it feels to be left behind. He moved to Dream Harbor to start over and is an architect, designing the inn remodel. He and Daisy decide fake dating could help her business and keep his mom from being worried about him. Daisy likes his shy smile and nerdy glasses. Elliot thinks Daisy is beautiful, intelligent and funny.

My favorite part of the story is the town’s Beltane festival to celebrate spring. There’s a maypole, food trucks and fairy wine plus Daisy makes beautiful flower crowns that quickly sell out. Daisy and Elliot begin to research the history of the flower shop and her family to try and find a way to break the curse. The main characters are kind and gentle and there’s not a lot of drama except for when they run into some exes and that is really funny. It’s special to see some of the characters from earlier books, especially Iris, Daisy’s best friend (The Strawberry Patch Pancake House). I see that Gilmore will have a new series this fall starting with Big Bad Wolf and I can’t wait. Thanks so much to the author, @HarperCollins360 and NetGalley for the ARC. 05/05

I’m such a huge fan of the Dream Harbor series, and I was so excited to read this ARC—thank you NetGalley and HarperCollins 360! This book was the perfect mix of sweet, funny romance and charming small-town quirkiness. It follows two people who don’t have the best history with relationships and are both a little guarded because of it.

Daisy is trying to break the “curse” the town believes her shop has, while Elliott, who’s new in town, is busy renovating the inn. When he offers to help her break the curse, they agree to fake date—an arrangement that benefits them both. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear these two are meant for each other, but their past traumas and failed relationships make them hesitant to take that leap.

Did I mention how much I love a fake dating trope?! It’s always so much fun to read. The town has such a cozy, campy, Stars Hollow vibe that makes the story even more lovable. Add in a precious rescue puppy, and it’s basically perfection. Sometimes you just need a sweet, feel-good story that makes you smile and giggle, and this one absolutely delivers. I really hope there are more books on the way—I’m not ready for Dream Harbor to end!

I love the entire Dream Harbor series, and the Daisy Chain Flower Shop is my new favorite! Daisy and Elliot are just so sweet together, I just loved how obvious it was from the beginning how much they cared about each other - and how strong their communication was, even as they tried to fight their growing feelings!

I also loved the “curse” aspect of the book and how it was interwoven with a previous ancestor of Daisy. And as always, I love the pop-ups of characters from previous books!

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper 360 for this eARC in exchange for my honest opinions!

I really enjoy these books! Each has a different vibe and can truly be enjoyed alone, you really don’t need to read these all or even in order! These are low angst and easy reads!

Daisy is the town florist and has recently discovered that she is cursed. Or maybe her flowers are? Definitely something is going on because a few of the couples have broken up after their weddings. A frustrated Daisy hatches plan- fake date the new guy in town to convince everyone she’s actually great with love! Hello Elliot! He’s crushed on Daisy from afar and readily agrees! These two have being unlucky in love in common as they are both divorced.

Fake dating isn’t my favorite trope but it really works here. It’s very obvious to everyone that these two are mad about each other. I genuinely enjoyed how they both were so open and honest with one another and it made their summer of falling in love very believable. I also liked getting updates on all the other couples too, plus that epilogue!

This was such a cute and easy spring read! I already love Laurie Gilmore’s Dream Harbor books, and The Daisy Chain Flower Shop totally delivered those cozy small town vibes again. The fake relationship trope felt light and natural, not overdone. One of my favorite parts was the found family energy…Dream Harbor just feels like a place you want to live. And seeing returning characters pop in made it even better if you’ve read the others. Nothing too heavy, just sweet, cozy, and a little bit magical. I REALLY enjoyed this story! I've read all the books in the series, and this one was definitely my favorite. I really loved both Daisy an Elliot, and their relationship was so sweet. Their tension was SO GOOD, and I really felt for both of them as they overcame past heartbreak and healed, allowing them to open themselves up to each other. I also really enjoyed the old diary entries and the "mystery" of figuring out the past in order to break the curse. A great read!

The next installment of The Dream Harbor series is a gem, as expected. I appreciate the earnest conversations. The candor of this couple is purely fiction because Lord knows that no complete communicates their feelings that well!

I love the throwbacks and was happy with the full circle moment. This series does a wonderful job of spiraling back to older stories. So many emotions in this one but I may know who the next couple is if…

My concern is that it is pretty ambiguous whether there will be another story in the series or, with the epilogue, it will be complete. Here’s to hoping for another!

Review of an advanced reader copy from Harper Collins 360.

Short sweet small town story just like the rest of the series. Daisy who runs Daisy Chain Flower Shop comes from a whole lineage of Daisy's who have ran the flower shop in the family. Everyone thinks her flower shop is curses since the couples who uses her flower shop as the florist would end up breaking up.

She suddenly enlist Elliot as her fake boyfriend when her ex & his fiancé visits her flower shop looking for florists for their wedding. Both Daisy & Elliot are scarred from their past relationship mistakes. There's angst with each other but can they let go of their past doubts to make this fake relationship last?

Sweet story but it feels like maybe something is missing?

Cute cozy fake dating romance just in time for upcoming reads. This is book 6 in the Dream Harbor series but you can enjoy this sweet romance without having read the others. The mayor of Dream Harbor has stated Daisy, the owner of a florist shop, is cursed. Several weddings she’s produced arrangements for have resulted in divorce. To make matters worse, her ex-fiancé, David, shows up with his new fiancé, Hailey. But in comes new-to-town Elliot and quick thinking Daisy introduces him to David and Hailey as her new boyfriend and gets him to agree to pass as her boyfriend to ward off the “curse”. In the course of pretending, Daisy finds a diary of her Great Aunt Daisy detailing her romance. The two read it sometimes together. Daisy is determined to erase the curse and Greet Aunt Daisy may help. Sweet story. Perfect for anytime you just need to snuggle up for a good read. I’d like to thank NetGalley and Harper 360 for allowing me to read this ARC.

Laurie Gilmore is an incredible cozy, romance storyteller and this book is no different. I jumped in immediately back into the world of Dream Harbor, like I never left and have lived there forever. Daisy's 'curse' and 'fake relationship' had me flipping pages as fast a possible. The pacing was perfect and incorporating previous leading ladies of Dream Harbor was a beautiful balance. I loved the historical connections intertwined with Daisy's past. It felt like a sweeter version of Gilmore Girls with the perfect happy ending. Taking me into multiple futures of 'breaking the curse'. What an ending!

There are some spicy scenes but they flow naturally with the book and are a great way to showcase the magnetic and deeply passionate love Daisy and Elliott have.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is sweet, spicy and... cursed. At least according to Daisy and the entire town. No one will use her for their wedding flowers because the last few couples that did broke up. Enter Elliot, the very sweet and nerdy architect in town to renovate houses and the inn. Daisy and Elliot decide to have a fake relationship so she can start getting business again. Sparks are flying and I was waiting to see who would fall first. I loved these two as a couple and I loved checking in to see all the other couples from prior books. Laurie Gilmore just has a way of writing a romance that will warm your heart, you know exactly what is going to happen, but you will find yourself cheering them on along the way. If you are looking for a sweet but spicy contemporary romance, I highly recommend you check out the Dream Harbor series.

Daisy and Elliot are the best fake relationship HEA I've read in a long while! This is one of the top books in the series for me. The yearning! The spice hits at around 75% of the way through and it's **chef's kiss**

The town of Dream Harbor believes flowers from Daisy's historical downtown shop are cursed because the last couple of weddings she did ended in divorce and she herself has been spurned twice. Small-town superstition is killing her business. In order to save her shop and her sanity, she enlists the help of local architect divorcee Elliot and their attraction is REAL immediately. As word spreads of their romance, Daisy and Elliot investigate a possible family connection and wrestle with opening their hearts again.

The flirting is so delicious, I breezed through this book in two days. These two were a joy to root for. The way he shows up for her, gives her understanding, and then the time and space to choose him - is EPIC. Everyone will be fully in love with Elliot long before Daisy realizes she is.

I'm guessing book 7 will feature Elliot's brother Caleb and Vivienne the hot local vet? Gilmore also gives you a satisfying 20-year-in-the-future epilogue, so you won't be left guessing on how Daisy & Elliot's HEA is going. I LOVE it when authors do that. I wish this had come out in time to add to my Easter basket! Especially BIG THANKS to the team at Harper Collins for the ARC!

What a cute, cozy romance story that takes place in a small town called Dream Harbor. I loved following Daisy and Elliot’s story of becoming friends through a fake relationship to change the minds of the town people and said ‘curse’ that is corrupting the local Flower Shop business.

This is book 6 of the Dream Harbor romance series. I will say, this one read very well as a standalone. I have books 1-3 on my physical bookshelf TBR pile, and I have not started them yet (covering my face with embarrassment… LoL). I have been told to read them in order, as past characters do come back into the story, and you will understand their back story better along the way. Well, I guess I am going backward then!

** Thank you, NetGalley, Harper 360, and Laurie Gilmore, for an eARC copy of ‘The Daisy Chain Flower Shop’.

Daisy Chain Flower Shop,
#6 in the series and yet this is the first one I’ve read 😅. Don’t mind me staring at my copy of The Pumpkin Spice Cafe that I now really want to read. I was pleasantly surprised with this one considering I’m not a huge fan of an only romance book, but with that said, I loved it. There were times it was a little slow or I was questioning why I was reading the same thing over and over again in regards to their feelings for each other, but overall the romance was good. And who doesn’t love a fake relationship?

“Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance reader copy; all opinions are my own.”

Daisy Chain Flower Shop continues the Dream Harbour series in a way that we've all come to expect. The banter, flow and plot are both endearing and enjoyable. The looping in of past characters and the quirks of the town in general really shines in this book as most of the plot revolves around the mayor's dreams having a negative impact on Daisy. It's hard not to love these characters and it was even harder to put this book down.

I love the Dream Harbor series so much! I would happily keep reading these stories forever.

Daisy’s flower shop is suffering after the town has decided the weddings she does are cursed. Her own love life seems pretty cursed too. So her solution? Fake date sweet, shy Elliot. Convince the town they’re in love. Earn back wedding business and save the shop. But naturally, fake dating leads to real feelings.

Laurie has managed to make all of her couples feel so real and their stories distinct. I thought the curse made for a fun mystery element. The hint of magic has me excited to see what she has in store with Big Bad Wolf!

But also, I hope we’ll be back in Dream Harbor sooner than later!

Thanks to Harper 360 and NetGalley for the e-ARC! All opinions are my own.

I was so excited when I received this book as an ARC from Harper Collins through NetGalley. I love to read and sell the Laurie Gilmore Dream Harbor stories and have been excited for this next story. Already pre-ordered. I have to say that this one is probably my favorite! I really enjoy how each book can be a standalone but you get to enjoy previous characters in each book. This one will definitely be a hit. Daisy and Elliot are literally two of the most endearing characters yet. Fake relationship, yes please.

Can't wait to recommend this book to my readers and customers!

Although this is is Dream Harbor #6, it was my first book by this author. I really enjoyed it. It was a nice, light romance set in a great community with plenty of interesting characters. I love a good story about a green-light hero, and the historical twist was fun. Reading this one made me want to go back and read the others. It also made me wonder who's next on the list for love.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Harper 360 for an ARC in exchange for my honest assessment of this work.

The Daisy Chain bookshop is by far the best in the Dream Harbor series in my opinion! It had so much more depth & history to their little town! I felt like I was really getting to know every character, even from past books so much more!

Daisy & Elliott were adorable! Daisy felt very relatable to me, I think most of us have loved & lost and then felt exactly as she did, like it would never work out again.

Iris & Archer and then Jack & Gabe were fun couples to follow while reading as well!

The whole story very much gave Firelight Festival vibes (IYKYK) — Mac serving his version of “Pattys Punch” haha. Still giving Gilmore Girls in the best way!

I think my favorite part was the journal entries! That to me is what gave it more depth, more history, made it feel like a real town even more rather than just a scene in a story!

Anyways 5/5 for sure from me! If you love Gilmore Girls & Hallmark with spice, these are it for you!

4.5 stars! Another cutie little edition to everybody favorite small-town romance series, from the actual queen of small-town romances!

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is another usual suspect.
It's adorable, it's cozy, it's sweet and a little spicy and can be read as a stand alone if you haven't read the previous books in the series. (with tons of mentions of past main characters though!)
It is also SEASONAL! Just as the other books are. And with the way that I yearn for seasonal reads, I basically hope that this series will be never ending.
This is just perfect for spring! I am so glad to have gotten to read and enjoy it early, during what I feel is really a peak time for this sort of thing.

I almost feel like the entire Dream Harbor series is starting to blend together in my head a bit. and I am starting to lose track of people, their spouses and their businesses.
But genuinely I cannot bring myself to care because the vibes are so strong that I don't even feel like it matters.

With that being said, this books couple, Daisy and Elliot- are super cute.
This really comes through to me as being sunshine x sunshine, which is fantastic. and again... exactly what I wanted to see in a spring coded story.
It's giving me tons of happy, flowery energy!
Now, there are some elements about Daisy being "cursed", and also some hard emotions regarding failed marriages... and so on. But, I still felt the overall feel was pretty bright.

Do I even need to mention what an awesome writer that Laurie Gilmore is? Probably not!
I feel like we all know it already, but I'll talk about it anyway.
She's great! Actually so great, that I didn't even need to read the synopsis of this before deciding that I needed to read it.
I went in with high expectations, knowing that I would not be disappointed, And I wasn't!
I just think her writing style, her prose and her attention to cute, vibey details comes through so well in everything that she creates. She is one of those authors that I can tell puts thought and effort into her stories and her characters, which is impressive considering how often she releases new work!

Overall, it's great.
It seems to be pretty on-par with the rest of the series, so if you have enjoyed those, get ready for your next fun read!

Thank you to Netgalley. Harper 360 and author Laurie Gilmore, for providing me with the eARC of "The Daisy Chain Flower Shop", in exchange for my honest review!

This was my first read of this series but I'm hooked. I was lured in initially by the cover and title since my dog's name (and this review blog) was Daisy. That said, I was immediately drawn in from the very start and found myself liking and rooting for Daisy and Elliot. Dream Harbor sounds like one of those small towns where everyone knows everyone's business almost before they do. It's also quirky enough that the town seems to have fallen into believing Daisy's flower shop is cursed due to a dream the town mayor had. Although I'm only getting introduced to many of the probably usual characters at this point, none of them seem to genuinely dislike Daisy, so that belief was a bit, uh, "out there". It was rather sad to read that in a town that seems to pride itself on knowing everything and then some about residents, however, that Elliot remains a mystery to most. Talk about not being noticed.

I definitely don't want to ruin the plot for readers so will keep this vague. Fake dating is the trope of the day here and while it isn't necessarily one of my favorites, it's sweet and works. Honestly, I was rooting for Daisy even before Elliot appeared. His quick thinking and ability to follow the upset Daisy's lead on deceiving her former boyfriend and his new girlfriend, who, no lie, she finds herself liking, made me like him immediately. That he's a history buff would have been the deciding factor for this history buff but, well, as noted, I was already rooting for them as a couple. As a new reader, I may have been hearing Daisy's background for the first time but family is obviously important to both and they find themselves caught up in looking at some old photos and digging into their family backgrounds. The idea of the curse is woven into it all and gave the story a bit more meaning to me as one who has spent some time researching my own family's heritage and backgrounds. So, all in all, as noted, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and will be looking for future books from author Gilmore as well as catching up on all I've missed.

Bottom line, a sweet story that had likable characters and a quirky but fun setting made this one a winner for me. I use the word sweet in that their connection was so cautious and was a gentle slow burn with small, usually hesitant steps together with shared looks, hand holding, and getting to know each other without relying on steamy scenes. Thanks #Harper30 for introducing me to this charming couple and the town of Dream Harbor where dreams do make a difference.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is the sixth book in the Dream Harbor series and follows main characters Daisy, the owner of the Daisy Chain Flower Shop, and Elliot, an architect who is new to town and working to renovate the local inn. The town is convinced that Daisy is cursed since the last several weddings she did flowers for ended in divorce, not to mention she herself has an ex-husband and an ex-fiancé. One day, her ex-fiancé shows up in her flower shop with the women he is engaged to. Daisy panics and tells them that she is dating someone right as Elliot walks into the shop. He is unknowingly conscripted to be her fake boyfriend and before they know it, rumor has spread all over town that they are dating. Determined to get Dream Harbor to think that the curse is broken, Elliot and Daisy keep up the ruse through fake dates, introducing each other to their families, and tracking down their shared ancestral history in Dream Harbor. While there is a momentary panic that they are related, they confirm they are not and slowly begin to fall for each other, all while denying it to everyone including each other.

This is another hit in the Dream Harbor series by Laurie Gilmore with favorite characters from previous books making appearances. The town's fun and quirky atmosphere also stays intact and readers are introduced to new couples that will hopefully be featured in future books. I am already looking forward to book sevens release!

Huge thank you to NetGalley, Laurie Gilmore, and the publisher for an eARC of this book!

"You put me back together... brought me back to myself."

3.5 Stars!

This was adorable. Elliot was this cute, awkward, shy, nerdy guy who was trying to put his life back together after divorce. Enter Daisy, who suddenly needs a fake boyfriend to convince the town that she's not cursed after two failed relationships.

Fake dating ALWAYS leads to more and it was so fun to watch these two blur the lines between fake and real until they couldn't take it anymore!

The subplot about their past family members was also super interesting as Daisy learned more about what happened to her great aunt. Anything to help break the curse!

A super cute and fast read. Love being back in Dream Harbor. And maybe looking at book 7 with Elliot's brother and the vet?!

Any book in the Dream Harbor Series is a must read for me and this did not disappoint. I love that the loveable small town cast of characters are always brought back into each story, and we even get introduced to some new ones. Daisy and Elliott were a fun couple to take on the fake dating trope. I loved how the couple dived into past history within Daisy's family and a little bit of Dream Harbor. One of my favorite parts in the book although at the end was how far into the future the epilogue was set, I would love to read more of that.

I can’t get enough of the Dream Harbor series, it’s one of those worlds I never want to leave. This installment follows Daisy, whose struggling flower shop gets tangled up in rumors of a wedding “curse.” Her solution? A fake relationship with the quiet, lovable Elliot… which of course starts to feel a little too real. I loved the mix of romance and light mystery, and the small-town charm continues to shine. Each couple in this series feels unique, and this one was no exception. The subtle magical elements add a fun twist, and I’m already excited to see where the series goes next.

Laurie Gilmore is back to form with The Daisy Chain Flower Shop. This was such a fast and cozy read! Daisy's "curse" was brought up in the previous novel in the series and it intrigued me, so I was excited to read her story. Elliot was also mentioned previously and I appreciated his story. Elliot was shy and married his first girlfriend, only to have that relationship fizzle when they realized they didn't have much in common. He is attracted to Daisy but still recovering from heartbreak/grief and doesn't want to make a move. Daisy corrals him into pretending he is her boyfriend to save ace when her ex-fiancé shows up with his new fiancé to plan their wedding in her town.

What I Liked:
Elliot and Daisy were two sides of the same coin and I really was pulling for them
that their fake dating was a real friendship and they allowed themselves to grow in their affection for each other (but damn it was a slow burn)
how much Elliot's family loved and cared for him
Elliot was so sweet and steadfast
seeing more of Iris and Archer, one of my fav couples from the previous book in the series (Strawberry Patch Pancake House)
the town was still there, and still quirky, but more grounded in reality
The photo and connection between their ancestors

This was one of my favorites of the series, the main characters were just so likeable and her writing is stronger than it has been. Fans of Sarah Adams Rome, Kentucky series would love this book! 4.25 stars. Thanks to Net Galley and to Harper 360 for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I silent screamed on a phone call at my desk job when I got approved for this ARC and it didn't disappoint. The Dream Harbor series is my favorite romance series of all time, I fear, and I have been very into fake-dating tropes recently, so The Daisy Chain Flower Shop hit so hard. Since the cast of the Dream Harbor residents has grown so much, I wish there was a bit more balance of pagetime for them and wish Kira was featured more since she was so closely aligned with Iris in previous books, however this is really a nonissue in terms of the actual plot of the book. Elliot and Daisy's relationship had just the right amount of pining and miscommunication that it kept me invested in reading to see them finally come together. I always forget there's a technically a mystery in these books until it's slapped down in my face, but I enjoyed the geneological mysetry of Elliot and Daisy's ancestors. especailly with the deep roots of Daisy's flower shop and the lineage that is so vital to her character. The 'breaking of the chain' complimented the blossoming relationship between Daisy and Elliot in a very realistic way, which is part of the charm of these books. If Laurie Gilmroe writes it, I'm absolutely going to read it and The Daisy Chain Flower Shop was such a delightful, cozy addition to the series.

Daisy and Elliot’s story was so fun! They weren’t as built up as some of the other couples in Dream Harbor have been, but it worked well. I enjoyed getting to know them both and seeing their interactions with the others in town. I also enjoyed how this book served as a way to add a few new characters to the town that could be featured in future stories. I am not a huge fan of third-act break-ups, especially when there’s already some conflict throughout, so I appreciated how the conflict was really focused on their growth as individuals and their confidence in relationships. The mystery element was well done, and I liked how it helped Daisy to self-reflect in a way that wasn’t so focused on her own perceived failures.

I love the Dream Harbor series and this is no exception! We follow Daisy, owner of the flower shop and potentially cursed, as well as Elliot, an architect that is helping to redesign the inn, as they embark on a fake dating endeavor to help each other out.

What we get is a story about healing from past heartbreaks, about how to open yourself to love again and how to say ''I want this'' even when you're scared. I had the best time reading this and I cannot wait to see where we go next in the series.

This was a cute romance with a touch of mystery to it. And a good bit of heat as well. After a bad breakup with her ex, Daisy moves back home and into a small apartment at the back of the flower shop her family has run for several generations. Her mom turns the reins over to her (sort of) and then things really go downhill, thanks to the town mayor and his vision of Daisy being cursed. When two of the weddings Daisy did the flowers for also tank, everyone in town agrees that she is cursed and nobody except the funeral home will buy flowers from her. When her ex and his new fiancé show up in her shop, Daisy does the only thing she can think of and grabs another man in the shop, introducing him as her boyfriend. Fortunately, Elliot goes along with the ruse, and disaster is averted. Except that now they have to go forward with their fake romance or her shop might really go down the tubes. Also fortunately, Elliot already has the hots for Daisy so agreeing to be her fake boyfriend is not a prolem.
Until it is.

As the two go through with their fakery, they discover they are really having feelings for each other. The heat gets turned up and frustration kicks in as they try to deny their feelings. Then Daisy sees a picture of her great aunt, Daisy, who looks exactly like her, and that Daisy’s boyfriend who looks exactly like Elliot. Determined to break the curse of unrequited love, Daisy and Elliot look into the past…and discover their future. Together.

I loved both Daisy and Elliot! They are perfectly flawed and fighting against their feelings for each other when everyone knows they belong together. I love how Daisy starts out the story in all black, but ends up in bright colors, showing her growth. And there is a loose thread that lets us know there are more stories coming in this series.

Recommended.

Daisy and Elliott were the perfect end to the series. Not only do I love a great fake dating trope. But their chemistry hit from page 1.

Without knowing I’d entered into a world with five prior stories, I found myself in a charming small town with adorably named shops and progressive community values. Daisy, from a long line of Daisy’s, now runs the family flower shop but finds herself hurting for business because of a few broken marriages… that she did the flowers for. Her own love life had seen better days, and when her ex fiance David surprises her with his new fiance, Daisy takes a chance on local architect, and incredibly shy, Elliot, with the whole “this is my new boyfriend” ruse. The pair decide to continue the charade, all the while attempting to keep their cool and not fall in love. The town feels like a true Hallmark small town setting, or a modern day Stars Hollow, and the friends and family we meet along the way add humor and depth to the couple’s journey. I’ll be checking out the prior books and follow along for future stories!

The 6th book in the Dream Harbor series and I still love this town and the characters!

Daisy's flower shop is facing bankruptcy because of something the mayor said that makes the town believe she's the cause of failed weddings. So people stop stopping at her shop for flowers. Until newcomer Elliot, who's secretly had a crush on her helps her make a fake dating plan to repair her reputation. It's a spicy, fun little romance. Re=appearing characters from the previous books, but it could be read as a stand alone.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop
Dream Harbor book 6
By Laurie Gilmore

This is the first book by the author that I've read and I loved it so much. I'll definitely be looking for her other books set in Dream Harbor.

Daisy took over the flower shop from her mother but her first 3 weddings ended in divorce and thanks to the mayor everyone thinks her shop is cursed for HEA. But when Elliott who is in town renovating the Inn stops in for a flowers for his visiting mom he's intrigued by Daisy. Little do either of them know that with a little genealogy research they will discover a connection to each other. When Elliot proposes to Fake date there will be a wild and hilarious ride until they find out their love is forever after.

I can't wait for the next book. Thank you to Net Galley and Harper 360 for letting me read this wonderful book in advance.

This book contains all the small town charm of the previous books in the Dream Harbor series. I love the way each book is its own story while also continuing the stories of established characters from the prior books through snippets. The book is a journey of self-discovery for both of the main characters who are struggling with insecurities brought on by their previous failed relationships. Laurie Glimore manages to both wrestle with hard emotional struggles throughout the book, while also keeping the story light and cozy feeling.

🌼 Adorable • Sweet • Charming

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is such a cute, feel-good read with a fun fake-dating setup that slowly turns into something real. The story follows a flower shop passed down through a long “chain” of Daisy’s, which adds such a unique and charming touch to the whole book. It gives the story a sense of history and heart that makes it stand out.

The romance is light, playful, and easy to root for, with just enough emotional depth to keep it meaningful. Watching the relationship shift from pretend to genuine was so satisfying, and the overall vibe is warm, happy, and uplifting.

🌟 Rating: 4/5
Would recommend to: Readers who love fake-dating tropes, sweet romance, and charming stories with unique, feel-good settings. 🌸💛

Wow, this was my first read by the talented Laurie Gilmore, and I am thrilled to say I was absolutely not disappointed. In fact, I was so impressed that I am now planning to go back and devour all of her previous works! This novel has definitely made me a new fan.

A huge thank you is in order to #NetGalley for providing me with an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book. It is important to state that this review and the feedback provided for this novel are based entirely on my honest and unbiased opinion.

Going into this book, I had no clue what kind of story I was about to dive into, but from the moment I turned to page one, I was utterly captivated. The writing style immediately drew me in, and the pacing kept me hooked right through to the very end. The central premise involving the fake relationship trope was executed brilliantly. I became emotionally invested in the characters and their situation almost immediately, and I found myself passionately rooting for them and hoping for a genuine connection to blossom all the way up until the very last page.

The storyline featuring Daisy and Elliot was simply superb. Their individual character arcs were well-developed, and their chemistry was palpable. As mentioned, the book had me completely hooked, making it a true page-turner. What I didn't expect, never having read her work before, was the significant level of "spice" in the novel. It was a wonderful surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed and definitely added an unexpected layer of heat and excitement to the story.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend this book to anyone looking for an engaging, romantic, and spicy read. I can't wait to see what Laurie Gilmore writes next!

Ladies, it’s time to update the dream: the era of fantasizing about owning a Christmas tree farm or a quaint seaside bookshop is officially over. A floral shop is the new goal—add it to your bucket list immediately. And while we’re at it, pumpkin spice lattes are out; lilacs, lavender, and freesia are very much in. Got it? Good. Let’s continue.

Daisy has terrible luck in love—an ex-husband and an ex-fiancé to prove it. As if that weren’t enough, the town mayor has one of his ominous “visions” about her flower shop, complete with a dark cloud looming overhead. In a small town, that’s all it takes. Suddenly, Daisy isn’t just unlucky—she’s cursed. With two seemingly doomed weddings already tied to her shop, the townspeople are convinced she’s the common denominator.

Determined to turn things around and save her business, Daisy presses on. But fate has a sense of humor: her ex-fiancé walks into her shop with his new fiancée, looking for the perfect wedding venue. In a moment of panic (and perhaps desperation), Daisy grabs the first man who walks through the door and introduces him as her boyfriend. Enter Elliot—recently divorced and just as unlucky in love.

What follows is a charming fake-dating arrangement meant to save face—both in front of Daisy’s ex and Elliot’s overbearing mother. But as the two spend more time together, they begin to dig into the history of Daisy’s shop… and the possible origins of her so-called curse.

Will this fresh start—and a certain architect—be enough to break the curse? Or is Daisy destined to give up on love and stick to arranging flowers for funerals?

Book Club Recommendations:
Food: Muffins
Drinks: Tea
Activity: Have each member bring a different type of flower and a mason jar. Create a shared bouquet by exchanging stems, then take your arrangement home!
Music: Don’t forget to check out the playlist at the beginning of the book.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper360 for the advanced digital copy!

I’ve enjoyed all the Dream Harbor books and this one was no exception. Elliot and Daisy are such a cute couple, even though they are faking dating. The character development throughout the book was well thought out and I enjoyed the digging deep into their pasts. I also enjoyed the updates on the couples from past Dream Harbor books.

This might be my new favorite of the series. It’s light. It’s breezy. It put a big smile on my face throughout the entire book. Daisy and Elliot were both loveable characters who had been hurt in the past. They were perfect for one another. The spice level was just right and added to the story instead of distracting from it. This was an enjoyable, cozy read, perfect for the spring.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper 360 for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinions.
I love these books and I think this one is my favorite.
A littly too much spice but I loved the dynamic with Daisy and Elliot.
Daisy is fed up with being unlucky in love, and after several weddings she has done the flowers for end in divorce, her beloved flower shop has gained a reputation of being cursed, thanks to Mayor Kelly and his infamous visions.
Dream Harbor newcomer, Elliot, has been adjusting to town life following his own relationship turmoil. And until now he’s avoided the flower shop at all costs. If the mayor is correct, he doesn’t need any more bad luck in his life.
But with his family coming to visit, Elliot finds himself reluctantly in front of Daisy’s store in need of some flowers. As the petals blossom in the sunlight, Daisy and Elliot might find that love comes when you’re least expecting it…
Starting out as a misunderstanding with the extent of their relationship turns into a delightful story.
I love a fake dating story but if that isnt cup of trope, you might not like this one. As usual, Laurie Gilmore writes it well and brings it all together.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is the latest in the Dream Harbor romance series, and it has everything you'd expect from the series: the characters you've come to love, the cozy, quirky small town setting, a sweet and spicy romance, and a feel-good read. This story features Daisy who owns the town flower shop and is struggling with how her life turned out -- a failed marriage and engagement and a return to the flower shop she can barely keep running because everyone in town thinks she's cursed. Elliot is also struggling with the unexpected turns his life has taken: his failed marriage, leaving the company he used to own with his brother, and finding himself in Dream Harbor alone. When Daisy's ex-fiancé shows up with his new fiancée looking at wedding flowers, Daisy panics and grabs Elliot and pretends they're dating, setting off a fake dating scheme. Both Daisy and Elliot aren't sure they're ready for another love or even if they believe in it anymore but realize that fake dating will benefit them both. Of course, as they spend more time together, they start to develop real feelings. I really enjoyed the cameos from the characters in the previous books, the continued quirky town antics, and getting to know Daisy and Elliot better. The town believing Daisy was cursed felt real for this town, and I appreciated how it forced Daisy to evaluate her life and what she really wanted, which was much needed after life threw her many curveballs. She also finds the diary of her great aunt and while I felt some parts were too similar and on the nose, I did see how it eventually helped her reflect on her own choices. Two things were different about this title from the others in the series: One, there were many more LGBTQ+ characters, which I appreciated! Two, this one had a "twenty years later" epilogue, which I thought was really interesting. I appreciated how this one felt like a continuation of the Strawberry Patch Pancake house (my favorite in the series) and pretty heavily featured Iris and her new mom/postpartum challenges, and the epilogue also included Iris and Archer, which was fun to see. If you like the other books in the series, I'd definitely recommend picking this one up. Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC!

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley.
I'm in love with Dream Harbor. Seriously, I want to move to Dream Harbor and have a sweet and spicy romance happen to me. Daisy and Elliot were adorably awkward and totally not subtle. Both coming from heartbreak and learning to love again felt like a better twist to the fake dating trope than I'd heard in a while. I was just as invested in Jack’s progression with Gabe, too. Also, I sense a set up for a seventh book.

Thank you to NetGalley and Laurie Gilmore for the ARC of The Daisy Chain Flower Shop! This was easily my favorite installment out of the entire six-book series.

Elliott and Daisy were absolutely perfect together. Elliott is the shy, tender-hearted guy who’s still healing from heartbreak, and Daisy is the charming flower shop owner dealing with a lingering curse she just can’t seem to shake. Their decision to fake date in hopes of breaking the curse leads to a story full of warmth, emotional growth, and a few unexpected twists—including some fascinating family history.

Elliott quickly became one of my favorite male leads of the series. His quiet nature, constant blushing, and genuine, unwavering love for Daisy made him incredibly endearing. Watching their relationship develop felt both sweet and satisfying.

I also loved revisiting characters from earlier books—it added an extra layer of nostalgia and connection that longtime readers will really appreciate.

Thank you NetGalley for another arc. The Daisy Chain flower shop focuses on our FMC Daisy who is said to cursed due to her past failed relationships including a failed marriage. Consequently, the town folks are not doing wedding floral arrangements with her business as they are fearful her bad luck may extend to their marriage. Because of this, Daisy’s business is hanging on by a thread and what makes it worse is that her ex fiancée waltz in her business with his new fiancée. Daisy being shocked and dumbfounded immediately lied that she too has moved on and is in a relationship with Elliot who walked in her flower shop while this conversation is taking place. Elliot immediately played along as he saw Daisy’s discomfort. They then agree that they will continue pretending they are in a relationship in front of the town folks as well as Elliot’s mom and brother so that they may stop worrying about him.

You will enjoy this book if you like fake dating relationship, found family, yearning and small town romance.

As a huge fan of this series, this installment just didn’t hit the same for me. The premise itself was hard to fully buy into. The idea that an entire town truly believes a flower shop is cursed felt a bit over the top, and that lingering disbelief kept me from feeling fully immersed in the story.

The third-person point of view also made it harder to connect emotionally with the characters. Instead of feeling pulled into their relationship, I felt more like I was watching it from a distance.

That said, it’s still a sweet and easy read. It flows well, has its charming moments, and delivers a cozy, low-stakes romance. The characters are likable, and the overall vibe fits the series, but it just didn’t have the emotional depth or spark that made previous books stand out for me.

Side note for the author: I need a book about the pet store and the inn now! I'd love to read more about Jack & Gabe! :)

Summary:
Daisy’s flower shop has earned a reputation for being cursed after several couples she’s worked with end up divorced, thanks in part to the town mayor’s dramatic predictions. Meanwhile, Elliot, new to Dream Harbor and recovering from his own heartbreak, tries to avoid anything that might bring him more bad luck. But when circumstances force him into Daisy’s shop, the two begin to form an unexpected connection that challenges the idea of fate, luck, and love.

I like that Elliot just accepted Daisy stating he was her boyfriend. I love that Iris told Daisy that it is green flag behavior when a man goes "with your crazy". The town meetings are so insane, it's hilarious. I get a feeling of nostalgia when the previous books in the series are referenced. I get the feeling that Elliot feels deeply. I love how comfortable Daisy and Elliot are with one another. And the subtle, but not subtle flirting is adorable. I am glad Daisy essentially gets out of her own way to be with Elliot. I love the trust they build with each other. I love the found family feel with the friendships they built through the series.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper 360 for this ARC e-copy of The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore.

In this latest addition to the beloved Dream Harbor series, flower shop owner Daisy and architect Elliot—both unlucky in love, maybe even cursed—embrace the iconic “fake dating” trope in an attempt to turn their fortunes around.

This might be my favorite Dream Harbor entry since The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore. I enjoyed the concept and thought it was well-executed. I liked the overarching theme of not dwelling on the past. I especially loved an LGBTQ+ romance side-plot. Pair all of this with a Fiona Davis-esque vintage diary and a subplot in which Iris trudges through the often-invisible struggles of motherhood, and we have a winner.

I can’t stop reading this cozy, feel-good series. I want to own all of the sprayed edge special editions and display them on my shelves and revisit them over and over. I already can’t wait for the next one.

The sixth book in the popular Dream Harbor series by Laurie Gilmore! Daisy is cursed in love-at least that's what she and the entire town thinks after a failed marriage and engagement. Elliott is adjusting to his new life in Dream Harbor after his divorce. When he stumbles into Daisy's flower shop and they agree to "fake" date to solve both of their problems, they realize that maybe this is the real thing. But are they both willing to risk another heartbreak to find out? A fun, romantic, second chance, small town vibes novel that will have you swooning and believing in love again.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop 🌸✨
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Book 6 of Dream Harbor
Pub Date May 05 2026

💐 I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again... Laurie Gilmore’s books are the epitome of cozy sexy and truly in a league of their own! ☕️🔥

Every return to Dream Harbor feels like coming home, and somehow, every new story becomes my absolute favorite. This time, we’re following Elliott and Daisy, and my heart just couldn't take it.

The Plot 📖
🤓 Elliott: Our sweet, nerdy MMC who moved to Dream Harbor to live out his hermit dreams and heal his heart after a divorce. He is pure gold.

🌼 Daisy: The hometown girl returning after a broken engagement. She’s sworn off love forever to protect her heart, but Dream Harbor has other plans.

I laughed out loud (the owners of the Inn being named Mary & Joseph is top-tier humor 😆), I teared up (that epilogue reached into my chest and squeezed!), and I spent the whole time fantasizing about moving to a quirky town filled with beautiful people.

The Tropes 🏹
🐾 Golden Retriever MMC / Black Cat FMC
🏠 Forced Proximity
🤥 Fake Dating
💘 He Falls First
🏘️ Small Town Vibes
🌶️ Spicy (and then some!)

If you want a book that feels like a warm hug but keeps the tension high, pick this one up immediately. Laurie Gilmore has done it again! 🌼

I enjoyed this latest installment in the Dream Harbor series by Laurie Gilmore. I felt that the story started very strong, but seemed to slow a bit in the middle. I really enjoyed some of the side characters, they added a lot of humor and levity to the novel. Daisy & Elliott's ARC was strong, and I appreciated that there was not huge 'break-up' moment. Overall, a sweet and spicy read, and you know our two will get their HEA. Thank you NetGalley & Harper 360 for the ARC!.

Just when I thought The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore was my favorite Dream Harbor book, along comes The Daisy Chain Flower Shop. This was me the whole time I was reading the book - 😍. I absolutely loved Daisy and Elliot. The failed relationships they’ve both gone through added a great slow burn to their romance, and I loved that they couldn’t help falling for one another during their fake dating.

I also really enjoyed the generational aspect of the flower shop, and the addition of Daisy’s family history. The parallel of her great aunt’s relationship and learning about it through her journal entries was perfect for Daisy’s character growth and for overcoming the “curse” she was under.

Laurie Gilmore has created a place where I wish I could live and enjoy escaping to with her stories. Daisy, aptly named, is the town florist, who plans to fake date the new guy in town Elliot to prove she is NOT cursed. Now, I usually don't love fake dating tropes, but this one actually works! I also like how honest they are with one another and how they actually communicate. Miscommunication is my least favorite trope, so this was very refreshing.

When a pretend relationship quickly turns real, Daisy and Elliot must deal with the supposed curse that affects Daisy. She had a brief young marriage and was engaged and dumped. Because she has been unlucky at love, her town thinks she is cursed and will not use her flower shop for wedding which is a major source of revenue for florists. Unless Daisy can convince the town that she has broken the curse, she is at risk of losing her generations owned shop. Elliot has also struggled with relationships. They are sweet and loving together. I love this series and it is always fun to visit Dream Harbor.

This series is just so cozy and cute and fun. And this book in no exception.

This was a very entertaining fake-dating situation with characters that are quite opposite of each other (and I do love me an opposites attract situation). And I always find it extra dramatic and interesting when it's to get back at an ex (that's what starts this whole story).

This did feel a bit flat at times, but I have the theory that it could be because this is the sixth book in the series. And there's only so much you can do to differentiate books in the same series after a point (especially in an interconnected standalone romance series).

Thanks to NetGalley for the e-ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review! My Goodreads review is up and my TikTok (Zoe_Lipman) review will be up at the end of the month with my monthly reading wrap-up.

It's a Laurie Gilmore novel, it was obviously going to be good! I love the yearning of the MMC for the FMC. How they both came out of broken relationships and thought they was something wrong with them and couldn't be worthy of being loved. There is something attractive about a shy MMC who blushes when compliments are given to him by the FMC. The fake relationship blossomed into a real relationship and not to mention the 20 year later epilogue and the fact they still can't get their hands off each other was chefs kiss! I enjoyed the Dream Harbor crew and how they were always there for each other and they kept letting the FMC know she didn't have a curse and ultimately her best friend finding her past customers who said them ending their marriage was a blessing. I liked how the spice was minimal and wasn't the center of the book but rather their past stories and their yearning for each other until they finally gave in to each other.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore is a gentle, fragrant novel that blooms slowly into a warm celebration of second chances, found family, and the small rituals that stitch a community together; Gilmore’s prose is tactile and sensory, full of petals, soil, and the quiet choreography of arranging blooms, and she uses the flower shop as both sanctuary and stage where characters reveal their vulnerabilities, reconcile past mistakes, and learn to trust again. The pacing favors mood and character over plot fireworks, which makes the book a soothing read for anyone who savors domestic detail and emotional realism rather than high drama; the central relationships—romantic and platonic—are handled with tenderness and restraint, giving the story an honest, lived‑in feel. If you enjoy novels that pair cozy settings with thoughtful explorations of grief, healing, and the small acts that rebuild trust, this is a comforting, hopeful choice that leaves you with the pleasant aftertaste of a long, leisurely afternoon spent among flowers.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I've read all the Dream Harbor books now and I have loved every single one of them. But, besides the amazing town and all the people who live there (I always think of Gilmore Girls!), this story and the reocurring characters was amazing! What I especially love is that even though this is a series (which you can read this book wihout having read the others), the books don't all follow the same formula. Each book has it's own unique plot and niche. This particular book had a bit of a historical mystery and I loved it!

In this book, Daisy is back in Dream Harbor after a failed engagement. She is back at her family's floral shop, living in the back tiny apartment. Not only does she feel like a failure, but the town thinks she is cursed and that any wedding she makes flowers for will also be cursed and fail. When he ex-fiance walks into her floral shop with his new fiance, she panics. When newcomer Elliot walks in, she panics and says they are dating. He goes along with it because he has a huge crush on her. But, they decide to keep fake dating to try and show that she isn't cursed. Daisy can't help but think that she might be cursed though. And when she uncovers a photo of her Great Aunt Daisy, who looks just like her, and finds her diary, it seems being cursed in love might be a family trait.

I loved this mystery element of this book and the family/historical connection. I loved Daisy and Elliot and loved all the characters from the other books popping in again too. I really hope there will be a book #7!

I have been so excited to go back to Dream Harbor, and this newest installment completely swept me off my feet. Laurie Gilmore captures everything I love about this series: the charm, the warmth, the gentle humor, and that comforting small‑town magic. She makes Dream Harbor feel like a place you can actually step into.

Daisy’s story is tender, fun, and full of heart. I adored the dynamic between her and Elliot, and the way their relationship unfolds made me smile the whole way through. This book feels like a bouquet of everything I love about cozy romance.

And the best part? There are a few hints about who might be getting the next story, and I am absolutely here for it. I already can’t wait to return to Dream Harbor again!

Thank you NetGalley for this arc.

I really enjoyed this book. I really needed something light hearted and fun after having my feelings hurt by the previous books I just finished.

I love a good fake dating trope and this one worked incredibly well. Add in a little family mystery and research, what could go wrong.

The dynamic between Daisy and Elliott, their personalities and banter were wonderful to read on page, I was cracking up quite a few times. I felt like the characters grew together the further the story went on. Although there were times I wanted to shake Daisy she finally figure it out on her own. This book is now closer to the top of my favorites.

This series might not be for everyone but for me personally I very much do enjoy them.

I loved this book. Laurie Gilmore is the reason I went back to reading and it started with this series, Dream Harbor series. This book has my favorite trope of fake dating, he falls first, found family and small town romance. It was a great palette cleanser. I enjoyed it and will be purchasing the book to add to my collection of this series. Thank you to NetGalley for giving me this ARC to read.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop was honestly such a good, feel-good read. It’s all about fate, trust, and figuring out your own path even when things don’t go how you planned. And being set in Dream Harbor (you already know I love it there) just makes it even better. The whole small-town vibe is cozy.

I loved how it wasn’t just light and fluffy there were so many funny moments, but also those quieter parts that actually make you stop and think. You really get to see Daisy grow and start trusting herself instead of just doing what she thinks she should do. It felt super relatable without being heavy.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this one if you want something heartfelt but still easy to read. It’s one of those books that leaves you feeling good but also kind of reflective after.

Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK & One More Chapter for this e-ARC copy of The Daisy Chain Flower Shop!

This was my very first trip to Dream Harbor after seeing these books all over social media, and it was the perfect read after back-to-back thriller titles.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop follows shop owner Daisy and new-to-town architect Elliot, who agree to fake date to save her flower shop’s reputation after Daisy is linked to two failed marriages through her work. This book was sweet, funny, and full of the small-town antics that make stories like this such a cozy read. Daisy and Elliot’s banter made it so easy to root for them as they worked through their pasts and found their way to each other.

After one visit to Dream Harbor, I’m already ready for more, especially after the cameos from previous couples in the series! I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of Laurie Gilmore’s books!

If I could make a wish and instantly be transported into a book, it would be to Dream Harbor, the fictional setting of the most delightful book series written by Laurie Gilmore. I’ve read multiple books in the series already and had the honor of reading an advanced copy of the most recent book in the series: THE DAISY CHAIN FLOWER SHOP. Dare I say this is my favorite so far?! In this book, we meet Daisy, the owner of the town’s beloved, yet cursed, flower shop. In an attempt to dismantle the idea that Daisy brings back luck to the brides that purchase flowers from her, she teams up with Elliot, the local architect, as part of a fake dating scheme that feels much more real than it should. This book was utterly delightful, wonderfully charming and even had some spicy romance inside. I felt a special connection to Daisy and the way she dug into her family history to better understand herself in the present moment and ended up learning quite the lesson alongside her. And it was a GOOD one. Oh, how I wish I could visit Dream Harbor in real life, but in the meantime, I’ll settle for visiting in my bookish dreams. =)

Laurie Gilmore does it again! The 6th book in the Dream Harbor series, The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is sweet, spicy, and full of hope.

This one centers around Daisy, owner of the flower shop and "cursed" - the mayor had a vision and a few newlyweds split after hiring her as their florist - and suddenly Daisy finds herself struggling to keep her family business open. Elliot, meanwhile, ran from his past to find an escape in Dream Harbor and ended up finding himself crushing on Daisy hard. When Elliot pops into her shop one day Daisy claims he's her boyfriend in a panic-induced spur-of-the-moment decision, and now their fate is sealed.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop follows the duo as they navigate fake dating, friendship, lust, love, fear, past relationships, and generational curses. It is a heartwarming story of the universe aligning to put two people together that are destined for true love.

As always, all the familiar faces of our other Dream Harbor friends and shopkeepers show up! It's cute to see their stories sprinkled throughout the book.

I quite enjoyed this one - I read it in a few hours on a perfect Spring day and it was lovely!

Thank you to Netgalley & Harper360 for the eARC of The Daisy Chain Flower Shop! 💖

I love Gilmore’s series. While there are a lot of series like this now, these are the most cozy and wholesome to me. I enjoyed Daisy Chain as the quintessential fake relationship trope along with the tie backs to past family members. The town’s quirky nature really comes out as Daisy tries to break her “curse” and I like the glimpses of life we get from past couples. It’s exactly what I needed to stop my reading slump.

Book 6 in the Dream Harbor series, The Daisy Chain Flower Shop, did not disappoint! It had everything you’d expect—fake dating, small-town charm, and that cozy, feel-good romance that makes you want to pack up and move to Dream Harbor. The characters were so likable, and the story had just the right touch of spice.

I absolutely loved Daisy and Elliot’s story—dare I say they might be my favorite couple of the series! That epilogue definitely has me wondering if this might be the end… but as long as Laurie keeps writing, I’ll keep reading!

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper 360 for an advanced e-reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Laurie Gilmore's The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is a delightful read! I love the fake dating trope, and Dream Harbor, one of my favorite fictional towns, guarantees a great story no matter the characters. I really connected with Daisy; it’s no wonder small-town gossip almost derailed her career. Elliot had me swooning...his infatuation was clear! The historical element, with them delving into Daisy's ancestors' journal entries, was a fantastic touch. Plus, getting updates on previous couples was a nice bonus. My only issue was the quick time jump in the epilogue; it felt like a series wrap-up, and I’m still eager to hear more about those couples, so it can't be over!

This is an ARC review. I want to thank Laurie Gilmore and Harper 360 for allowing me the chance to read this book ahead of release day! This series could have an infinite amount of books and I would still come back and read it each and every time! There’s just something special about the town of Dream Harbor!

And when I say there is something special I mean the town, it just makes you want to move there. Mostly to be on the gossip train and see what shenanigans my neighbors would get into on a weekly basis.

Daisy Scott is one of a long line of Daisy’s to own their flower shop. While Daisy is dubbed as being “cursed” what is not is her ability to express exactly how she feels is not! I love her ability to speak her mind and stand firm in her beliefs. Which I think also brought Daisy to Elliott’s radar.

Elliott Parker says “nothin sexier than a woman willing to fuss at the old biddies in the town hall meetings”! Elliott is (now) a go with the flow and very loyal kind of man! He provides stability Daisy has never known. While he is more of an insta love type man Daisy had to warm up to the idea of him being for real. Fake dating never ends well without catching feelings. Usually someone falls first and it was great to witness who was going to. Especially after solving the big family secret!

I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to my next adventure in Dream Harbor.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore is the perfect, cozy finale (or "see you later") to the Dream Harbor series.

This sixth installment delivers everything fans of the series love: quirkiness, heart, and a touch of magic. Daisy, the town florist, is a standout protagonist. Watching her navigate the "curse" on her shop—declared by the town’s eccentric mayor—while dealing with her own history of bad luck in love makes her incredibly relatable.

The chemistry between Daisy and Elliot, the shy and nerdy architect, is top-tier. Their "fake dating" arrangement is handled with such sweetness and maturity; I loved how they both supported each other through their past heartbreaks. The parallel story found in Daisy's great-aunt's journals added a beautiful layer of depth and history to the town that felt fresh and moving.

If you’re looking for a "he falls first" romance that feels like a warm hug (with just the right amount of spice), this is a must-read. It’s a 5-star trip back to the most charming small town in fiction.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is a cozy romantic mystery that leans heavily into familiar, comforting genre elements while offering a gentle exploration of second chances and unexpected love. Set in the small town of Dream Harbor, the story centers on Daisy, a florist haunted by a reputation for bad luck in love, and Elliot, a newcomer wary of anything that might bring more emotional upheaval into his life. Their meeting—sparked by necessity rather than fate—sets the stage for a slow-burn romance rooted in the well-loved fake relationship trope.
One of the book’s strengths lies in its setting and tone. The small-town atmosphere, complete with an eccentric mayor and returning side characters, creates a warm, interconnected world that fans of cozy romances will likely appreciate. Daisy’s flower shop functions not just as a workplace, but as a symbolic space for renewal and vulnerability, while the idea of a “cursed” business adds a light mystery element without overshadowing the romance. The found-family dynamic and emphasis on community help balance the romantic plot, giving the story emotional depth beyond the central love story.
That said, readers looking for major twists or genre subversion may find the narrative fairly predictable. The tropes—he falls first, fake dating, guaranteed happy ending—are executed competently but safely, clearly aiming to comfort rather than surprise. Character development appears to follow familiar arcs, and the tension stems more from emotional hesitation than external conflict.
Overall, The Daisy Chain Flower Shop delivers exactly what it promises: a cozy, trope-forward romance with charm, warmth, and a reliably satisfying conclusion. It’s likely to appeal most to readers who enjoy small-town love stories, gentle pacing, and romantic reassurance rather than high drama or complex mystery.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is another winner in the Dream Harbor saga! Daisy is our florist who, due to her own breakup history and a few failed marriages that she provided arrangements for, the town has framed cursed and has vetoed her shop for future weddings, inevitably hurting business. Enter Elliot- new to town, fated timing, and a desire to keep his family off his back- fake dating to real feelings to breaking a “generational curse” ensues.

I love this dream harbor series! I think it’s is one of my favorites! This one was sweet, charming, and just such a heartfelt read!

I absolutely loved these characters! Daisy is “unlucky in love” and ready to break the curse. Elliot is a down bad MMC who has been pining from a distance & is so smitten with her. This fake dating romance gave me all the giggly, cute vibes, while also mixing in some emotional aspects & the guarded side of both characters opening up to love again!

Laurie Gilmore just writes the most loveable stories & this one no different! The added spice was the perfect mix to make this book steamy yet so heartfelt! Absolutely recommend!!

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore

Rating: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 2/5 🌶️🌶️

Thank you to Harper 360, Netgalley, and the author for access to this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop, the sixth installment in the Dream Harbor series, is a super cozy, small town romance that is perfect from start to finish! A delightful return to Dream Harbor that is sweet and sentimental, previously featured couples make an appearance throughout as Daisy and Elliot embark on their journey together. An absolutely wonderful read and such a fantastic way to return to Dream Harbor!

Daisy thinks that she’s unlucky when it comes to love. Her flower shop has developed a reputation of being cursed after several weddings she has done the flowers for end in divorce. Elliot, a new arrival in Dream Harbor, has quietly been adjusting to his new life. With his family coming to town, Elliot finds himself heading to Daisy’s flower shop for the first time in need of some flowers. After a few unexpected moments, Daisy and Elliot find themselves in a fake relationship. But, as time goes on, they both begin to realize that there is nothing fake about their feelings for one another. A dual POV story, The Daisy Chain Flower Shop provides a heartfelt and cute story, while also highlighting how Daisy and Elliot work through their trauma from past failed relationships and discover what they’re truly looking for.

The entire Dream Harbor series is truly amazing and it’s so great to see how Daisy and Elliot’s journey plays out. The fake dating is done so well and the MCs communicate excellently with each other. Also, as always, all of the supporting characters are so great and the Town Hall meetings are super entertaining.

Overall, The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is so fun, sweet, and charming! With lots of small-town charm, romance, and tension, The Daisy Chain Flower Shop features a wonderful combination of he falls first, slow burn, and fake dating tropes to make an absolutely perfect read! A super cozy and heartwarming story!

Returning to Dream Harbor was like coming home. All of my favorite characters were there, not to mention Laurie Gimore managed to add a whole new trope to our little village.

Daisy and Elliot made me laugh, cry, and gnash my teeth at their foolishness. Really, Daisy made me want to smack her upside the head and tell her to get over herself. Just be happy!!

Elliot, on the other hand, is my new book boyfriend. I love his nerdy, history-loving heart. He is adorable, even if a little timid. He is equal parts hot and practical, which is very sexy.

I also would be remiss if I didn't mention the exact opposite personalities of Daisy and Elliot's families. Daisie's is a here-and-now kind of family that mostly doesn't believe in curses, but does believe that business is lousy at the Daisy Chain Flower Shop. Grandma is sassy and bold. Mom loves crystals and good energy. Elliot's family is neither sassy nor new-gen. They worry about him and tend to be a little too overprotective, but their hearts are in the right place.

I will never get tired of this cozy little burg. I hope there are more couples to come.

Just when I think I will stop I can’t help myself. Daisy and Elliot what a cutie patootie couple. I must admit I wasn’t sure at first where the author was going with the cousins thing but after I kept reading realized why, which you would have to read to understand. I loved as per usual the implementation of cute animal in the story I’m a sucker for it. The ending truly tied together the way this series was meant to be a Dream in the Dream Harbor Series. Loved every minute of it.

I want to give thanks to NetGalley and Harper 360 for letting me read this book in advance. And would like to give a shout out to the author whom I met once who asked if I had read the rest of the series and told her no at the time, now I can proudly say I did thanks for inviting us and me into your imaginative cozy little world.

I think this is my favorite so far. It’s so hard to pick now because I keep saying that about the latest book in this series. But wow, all the tropes here. Fake relationship, forced proximity, small town romance, etc. absolutely had it all. I enjoyed the whole story behind Daisy and her “curse”, it was entertaining how the town took it so seriously, but poor Daisy had to take matters into her own hands. Faking a relationship with the shy architect, Elliot was brilliant. I loved how they both have different past relationships but they are both similarly hurt and scared when it comes to love. I also loved how they compliment each other and as usual I love to see all the other characters. I will always keep on reading the books in this series.

I did enjoy reading this book in this series. Elliot and Daisy were a perfect touch to the Dream Harbor Series. I really enjoyed that their relationship grew and it got better. I did enjoy that they included another animal in this book as per the other ones too. It was a nice touch. At first I thought it was not going to work the beginning of the storyline but it did pick up. Therefore, I do recommend this book. However, I am glad I read every book in this series in the order of the books so I think the reader should too.

Thank you to NetGalley, and Harper 360 letting me read this arc before it came out. Of course a big shout out to Laurie Gilmore the author for writing this series.

This is a cozy small-town romance with light mystery elements, built around charming tropes and a slightly whimsical “cursed shop” premise 😊

I really liked Daisy as a lead—she’s frustrated but still hopeful, and I liked how the idea of her flower shop being “cursed” adds both humor and emotional stakes. It’s a fun twist on the usual unlucky-in-love storyline.

What I enjoyed most: the fake relationship + “he falls first” dynamic 💕
Elliot starts off wary because of the shop’s reputation, and I really liked how that hesitation slowly shifts into genuine interest—and then into something deeper before Daisy fully catches up. That dynamic gives the romance a soft, satisfying progression.

The small-town setting is exactly what you’d expect—in a good way. I liked the sense of community and returning characters, which makes everything feel interconnected and warm, especially with the found-family vibes layered in.

The “romantic mystery” angle is pretty light, but it adds just enough intrigue to keep things moving alongside the relationship.

If you love fake dating, small-town charm, cozy romance, found family, light humor, and low-stakes mystery with a guaranteed happy ending, this is sweet, comforting, and perfect for an easy, feel-good read 📖✨🌸

🌼 Every time I read a Dream Harbor book, I wish this small town were real! This time, along with falling in love with the cozy small-town vibes, Daisy and Elliot’s story makes it even sweeter. They’re one of my favorite couples, and their story is easy to fall in love with from page one.

🌼 Daisy and Elliot might be in a fake relationship—all in an attempt to end Daisy’s curse—but their chemistry is instant. They are so cute together. Elliot’s shyness paired with Daisy’s passion is the perfect match. Their relationship is entertaining and lovable, and while they both want to protect their previously broken hearts, their attraction to each other makes that nearly impossible.

🌼 If you’ve read the series, characters from previous books make appearances throughout the story. That said, this can absolutely be read as a standalone.

🌼 Personally, I recommend reading the entire series, but no matter what—definitely give this book a read! You’ll soak in all the happy vibes and probably find yourself wishing for fresh flowers to brighten your day. 🌼

Oh my goodness! This book was so cute. I love a nerdy hero and Elliot was so adorable. And Daisy is a somewhat black cat heroine that makes you laugh. Two opposites that accidentally find their happily ever after.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is a must read story that is the next installment of the Dream Harbor series by Laurie Gilmore. And what a wonderful and entertaining story. This might be my favorite of the series so far.

What happens when the shy and quiet, architect fake dates the towns flower shop owner, who is his complete opposite, well sparks start flying, cheeks start blushing and these two end up being soulmates. I loved every bit of it. Highly recommended.

Thank you to Harper 360 and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this title to read and give my honest review. The opinions expressed here are my own.
Is this one of my most highly anticipated books for 2026? Yes. Did I squeal a bit when I was approved to read this? Also, yes. Did it meet every expectation I had for Daisy and Elliot's love fest? It sure did!
Daisy is cursed. Or at least that is what it seems like since every wedding her flower shop has provided flowers for recently has ended in the couple breaking up. It doesn't help that she hasn't been able to keep hold of a relationship of her own. She feels doomed to forever carry around the dark cloud the mayor dreamed is over her shop. Enter Elliot. He's more than willing to play the fake boyfriend for Daisy to show she can be lucky in love and hopefully get her business back on track. But when pretend feelings start turning into something more reel, can either put aside their past failed relationships to see they could be happy together?
There is must something about Dream Harbor that makes me so happy. Gimore brings us into this fluffy romantic world with fun characters and back stories, plus a small town feel where everyone knows everything that's going on. It's so much fun to watch all these characters interact. It's fun to see characters from the previous books still so happy and spreading that joy to others. And it's really fun to watch a fake relationship grow and change and become something very real. Gilmore is always ready to give us the happily ever after we need, without the excessive drama you see in other romances. I love that she avoids the third act break up and just has the characters talk things out and be adult about it all.
As with the previous books in this series, the pacing is fast. The plot is easy to navigate and all the little things that happen along the way really lend to the entire story being told. I really enjoyed the historical back story as Elliot and Daisy found out more and more about their ancestors and the parallels in their relationship with Daisy's Great Aunt D and Elliot's relative, Nathan.
Gilmore continues to bring us a charming town with charming people and stories that are just the right side of fluff to keep you hanging on until the end to see the outcome. I love the eccentric towns people, the small town vibe, the local shops, and just about everything else Gilmore throws at me in these books. This story is cute and cozy and heart warming. I cannot wait to see what else Gilmore might bring us in this world!

Thank you NetGalley, Laurie Gilmore and Harper 360 for approving me to read The Daisy Chain Flower Shop. While I mainly read romantasy, the Dream Harbor series is one of my favorite small town romance series!

As mentioned above, I am a romantasy reader so sometimes I find regular romance books difficult to get into because they aren’t as action packed as romantasy is. But this series I have loved since the Pumpkin Spice Cafe was released.

This is your classic small town romance where everyone knows everyone and everyone knows eachothers history and business. This is a fake dating trope centered book which hasn’t been my favorite trope in the past but is starting to grow on me! I loved seeing the characters from past books return, seeing their lives change and grow.

Some tropes for The Daisy Chain Flower Shop include:
* Fake dating
* Small town romance
* Found family
* Family curse

One really nice thing is because of the style of writing and genre, it is an easy read which was nice considering I am reading 3 books at the same time. This was really sweet and had me giggling at times at the inner monologues the main characters had going at times. It was a nice change of pace to read something easier that didn’t require as much brain power or world building as romantasy.

The entire time I kept wanting to yell at Daisy and Elliot “just admit it!!” Until they finally did, and it was worth it!

I will say my favorite book in this series is still The Christmas Tree Farm. However, this book was still really good! These books can be read as standalones, you just won’t know the characters back stories when they are mentioned in conversation by the main characters. Either way, this was such a cute read and really great for introducing the spring vibes with all the flowers!

Reading this book felt like returning home. Daisy and Elliot are so sweet together. I’ve read every Dream Harbor book, and I really think Laurie Gilmore is determined to help everyone in Dream Harbor find their perfect match. This series has everything I want in a romance: a charming small town and characters I can root for.

Daisy felt like a real person to me. She’s working to move past the gossip about her shop’s curse, but she stays kind and hopeful. I liked how her personality balanced with Elliot’s steady and sweet nature. I especially love that he falls for her first, almost right away. Elliot’s feelings for Daisy were so tender, and watching him support her made their fake relationship seem genuine. The writing brings Dream Harbor to life. This is one of my favorite love stories yet.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper 360 for the opportunity to review and provide my honest feedback.

Daisy comes from a long line of Daisy’s. But unlike the others…she seems to be cursed becuase everyone who buys flowers from her for their wedding ends up divorced. Becuase of this her business is have some bad luck. Enter in Elliot. He has come to town to visit family and find himself after his own divorce. And now we have a fake relationship between a nerdy architect and a business owning florist. It was really very cute. It was good to see former couples and how they progressed. I love the heat falls first trope in this has it. It really was just a nice cozy. Small town read that was a great pallet cleanser. When you pick up a Laurie Gilmore book you know what you are going to get and I really appreciate that about her and her writing. I find these to be very addictive, 100% Bingeable. I read it in one sitting and couldn’t put it down. This was 100% what I needed. I really also enjoyed basically the journal entries and how that whole storyline progressed and how it impacted Daisy. It’s really I believe added just a little extra to the book that really brought it home for me.
I can’t wait to see what happens next and I have an idea what she might do.

Thank you so much to Harper 360 for the complementary copy of all thoughts and opinions are my own.

**The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore**

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is the kind of story that feels like stepping into a cozy, sunlit corner of the world where small moments carry the most meaning. Laurie Gilmore creates a setting that is instantly inviting, with a flower shop at its heart that becomes more than just a backdrop—it’s a place of healing, connection, and quiet transformation.

What makes this book especially charming is its focus on growth, both personal and emotional. The characters are layered in a way that feels genuine, each carrying their own past while slowly opening themselves up to new possibilities. There’s a gentle pacing to the story that allows relationships to develop naturally, making every shift feel earned rather than rushed.

The writing has a warmth to it that mirrors the themes of the book—community, second chances, and the beauty of starting over. It’s not overly dramatic, but it doesn’t need to be. Instead, it leans into sincerity, finding strength in everyday moments and the ways people show up for one another.

This is a comforting, feel-good read that still carries emotional depth. Perfect for when you want something hopeful, heartfelt, and quietly uplifting—like a fresh bouquet that brightens your day long after you’ve brought it home.

Dream Harbor is my happy place, and Laurie Gilmore’s writing is like a cozy, protective hug that will never let you down.

One day, I wish to come across a tiny town with adorably named shops on every corner.

Daisy is the world’s unluckiest florist. Carrying on the family business isn’t so easy when every occasion you cater for ends in tragedy. Weddings ending in divorce in a small gossip-fueled town with a self-proclaimed psychic for a mayor means that Daisy’s beautiful shop becomes the place to avoid in Dream Harbor.

So what better way to earn back the trust of the residents, by proving how utterly happy and in love she is herself?

Except, she’s not. Enter, one of the best tropes – fake dating.

Elliot is new to town, recovering from his own heartbreak when a certain florist catches his eye. But as someone who has had his fair share of bad luck, avoiding the unlucky florist is likely to be his best choice.

And in true small-town fashion, they are brought together, entering a fake relationship in the hopes of solving their problems.

Elliot is a walking green flag. Other than the slightly untruthful relationship that he agreed to, he maintains that swoon-worthy ‘if he wanted to, he would’ persona. And although a fake-dating trope is often predictable, there are a few plot-twists thrown into the mix.

I don’t want to include spoilers but... There was definitely an ever-so-slightly incestuous twist.

As always, Gilmore does not disappoint with her Dream Harbor series. It’s one of those series that I hope never ends, because the ease and comfort that it brings me is something that I struggle to find within any other book.

Highly recommend!

Thank you NetGalley and Harper 360 for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

I adored this addition to the Dream Harbor series. Daisy and Elliot are so sweet and seeing characters who have dealt with the trauma of heartbreak and have it affect their life choice, made for a believable push and pull. The setting of Dream Harbor always feels cozy, like coming back home. The plot with the great aunt was a little too on the nose, but was still a good addition. Can't wait for the next one!

This books was a well written cozy romance, with some good mild spicy scene. When Daisy started to get slightly annoying with hyper-fixating on the curse Gilmore was able to resolve the course of the story…but Daisy and Elliot were cute and it was a cute storyline. It was also fun to have familiar characters appear in Dream Harbor. It’s a lovely little town with wonderful characters!
This book was exactly what it was supposed to me and live story to remind readers love looks like different realities and to enjoy the coziness of the storyline

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is such a delightful addition to the series. The plot feels thoughtfully crafted, I liked the fake-dating trope. The sense of humor and chemistry that Daisy and Elliot have kept me smiling the whole time. Elliot in particular, is absolutely adorable. He has that perfect mix of charm and vulnerability that makes him impossible not to root for.

The romance felt a little bit like a slow burn, but pays off. The “spice” is not overwhelming, but definitely satisfying and well-placed within the story. Overall, this book is a great installment in the series. It delivers on heart, humor, and romance in a way that feels both comforting and exciting, and as always I loved seeing all the characters from dream harbor.

**TL;DR**: A lovely cozy romance in Dream Harbor.
**Source**: NetGalley, thank you so much!

**Plot**: Fake Dating develops into real feelings in this cute little story.
**Characters:** I always enjoy characters in Dream Harbor. Daisy and Elliot were very sweet but not the standout characters like we’ve had before.
**Setting:** Dream Harbor is my favorite romance setting. I wish we’d had a bit more of it in this one but I still loved what we had.
**Romance:** So CUTE! I love a cute blushing hero.

**Thoughts:**

The Dream Harbor series is such a delight. It’s a little cozy, small town romance series I always go too when I need something light, fun, and rewarding. Each book has a fun couple, it’s low angst, and its a guaranteed laugh. The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is no exception to this rule for me, coming as book six in the series.

While it doesn’t have the deepest or most intense plot I loved this. It’s was like having a little bouquet of daisies, just a happy fun time and a bright spot in my reading. Daisy is a delight. She thinks she’s cursed but she also isn’t overly negative about it, instead trying her best where she’s at. I also adored Elliot. I have a huge soft spot for a sweet hero who has it bad. Especially one who blushes easily. Just, give me more of those please.

This is another great installment into this series. If you’ve been reading the series, you have to continue for the adorable Elliot. And the little hint at our next couple has me very excited!

I need to start with the fact that Dream Harbor fully looked at Daisy, a woman arranging hydrangeas and minding her business, and collectively decided she is the problem. Not the couples. Not the deeply questionable men being married. No, it’s the bouquet. The bouquet is cursed. Lock her up. Ruin her Yelp reviews.

And the wildest part? Everyone just… accepts this. Like Mayor Kelly says “vision” one time and suddenly Daisy’s entire livelihood is hanging on vibes and superstition. I was screaming. I was also deeply entertained because this town continues to operate like a Hallmark movie written by people who have never met logic.

Daisy is out here fighting for her life, romantically and professionally, while carrying the emotional weight of every failed marriage in a ten-mile radius. Which, to be fair, is a lot to put on one woman who just likes flowers. She’s guarded, a little chaotic, and fully convinced she is doomed in love, which… same, but also babe, let’s unpack that in therapy instead of building an entire personality around it.

Then Elliot walks in, and I need you to picture the softest man alive. This man is shy. He blushes. He has glasses. He is an architect, which means he’s emotionally structured but romantically fragile. And when I say he falls first, I mean this man shows up already in love like he missed a meeting where he was supposed to pretend otherwise. He is down bad immediately.

The fake dating kicks off because Daisy needs to prove she’s not cursed and Elliot needs his family to stop treating him like a Victorian widow after his divorce. And honestly? This setup works. It’s clean. It’s believable. It doesn’t require anyone to lose brain cells to justify it, which is a huge win for fake dating as a trope.

But the real story here is the VIBES. These two are so soft with each other it’s almost aggressive. We’re talking lingering looks, shy smiles, accidental hand touches that feel like they should come with a background score. Elliot is out here worshipping Daisy like she hung the moon, while Daisy is like, “What if I ruin your life though?” on a loop.

And listen… I love Daisy, but she is fighting happiness like it personally offended her. The push-pull? Strong. The emotional whiplash? Also strong. Elliot is giving steady, patient, emotionally available king, and Daisy is zigzagging like she’s in a rom-com obstacle course she designed herself. At one point I wanted to gently grab her by the shoulders and say, “He likes you. You like him. Let’s not make this a full trilogy of denial.”

Elliot, meanwhile, is carrying this romance on his back like a man who read one self-help book and took it personally. He communicates. He shows up. He respects her fears without letting them completely derail things. It’s hot. Not in a “rip your clothes off” way, but in a “wow, emotional maturity is doing something to me” way.

There’s also this underlying family history with Daisy’s aunt and the whole “curse” situation, told through old diary entries, and I actually really liked that layer. It adds this quiet theme about inherited fear and choosing differently, which is deeper than this series usually goes. It just… doesn’t quite punch as hard as it could. It flirts with emotional devastation but ultimately chooses cozy safety instead. Which, to be fair, is very on brand.

And that’s the thing. This book is peak Dream Harbor. It’s charming. It’s easy. It’s full of nosy townspeople, returning characters, and that warm, slightly ridiculous small-town energy that makes you want to move there and also immediately leave because everyone knows your business.

But it also plays it safe. You can see every beat coming. The tension is gentle. The payoff is sweet but not explosive. It never fully spirals into chaos or emotional ruin, which I personally crave like a gremlin, but I respect the consistency.

By the end, I was smiling. Not crying, not screaming, not texting you in all caps at 2 AM, but smiling like I just watched a really good comfort movie I’ll probably rewatch on a random Sunday. 3.5 stars. Soft, cozy, a little emotionally repressed, and carried on the back of one shy architect who deserves the world.

Thank you to Harper 360 and NetGalley for the ARC, and for once again dropping me into Dream Harbor where the men fall first, the townspeople are unhinged, and apparently floristry is a high-risk profession.

As a Dream Harbor fan, I can only say I loved the addition of Elliot and Daisy to the collection. I appreciated that there was no third act breakup! “The Daisy Chain Flower Shop” is the next book in Laurie Gilmore’s Dream Harbour series. Daisy Scott is the current owner of her family’s flower shop. Elliot Parker is an architect specializing in historic renovation who recently moved to Dream Harbor. When Daisy’s ex-finance unexpectedly visits her shop, she quickly pulls in Elliot’s help as her fake boyfriend. They decide to continue their fake relationship to help Daisy fight a supposed curse to her flower shop and to help Elliot deter his mother’s concerns over his love life. What will it take to make their fake relationship become real?

I thoroughly enjoyed this next story in the town of Dream Harbor. Both main characters have had problems in their pasts and I like that they take turns supporting and encouraging each other. I also like how this book looks into the history of the Daisy Chain Flower Shop, and Dream Harbor, and how it relates to the present day shop. We get glimpses of the lives of characters from the previous books and this is something that I enjoy very much. Each book stands alone and can be read in any order but they do build on each other. Readers will get the most enjoyment and understanding of Dream Harbor by reading the books in the order they were published. Anyone who likes fake dating tropes and romance should read this book.

I wish to thank Harper 360 for the complimentary eARC of this book and for selecting me to review it on NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore was such an enjoyable, comforting read. I really loved this one.

I especially loved the dynamic between Daisy and Elliot. Their relationship felt easy and natural, with a nice balance of warmth and tension that made it fun to follow. Elliot falling first was a highlight for me, and I appreciated how their connection developed in a way that didn’t feel rushed.

The small-town atmosphere added to the cozy feel, and I always enjoy the sense of community Laurie Gilmore brings into her books.

This might be my favorite in the Dream Harbor series. I just loved Daisy and Elliot.

They have such a sweet and innocent love going on. I loved that their favorite thing to do together was dig i to Daisys family history.

We got to watch them grow together and the epilogue had me teary up because Elliot and Daisy are so sweet and I loved that we got 20 years later.

I could not put it down. Laurie Gilmore did a wonderful job fleshing out these characters. I wanted to root for them (and I did) and while some choices were questionable I still liked seeing how things worked out in the end. This one exceeded my expectations. Who can say no to a fake dating romance set in quirky Dream harbor with all the characters we’ve come to know and love.

In my opinion this novel stands out from the others in the series. It’s fairly slow burn and I really enjoyed watching the curse storyline play out. The research, diary entries and marketing. Elliot is beyond supportive and such a lovable character. He’s one of the good ones.

The only thing that’s missing for this to be a five star read is better communication. It’s not a dealbreaker so all in all 4 stars from me.

Daisy Chain Flower Shop was such a cozy, heartwarming return to Dream Harbor, and I think Daisy and Elliot might officially be my favorite couple in the series. There’s something so quietly compelling about the way their relationship unfolds—rooted in vulnerability, patience, and a shared willingness to grow.
I especially loved how their story tied into their historical relatives. That thread added a layer of depth that made the romance feel bigger than just the present moment, almost like fate had been nudging them together across generations. It gave their connection a sense of meaning that lingered even after I finished the book.
Watching both Daisy and Elliot evolve—individually and together—was incredibly satisfying. Their growth felt earned, not rushed, and it made their eventual emotional payoff all the more rewarding.
And I have to mention the library scenes. The fact that they hid away together to research? Absolutely swoon-worthy. As someone who has a soft spot for libraries, I felt that detail was written just for me. There’s something so intimate about quiet, shared spaces, and those moments captured that perfectly.
This book struck such a lovely balance between romance, personal growth, and a touch of history. Dream Harbor continues to feel like a place I want to return to again and again.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore.

This story felt like settling into something warm and familiar.

Set in a small coastal town, the book leans into a cozy, comforting atmosphere—filled with a close-knit community, a touch of whimsy, and a quiet sense of charm that carries through every chapter. The writing is gentle and easy to move through, making it the kind of read you can sink into without effort.

At its heart, this is a soft, character-driven romance. The connection between the main characters unfolds gradually, built on small moments rather than big, dramatic turns. It’s less about intensity and more about emotional steadiness—trust, vulnerability, and finding your footing again.

There’s also an underlying theme of healing that runs throughout the story. It doesn’t feel heavy, but it adds depth beneath the lighter, cozy surface. The balance between warmth and emotion is where this book quietly stands out.

If you’re looking for something fast-paced or high-stakes, this may feel a bit gentle. But if you’re drawn to small-town settings, soft slow burns, and stories that feel like a quiet exhale, this fits beautifully.

Dream Harbor does it again—this series is pure comfort for me, and I was so excited to jump back in.

Daisy and Elliot’s fake relationship turns into something soft and real in the best way. She’s a little guarded, he’s shy and steady, and together they just work. Elliot especially stole my heart—quiet, thoughtful, and completely devoted.

I loved the added layer of family history and the sweet second-chance thread woven in—it gave the story extra depth without losing that cozy vibe.

With all the small-town chaos, lovable side characters, and heart-melting moments, this was such a warm, feel-good read. I’m already ready to go back to Dream Harbor again.

Book 6 of the Dream Harbor series - so good just like all of the others in this series. This one started out just a bit slow for me, but quickly picked up.

This one is about Daisy, who is the owner of the flower shop in town. Daisy has been in love multiple times, but it has just never worked out. And to make things even worse, there's now a rumor going around town that her flower business is cursed, so no one is buying flowers from her, and her business is struggling. Elliott moves to town after a breakup, and meets Daisy. She talks him into "fake dating", and he thinks it should be fine since they've both sworn off love for good.

Every romance series needs a strong fake-dating trope, and Daisy and Elliot’s story delivers it beautifully. The tension of two people falling for each other while wondering if the feelings are real is heightened by their individual struggles with past relationships. Though the town of Dream Harbor is charmingly over-the-top and kitschy, the characters feel believable and relatable.

Gilmore has created a cozy romance series set in this quirky small town, complete with nosy neighbors and quaint shops. It perfectly captures the vibe of idealized small-town stories from Hallmark movies. Whether you love them or enjoy poking fun at their unrealistic charm, this series is highly enjoyable.

My only real criticism is that both Daisy and Elliot seemed to appear out of nowhere at the end of the previous book. Despite the author providing backstories to compensate, it feels like their romance wasn’t planned from the start, even though the town’s shops were already established as part of the series. After hearing the author in an interview, it seems she writes organically rather than plotting the entire series in advance, which can lead to slightly awkward character introductions. This is especially noticeable with Elliot, who has supposedly lived in Dream Harbor for a year and a half, yet no one seemed to know he existed until now.

The cutest spring shop in Dream Harbor has arrived!

Elliot and Daisy.

Daisy’s beautiful shop “The Daisy Chain Flower Shop” has been in the family for decades. Maybe even a century. Passed down to each woman in the family, but after Daisy took over- the store slowly went down hill. And all because of “the curse”

Elliot has never seen someone so pretty. Finding himself led to the flower shop, Elliot becomes interested in its owner. He saw her move back to town, and now he wants to know her secrets.

Will the curse affect Elliot and Daisy? Or will they break the curse that plagues the town?

Elliot will have you blushing along with him. Daisy will have wanting to delve deeper into the family history. They both have you screaming and giggling and swooning.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins 360 for the ARC of The Daisy Chain Flower Shop! It was so good to be back in Dream Harbor. For Spring and Summer and back again we go. Thank You!

I loved returning to Dream Harbor! I’d move there in a heartbeat if I could.

This one is such an easy, feel-good read. The fake dating trope is done in a fun, low-drama way, Elliot is very much giving “he falls first,” and the whole story has that warm, small-town charm. It’s not super heavy on plot, but it’s perfect if you’re looking for something soft, romantic, and comforting.

This story really made me pause and reflect on how a past unhealthy relationship has shaped the way I live my life now. I love when a book connects so deeply to real-life emotions.

This was another sweet story in the Dream Harbor series. This follows Daisy and Elliot as they create a fake romance (but is it?) in order to end rumors of a curse on her flower shop.

The story was sweet, funny and a bit relatable; of course dream harbor is idyllic, real life’s isn’t, but that’s what makes this a fun book to drift away into.

Flowers, small town festivals, gossip, love, characters we’ve gotten to know before & there’s even a puppy, what more could a reader ask for?

It was now Daisy November’s turn to be handed the keys to the Daisy Flower Shop. Her mother is semi-retiring and Daisy has to come up with ways to keep the shop afloat. There was a rumor that started in Dream Harbor and now Daisy is suffering financially because of this rumor turned curse. The curse was that when she does the flower arrangements for people’s weddings that they end up in divorce so she has been doing funerals instead.

Themes/Tropes: Second chances, found family, fake dating, close proximity, small town

Daisy and Elliott’s love story is the last of the Dream Harbor series and I’m quite sad that it is the end. I’ve enjoyed all the books and how interconnected it was and how other characters made cameos. Daisy and Elliott’s second chance love story was cute, very black cat and golden retriever energy. I loved the epilogue! I’m sad that I will not read about Jeannie and Logan, Hazel and Noah, Kira and Bennett, Archer and Iris, and lastly Annie and Mac.

Thank you NetGalley, Harper Collins and Laurie Gilmore for an advanced reader copy!

Thank you Harper360 for the eARC!

This was a overall a really fun read & felt on par with the rest of the Dream Harbor series, cute, cozy & charming! Laurie does small-town so well and Daisy Chain Flower Shop was no exception. I loved Daisy and Elliot's meet cute? Meet cursed? The cameos from the previous couples was a really lovely touch, too! I loved the dual POV and knowing who the narrators are, I'm really looking forward to listening to the audiobook when it's out.

The idea of the generational curse, going back and reading diary entries, etc was enticing but overall fell flat for me. The end of this book wrapped the series up nicely, assuming that this is the last book in the series. I wish the epilogue would've given us a glimpse of *all* the couples down the line.

This book is a great addition to the Dream Harbor series. This book was such a cute and heartwarming story that kept me engrossed from the first chapter to the last. The characters were charming and their fake relationship was the perfect trope for these two. Daisy and Elliot and a little Beltrane magic were a good mix. Enjoyed getting a few pop ins from characters from the other books in this series.

Daisy & Elliot 5 ⭐️’s. Ok yall know Dream Harbor has my heart. & I thought I would not love this one as much just because we knew pretty much nothing about Elliot (which is explained), however I loved it so much. I think I resonate with Daisy, not because she thinks she is cursed but because of all the black she wears and just how she is. I also love that Elliot is not your average MMC. He is a nerd at heart and is not ashamed to show it and I love it. I love both of the character developments and also the yearning. Omg! The yearning they have for each other and the sexual tension is so good. Now if you are not one for slow and I mean SLOW burns then this one might not be for you. But I highly suggest you give it a chance because it is so worth it. Plus you do get some spice, while we wait for the gusto and it was also so romantic and hot. Talking about the spice, I loved that it was not over done, it took nothing from the plot and just added to it. It was well thought out and made sense for how their relationship develops. There is also a little bit of mystery thrown in and superstitions, I just loved it. My hopelessly romantic heart loved every minute of this one!

If you’ve been loving the Dream Harbor series as much as I have, this one absolutely keeps the streak alive. There’s something so comforting about these books, they’re easy to sink into, the plots are never overcomplicated, and I never feel like I’m working overtime just to keep up. It’s the kind of series you pick up knowing you’re about to have a good time.
We all knew there was going to be something brewing between Daisy and Elliot from the wedding in the previous book, and this story delivered exactly what I was hoping for. Their romance felt genuine and authentic from start to finish. Nothing about their relationship felt rushed or forced, which made it so much easier to root for them. The slow build made their connection feel natural and believable, instead of insta-love chaos.
For fans of fake dating, small-town romance, and cozy, feel-good love stories, this is such a fun read. Dream Harbor continues to be one of those series I can count on for comfort, charm, and romance that just works.

Overcoming romantic failures is hard enough for Daisy without being branded as a romantically cursed florist in a small town. Losing business because of it makes the situation worse. Enter Elliot, a newcomer to town with his own romantic problems, who agrees to be her fake boyfriend to break the curse. Will they or won't they succumb to the mutual attraction that they both deny? The narration moves this amusing and relatable story to a satisfying climax in more ways than one.

Sometimes we just need a happy escape to our favorite little cozy romantic New England town where dreams always come true. 💐💞 I think I’ve said this before, but get ready for the best one yet!

What could be more charming than an ancestral line of Daisies owning The Daisy Chain Flower Shop? And Elliot, the nerdy architect in town to help renovate the Inn? They truly are the sweetest. So unlucky in love in the past, resigned to expecting that forever, even. Good thing Dream Harbor doesn’t work that way 🤭

This book was swoon-city, I don’t even care how cheesy it is. If you’ve liked any of the other books in this series, you’ll for sure eat this one up too. I’m a little jealous of people who get to start from the beginning and read then all for the first time without waiting!

Now, what could be next? Pet shop maybe😻?

Many many thanks to Harper 360 for the digital ARC 🙏

Daisy thought it was bad enough that the town says her flower shop is cursed. But now her ex is in town, engaged and looking for a venue, and she needs a fake boyfriend...fast. Elliott just happened to be in the shop, shocked that his crush even knew his name, and even more shocked that she says they're supposedly dating. But his mom has been on his case lately too get back out there after his divorce so fake dating could be the perfect fix... if he can keep his feelings out of it!
I've fallen more in love with this little town with every book. Elliott is the adorably shy, nerdy hot architect who spews historical facts when he's nervous, so the little mystery of Daisy's great aunt was perfect to bring them together. The story is a perfect blend of humor, charm, and spice and I'm so looking forward to the next book. Elliott's charmingly tongue-tied brother Caleb and the town vet? Yes please!

I loved it, probably one of my favorites of the series. I love the mystery that it has the past that it brings into. I especially LOVED Elliot. He’s such a cutie patootie and a MAN! Daisy pissed me off so much. She is lucky that I loved Elliot enough to give this book a high rating. She pissed me off so much that I feel like she doesn’t deserve Elliot. I can’t wait to hear it on audiobook.

I gave The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore 4 stars and honestly… you had me at fake dating.

Who doesn’t love that trope? Add in a curse and I’m immediately locked in. It’s cozy, a little chaotic, and exactly the kind of escapist read I want to sink into.

That said, The Gingerbread Bakery is still my favorite of the series so far, it just hit a little harder for me, but this is a very close second.

Overall, such a fun, charming read with just the right amount of romance and whimsy.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is a heartwarming, cozy small-town romance with Hallmark vibes, a touch of mystery, and all the feels. It’s also a wonderful wrap-up to the series. This story is well-paced, with a fun setting, great town interactions, and a charming flower shop backdrop that really brings Dream Harbor to life.

I loved Daisy and Elliot together—their chemistry was sweet and natural, and I was rooting for them from the start. I especially enjoyed the fake-dating dynamic and watching their relationship slowly develop as they opened themselves up to love again. Elliot supporting Daisy as she digs into her family history was one of my favorite parts, and the way he stood firmly in her corner made him incredibly swoon-worthy.

I absolutely love this series, and this is definitely one of my favorites in the Dream Harbor series. It’s a perfect feel-good read with found family vibes, returning characters, and a guaranteed HEA. I highly recommend picking this one up.

Thank you to Laurie Gilmore, NetGalley, and HarperCollins for the ARC.

Review of Advance Copy Received from NetGalley

Their relationship may have started off as fake...but something very real was growing.

Oh my GOSHHH!!! This story spoke to my soul at the PERFECT time.

I related so much to Daisy, she absolutely broke my heart within the first two chapters of this book. I really saw myself and my feelings within her. Laurie Gilmore did an amazing job capturing the feelings of going through life after a breakup with someone you felt like was your forever.

Reading this truly gave me hope that someday someone will see me for all I am the way that Elliot sees Daisy for all that she is. I absolutely recommend this book anyone who needs a reminder that they are worthy of love no matter how “cursed” they feel.

Super cute Dream Harbor installment. It's like a nice little hug and a warm cup of cocoa, although maybe it's more like an iced tea since we're getting into the summer months.

While the plot was predictable, it was still a good book and I for one enjoyed that there was no crazy miscommunication breakup. They just got together and grew together and I just love Goldie! I also appreciated Gabe and Jack. Enjoyed Iris and the baby, made me smile as we call my besties grandson Little Man ❤️

I hope that Dr V and Caleb are next.

If I’m being honest, I didn’t think anything in this series could top The Gingerbread Bakery, but The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore comes very close and has easily claimed my second favorite spot.

Daisy is part of a long line of Daisies, but her streak of bad luck in love has cost her dearly; especially when it comes to her wedding flower business. Thanks to the mayor’s dream, the town has basically decided she’s cursed, which only adds to the pressure she’s already under. Things spiral even more when her ex fiancé shows up, asking about hosting his wedding in Dream Harbor. Enter Elliot, who steps in as her fake boyfriend.

I absolutely loved Elliot. He’s been through his own struggles, but he’s such a perfect match for Daisy. They both have emotional walls to work through, but Elliot is a yearner in the best way; completely and utterly besotted. I adored how he realized his feelings and then gave Daisy the time and space she needed to catch up, instead of rushing her.

I don’t usually gravitate toward fake dating, but it was done so well here. If you love fake dating, “he falls first,” and a soft man with “slutty little glasses,” this book will absolutely deliver!

Thank you to Laurie Gilmore and Netgalley for an arc in exchange for my honest opinions.

This has been such a fun series, but this one was hands down my favorite Dream Harbor book so far!

Daisy is trying to save her family’s flower shop, but the town thinks she’s cursed—after two failed relationships and two weddings ending badly, no one wants Daisy doing their flowers. When her ex suddenly shows up with his fiancée, Daisy panics and asks Elliot, the sweet and shy guy in her shop, to pretend to be her boyfriend.

And Elliot was the absolute best—kind, nerdy, awkward in the sweetest way, and carrying his own heartbreak from a failed marriage. Watching these two work through their pasts and slowly open up to each other made this such a heartfelt, cozy read.

I loved the chemistry, the emotional growth, and all the wonderful side characters that make Dream Harbor such a fun place to visit. Elliot’s family was especially adorable, and now I’m already hoping for his brother’s story next!

This one was cozy, sweet, emotional, and impossible not to love—I absolutely adored it.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore is a cozy, heartwarming romance that wraps you up in small-town charm, comfort, and the kind of gentle love story that feels like a deep exhale. Centered around a flower shop full of warmth, community, and second chances, the story blends soft, emotional moments with a sweet, slow-burn romance that’s easy to sink into.

All of Gilmore’s books are incredibly cozy and warm, and that signature comforting vibe really shines here again. Cinnamon Bun Bookstore had always been my favorite in the series, but this one has officially stolen the crown for me. It just has that extra spark of emotional depth and charm that made me love it even more, while still giving all the cozy, feel-good feelings I expect from her stories.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore — ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book feels like a cozy little escape filled with charm, warmth, and just the right amount of romance. I picked it up for the small town setting and fake relationship trope, and it delivered such an easy, feel good story. Daisy’s “cursed” flower shop and Elliot’s reluctance to tempt fate made their first interactions fun and a little awkward in the best way.

What I liked most was how their relationship slowly grew from something fake into something real, with plenty of sweet moments along the way. The small town vibe and found family elements added a comforting layer that made it easy to get lost in. It is a bit predictable, but that is part of the appeal and what makes it so satisfying. I would recommend this to anyone who loves cozy romances with lovable characters, light drama, and a guaranteed happy ending.

Such a cutie little book! I’ve read other books by the author and this one has to be one of my absolute favorites!

I adored Daisy and Elliot’s characters so much! They were so sweet and had me giggling at my screen the whole time.

The premise of the story was also very interesting! I loved the way it was so easy to get lost in it. I devoured this book pretty quickly and absolutely enjoyed it!

I’m such a sucker for fake dating so this was right up my alley, however there’s other micro tropes such as:

- small town
- he falls first
- spicy
- found family
- sexy lil glasses for the mmc
- very chismosa town

I absolutely loved this book and cannot wait to reread it!

I adore the Dream Harbor series, and The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is yet another episode in this sweet, kinda spicy romance series. After reading, Daisy and Elliot are two of my favorite characters from the town, and their story was so much fun to read. One of my favorite things about the series is the return of all of my favorite characters from previous novels, though as always each book can be read as a standalone.

I am not always a big fan of the fake dating trope, but in this story it did not seem so far-fetched as usual. Both Daisy and Elliot had decent reasons for needing to present as attached, and also reasons for not wanting a real relationship; it made sense to me. I do love the 'he falls first' trope, and 'found family' is an absolute guarantee that I will enjoy reading, probably why I love these books as Dream Harbor feels like one big family after the first novel.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series, and was eagerly predicting who might be the next couple who get their own story told. Thank you to Netgalley and Harper 360 for the digital ARC of The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore. The opinions in this review are my own.

Just finished reading an advanced copy of a book that is about to be released on May 5th called, The Daisy Chain Flower Shop. This is about Daisy and she has had terrible luck when it comes to love, the small town of Dream Harbor actually thinks Daisy and her flower shop are "cursed". And it's to the point she is struggling to pay the bills from lack of business. When Daisy's ex-fiancé pops into the shop with his new fiancé, talking about their upcoming wedding, Daisy needs someone to save her from this nightmare. Into her shop walks Elliot. He is a newer Dream Harbor resident who has kept to himself, but he hasn't been able to keep his eyes off Daisy since the first time he saw her. So when she proclaims he is her boyfriend, silently begging him to play along, he accepts the role as fake boyfriend to help her out and in hopes of getting to spend some time with Daisy. Before they know it the whole town thinks they're together and are saying that Daisy in love could break her "curse". So they decide to continue pretending to be a couple, because this could be what saves her business. Neither Daisy or Elliot want a real relationship, they've both been hurt in the past and are still trying to heal. But a fake relationship can't stay fake when real feelings begin to develop.
This is book 6 in the Dream Harbor series, and I always adore these books! They give Stars Hollow/Hallmark vibes, but with spice! I loved Daisy and Elliot's story! These two started out afraid of love and full of trauma from past relationships, but as their friendship grew they leaned on each other and helped each other heal, and then found the happiness and love they each deserved! I loved the mystery thrown in with the old photographs and diary, I enjoyed that story unfolding within this story. I was just so happy to be back in Dream Harbor again, and I always love getting to see how characters from previous books are doing! I didn't want this book to end! 💛📚

The Dream Harbor series has become a comfort read for me and I'm so glad we're back for Book 6!

After a divorce and failed engagement, Daisy has grown weary of love and decided to dive into her flower shop. Unfortunately, things start going downhill for Daisy's flower shop when the last few weddings she provided flowers for ended in divorce. Dream Harbor residents grow fearful that Daisy might be cursed and her flowers might be disastrous for happily ever afters. In an effort to fix her reputation and save her business, Daisy recruits newcomer Elliot to help her distract the town from her supposed curse. Elliot has been trying to rebuild his life in Dream Harbor after a messy divorce. His arrangement with Daisy might be the thing that helps get his family off his back about him rebuilding his life. What could possible go wrong?

This was such a cozy and lighthearted read with a touch of mystery! I really appreciated Daisy's character and her efforts to navigate the pressures of her family's legacy flower shop while trying to not get lost in it. The mystery around her great-aunt was intriguing and had me questioning a potential curse along with the characters. Elliot was such a goof and I absolutely loved how chaotic his internal energy was while somehow managing to present as a composed and fully centered man. It was sweet seeing Daisy and Elliot try to figure out the dynamics of their fake-relationship while also wrestling with their growing internal affection for each other.

Can't wait for the next book in the series! Keeping my fingers crossed it's a certain person's brother and the town vet! Hehe

Quick Summary: A sunshine & flowers, fake dating a good guy romance

My Review: The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore is book #6 in the Dream Harbor series. This installment was released on 5/5/26.

About the Book: "The greatest love is the one you never expected to find...

Daisy is fed up with being unlucky in love...has gained a reputation of being cursed...

Elliot, has been adjusting to town life following his own relationship turmoil.

...with his family coming to visit, Elliot finds himself reluctantly in front of Daisy’s store...

Daisy and Elliot might find that love comes when you’re least expecting it…"

In My Own Words: Isn't it funny how the people, places, and things you least expect end up being the most rewarding? Such is the case of Daisy and Elliot. For their special partnership is so wrong, it's right...in the sweetest (and spiciest) way.

My Final Say: This book brings about a smile, a laugh, and an aww attitude. It is a cozy romance with a bit of a hot streak thrown in, for good measure; it just about melts the pages with its heat. Chemistry, you say?! (lol) Daisy and Elliot are adorable together...and if I didn't already mention, they have some electrical charges zing-zapping between them.

The conflict in this book is light and dare I say entertaining. All in all, this story makes me want to go back and re-read this entire series. It is worth the investment of time. (Also, I would be totally fine continuing with these cozy cutes.) Small town charm for the win!

From the Publisher: The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is a cozy romantic mystery with a fake relationship dynamic, a small-town setting and a HEA guaranteed.

Tropes:

Dream Harbor is my favorite town to live in.

Fake dating trope is also one of my FAVORITES.

The insta like/love right after starting their fake dating is what brought my rating down by 1 star, but that is also a personal opinion.

Daisy and Elliot are so sweet and cute and perfect and vulnerable in the best way. Both with past they are letting hold then hostage.

I love the banter and the vibes the most. Like every Laurie Gilmore book, you'll find yourself wanting to come right back to Dream Harbor

First of all, thank you SO much to Harper Collins and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book. I adore the Dream Harbor series & Laurie Gilmore so this was a dream come true for me!!

I was a little surprised myself, but I think Daisy and Elliot’s story may be one of my favorites of the Dream Harbor series. There was so much yearning (from both sides), and I loved seeing these two characters work through their feelings. We had lots of cameos of the og couples, and this was a wonderful way to continue the story of Dream Harbor with new characters!! Laurie can do absolutely no wrong & I’ll be begging for 5 more books at this point.

Daisy runs the local flower shop and is skittish about love after having been ditched by her fiance last year. It doesn’t help that the town thinks that she and the flower shop are cursed, meaning that she’s losing business. And when her ex-fiance comes to her shop with his new fiance, she quickly grabs Elliot and pretends they’re in a relationship. He’s also slighting dinged from love after his wife left him, but he’s got a huge crush on Daisy, so he quickly plays along. And then we start a full-blown fake relationship in hopes that the town will think Daisy isn’t cursed anymore and actually start buying flowers from her shop. Cute and a little messy, plus we get a fun little mystery of a great aunt who looks just like Daisy.

Hear me out... but The Daisy Chain Flower Shop might just be one of my favorites within the Dream Harbor series. Or maybe it was just the right book at the right time. Either way, I loved it!

This story follows Daisy Scott, a florist convinced her family shop is cursed, and Elliot Parker, a shy and geeky newcomer architect. Their fake-dating scheme to ward off small-town gossip was exactly the kind of cozy, forced-proximity fun I needed.

The main characters were just so honest and vulnerable. Watching them navigate their shared "unlucky in love" status while trying to deny their real feelings was both sweet and grounding. As the final book in the series, it felt like the perfect culmination of everything I’ve loved about Dream Harbor and its quirky residents.

I especially enjoyed the hint of magic and history/ancestry as Daisy digs into her family’s past to break the supposed curse. It all wrapped up in a sweet happily-ever-after that left me with a huge smile. If you’re looking for a cozy, "Stars Hollow" vibe to end the series, this is it!

4.5 stars, overall.

Synopsis:

he greatest love is the one you never expected to find

Review:

Laurie Gilmore.....I will always love you. You have become one of my favoite authors in the short amount of time since I've started reading your stories. They've always felt like home to me and I was so honored to have recieved this arc!

Now for the review!!

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is the cozy, floral escape I didn’t know I needed this spring! 🌸✨

Laurie Gilmore takes us back to the quirky world of Dream Harbor for book six, and the vibes are just as immaculate as ever. We follow Daisy, the town florist who is convinced she’s "love-cursed," and Elliot, the shy, nerdy architect who is just trying to find his footing after a rough divorce. When a fake-dating scheme is hatched to save the shop’s reputation, things get complicated (and adorable) very quickly.

What I Loved:

The Tropes: "He falls first" combined with "fake dating" is a top-tier duo, and the chemistry here is so sweet it’ll give you a toothache.

The Lore: I loved the addition of the old family journals. Digging into the history of the flower shop and Daisy’s ancestors gave the story a lot more weight and heart.

The Community: Returning to Dream Harbor feels like a warm hug. Seeing past characters pop in makes the world feel so lived-in and real.

The "Critical" Take:
I’m going with 4 stars because the "curse" subplot felt a little repetitive at times—Daisy's hesitation to trust her feelings based on the town's superstitions felt a bit stretched in the middle. I also found myself wishing for a little more diversity in the character descriptions to help differentiate the couples as the series grows!

Bottom Line: If you want a low-stress, high-charm romance that feels like a Hallmark movie with a pinch of spice, this is it. It’s a perfect standalone, but you'll likely want to go back and read the rest of the series immediately!

Daisy came from a long line of Daisy’s who ran the local flower shop in Dream Harbor. And somehow this multigenerational business was failing due to Daisy’s curse for breaking up relationships. Not only had multiple couples divorced after using her flowers for their weddings, but Daisy herself was cursed: One failed marriage followed by a failed engagement. And she’s fed up with being unlucky in love…

Anyone already a fan of Laurie Gilmore knows what they’re getting into. But for those of you who aren’t, the Dream Harbor series follows residents in the small town as they navigate through life and love. All of the stories are interconnected, but you can read any of the books as a standalone.

I really love the Dream Harbor series, and every book I’ve read thus far has always been so pleasant and nice a break from everyday life. They’re always so easy to read and I get through them in a couple days. This one is my favorite so far. I don’t know if it’s the setting, the characters, Goldie (it’s probably Goldie), but I really liked everything about it. It also got me excited thinking about the next books in the series. Laurie Gilmore has such a way about pairing the books with the holidays, and this is the perfect segue from spring into summer.

The entire Dream Harbor series by Laura Gilmore is such a cozy, feel good series that always hits just right, and The Daisy Chain Flower Shop was no exception!!!

I absolutely loved the Fake Dating trope in this one, I seriously cannot get enough of it (it's my fav)! The mystery aspect added such a fun layer to the story and kept me so invested the entire time. Elliot was the perfect book boyfriend and I absolutely adored Daisy! Their chemistry was so sweet and made this story impossible to put down.

One of my favorite things about returning to Dream Harbor is getting to catch up with the town and all the characters along the way. Every installment feels like coming home and this one was no different. Cozy, charming, romantic, and fun... this series continues to be an absolute favorite for me!

If you're looking for a cozy, charming romance with small-town vibes, fake dating, and a love story that feels like it blossoms so naturally, then you need to read this one. Daisy and Elliot's story was sweet, warm, and exactly the kind of feel-good read that makes you want to curl up and stay in Dream Harbor a little longer.
What made this book so special was how comforting it felt while still giving just enough romantic tension to keep me hooked. The small-town setting added so much charm, and the dynamic between Daisy and Elliot made the whole story even more enjoyable. It was sweet, fun, and such an easy book to fall into.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore
My Rating: ★★★★

This was a cute and heartwarming fake dating romance! I loved the storyline and how Daisy had taken over the flower shop and was doing everything she could to make it successful. I loved the meddling townspeople, like in previous stories and I enjoyed the glimpses of characters from previous stories in the series as well.

The two main characters were a perfect fit and I enjoyed their story. The curse that was hanging over the shop drug on a little too much and was a bit exaggerated for my taste. Thankfully the story overall had a sweet feel good vibe to it which I loved.

There is nothing like a cozy read to get summer started. I really wasn't sure there was more we could explore in this town but this book proved me wrong. Daisy and Elliot's fake dating turned real romance was so cute and I loved seeing their relationship build to more. The curse and previous family members' stories added something extra and I loved the parallels of Aunt Daisy and Nate with our Daisy and Elliot.

📋 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒔
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Length: 384 pages
Vibes: Small town, fake dating, family curse
Pub date: May 5, 2026

🎉 𝑴𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒚 "𝒀𝒂𝒚!"
- It’s hard to beat fake dating + flowers + puppies! This latest trip to Dream Harbor had so many warm & fuzzy details. And yes…the mystery pet shop seen on the town map DOES play a role!

- I really enjoyed how well-matched our MCs were. Divorce is rarely a pain-free process, and it was encouraging to see Daisy and Elliott provide the specific comfort each needed.

- It’s not a Dream Harbor book without a little intrigue! This book’s mystery, involving a family curse and an old diary, paired well with the present-day love story.

- That epilogue, though! I won’t spoil anything but WILL say it made me cry…and blush 🌶️ Best “where are they now” yet!

🤔 𝑴𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒚 "𝑯𝒎𝒎..."
- Alas, insta-love is not my favorite trope, and it does play a role for one of our MCs. Luckily, the mention is light, and there’s enough of a journey to make the romance believable.

- A quick nitpick on the mystery I mentioned...some elements felt a little too convenient, even for fictional Dream Harbor!

🎉 𝑴𝒚 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒕
You can take me to Dream Harbor any day! I just love how these sweet, fluffy books make me feel. It’s honestly like going home and visiting your closest friends. And all our favorite characters from past books make an appearance, so you’ll get to say hi to everyone!

This has been such a fun and silly series that I really enjoyed. Dream Harbor is the quintessential cutesy small town where everyone knows everyone else as well as their personal business too. Most of the installments are flat out spicy hot reads that you will never see on the Hallmark channel. This installment picks up after the last one where we met Daisy and Elliot at Jeanie's and Logan’s wedding.

The book summary pretty much lays out the primary storyline of Dream Harbor native, Daisy, who took over the family flower shop from her mother and grandmother, Daisy May and Daisy June respectively. Daisy has been back in town for about a year now after a failed marriage and a failed engagement brought her back because she had nowhere else to go. Elliot landed in Dream Harbor about a year ago fleeing from his own failed marriage.

The flower shop is struggling without wedding business and can’t survive on funeral business. Daisy needs to prove to the Dream Harbor residents that she and her shop are not cursed in love. Elliot’s mom is coming to town because “she’s worried about Elliot being alone”. So, Daisy and Elliot agree to help each other out by pretending that they are dating in order to make Elliot’s mom happy and not worried about him and let the Dream Harbor townspeople see that Daisy is not cursed when it comes to happy relationships. What could possibly go wrong? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

There is also a secondary storyline of Daisy and Elliot discovering old pictures (from the 1920’s) of one of Daisy’s ancestors and one of Elliot’s ancestors and it appears they knew each other and possibly dated. I actually really enjoyed this storyline; and was just as curious as they were about finding out what happened.

The character development of Daisy and Elliot along with the continuing development of other Dream Harbor residents like Iris and a couple of others was well done. The pacing was steady, and the storyline, once again, was cute, funny and entertaining. The writing was on par for the series, and maybe just a little toned down, not much, but just a tad. I’m looking at an overall rating of 4.1 that I will be rounding down to a 4star review. I want to thank NetGalley and Harper 360 for sending me this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this story so much! There was so much depth to the characters back stories and a real sense of diving further into Dream Harbor's history. I loved the ancestor's diary and how it helped Daisy in her journey. The love story was so beautifully written. I have loved all the Dream Harbor books and each time I think Laurie won't top the previous books, but she just keeps getting better and better. I officially want to move to Dream Harbor. I feel like I am already a part of the town and I'm just waiting on my love story to be written. Highly recommend. Spice 2.5/5 (very plot heavy with the spicy parts fitting perfectly into the story.

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop was such a fun story to read and definitely contained some spicy moments. It is a feel good story of fake dating in a small town. For those who love the fake dating trope, you know exactly how the story goes and this book will surely not disappoint.

Daisy is trying to rebuild her life and bring success back to her family’s flower shop. After her own engagement ended and a few of the weddings she had created flower arrangements for ended in divorce, The residents of Dream Harbor have deemed her shop to be cursed.

Elliot is divorced and trying to convince his family he is doing great on his own and is finding his place in Dream Harbor. When he pops into Daisy’s flower shop at the most perfect time, he finds himself suddenly in a fake relationship. If everything goes to plan, Elliot and Daisy might just be able to convince everyone they can be successful in their careers and personal life.

I recently finished The Daisy Chain Flower Shop. I love these little cozy reads. Gilmore does a great job of bringing unlikely couples together. This story had a bit of a historical fiction feel when Daisy was researching her family history. I think that's why I enjoyed this one so much.
The only issue I had with the book was the epilogue that tells us where they end up in 20 years. This series has the sane characters still living in the same time Era. To get an update now when we will see these characters again seemed a little misplaced.
I'd rather have an end book for the series that gives an update on all the couples

Another cozy read by Laurie Gilmore! I continue to be amazed on how well developed the world of Dream Harbor is. The story weaving from all SIX books is something that other cozy romances just can’t match. Daisy November and Elliot’s story covers all the best tropes: fake relationship and he falls first! The only con that truly bothered me was how Daisy constantly got in her own darn way! I mean come on girl- give Elliot a break and let him love you 🥰

Unlucky in love Daisy is fed up with her reputation, so with new guy Elliot showing up in town as well as her spur of the moment antics, maybe she can pretend her way into some lucky love!

This book, like the rest of the Dream Harbor series, is a five star book for me. I love Daisy, she is my favorite character in this book, and I definitely got Hallmark movie vibes when reading it.

Dream Harbor is certainly a dream town, you get the cozy vibes you are looking for in this book. Do not hesitate to pick this book up! Also thank you immensely to NetGalley and the publishers for an eARC of this book. I enjoyed it so much!

PS - I also got the audiobook and loved it too! The book is read by CJ Bloom and Teddy Hamilton and they narrate the characters of Daisy and Elliot so well. In fact, I didn't even pick a favorite character until I listened to the audiobook and it was Daisy, not only because of her character portrayal, but because of the way that Elliot viewed Daisy as well, what a great audiobook! I do recommend that format of the two.

I adore this series and would happily read 100 more books set in this world.

This one follows Daisy, who’s basically convinced her flower shop is cursed after multiple weddings she did flowers for ended in divorce. Between that and Mayor Kelly’s dramatic “visions,” her reputation in town has gotten a little questionable, which is not ideal when your entire life revolves around romantic floral arrangements. Then there’s Elliot, a Dream Harbor newcomer who has been keeping his distance from the flower shop ever since arriving with his own relationship baggage.

It’s cozy, charming, and exactly what I want from this series: small-town comfort, returning characters, and a romance that sneaks up on both of them. A sweet, comforting read. I’ll keep coming back to Dream Harbor every time.

Thank you to Harper360 and NetGalley for the ARC.

This might have risen to be my favorite book in the Dream Harbor series so far — I’ll know for sure in a few days once I stop thinking about it nonstop, but at the very least it’s tied with Cinnamon Bun Book Store for me. Daisy Chain Flower Shop delivers everything I love about this cozy little world while raising the stakes emotionally at the same time. Between the fake dating, the top-tier yearning, and him falling first, this one had me completely invested from chapter one. The chemistry between these two felt natural and effortless, which made all of the tension hit even harder.

The romance in this one really shines because it balances sweetness with a delicious amount of spice without losing the cozy Dream Harbor vibe. The emotional build-up was just as satisfying as the romance itself, and I loved watching the relationship slowly unravel into something real. If you’ve already been loving the Dream Harbor books, this one is going to be an easy favorite. It has all the charm, comfort, and romantic tension that makes this series so addictive, and now I desperately need the next visit to Dream Harbor immediately.

This is a sweet small town romance in the dream harbor series by Laurie Gilmore.
Daisy runs a flower shop owned by her family and business is moving a little too slow. For particular reasons, it is now known as the cursed flower shop. Elliott is an architect who moved into town and heard about the cursed shop and tries to avoid it. When she runs into her ex, she claims Elliott as her “boyfriend”. Their fake relationship eventually turns into something more real.
I love a fake dating trope that has warmth with funny moments in between. Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read and share my thoughts.

I absolutely love the Dream Harbor series and all of the couples and side characters that come with it. The Daisy Chain Flower Shop’s story was so cute and a great addition to Dream Harbor. I thought the curse was a cute idea. It felt a tiny repetitive but it was still very cute, and a little spicier than some of the other books in the series. I just love coming back to Dream Harbor because it gives me all of the Hallmark feels and it is a nice pallet cleanser. They never disappoint and I can always count on Laurie to give me all of those comfort feels.

I also listened to this on Audio and so good they got CJ Bloom and Teddy Hamilton for this one!

Laurie Gilmore is the absolute queen of cute, cozy and fun romance books! Every book in this series has been great but hands down and without question The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is my absolute favorite!

Daisy and Elliot are what my dream books are made of! Light teasing banter, true friendship, understanding of the others needs, COMMUNICATION, meaningful spice. what else could you ask for?!

I loved this book from page 1 all the way to the end! The "mystery" elements, that's found in all of the Dream Harbor books, was really fun. I like how they worked together to find out more and research their pasts.

I also really loved and appreciated Iris' storyline in this book. It felt so real and something I think a lot of readers can identify with. It was beautifully added without taking away from Daisy's and Elliots story.

I could honestly go on about this book for hours but ultimately if you've enjoyed the past books in this series you won't want to miss this one!

Thank you Harper 360 for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Oh how nice it was to be back in Dream Harbor! I've grown to love this series more and more and it has become such a treat to be able feel comforted and come back to this little town. 🌼 I felt like this was so easy to fall back into and read, it was the cutest romance and I am always such a sucker for the fake dating trope! I quite literally binged this in one sitting, I was so invested!

Daisy was such a great character, I instantly felt attached to her. She was resilient, hard working, and so funny! When we met her a few books back, I was so curious to know more about her. I loved the small details of how every woman in her family was named Daisy and her learning her family history and her connection to the town just felt so special. I had to laugh of the idea of her thinking she was absolutely cursed, with her flower shop as well as her finding true love. Then comes sweet Elliot (who I would go to wars for, I simply love me a shy and nerdy man!!!) who goes right along with this fake dating "scheme" Daisy came up with on a whim when running into her ex-fiance. He's so tentative, sweet, and oh man the yearning that he felt for her was through the roof. Which of course means that I adored them even more! I loved the added bits of him also wanting to learn the history of the town and helping Daisy as well.

I would absolutely recommend this book (and series), it has all the charm and cozy feelings a love story could bring.

This book description sets the stage for a charming and heartwarming romance. The story of Daisy, a florist whose shop is unfairly labeled as cursed due to a series of unfortunate weddings, is intriguing. Her journey to overcome this reputation is both relatable and inspiring. Elliot, the newcomer to Dream Harbor, adds an interesting dynamic with his own past relationship struggles and skepticism about the shop’s curse. The premise of their unexpected connection through a simple flower purchase is delightful and promises a feel-good narrative. The mention of Mayor Kelly’s visions adds a touch of mystery and humor, enhancing the story’s appeal. Overall, this book seems like a perfect blend of romance, humor, and a touch of magic, making it a must-read for fans of the genre.

Thank you to the publisher and author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Going into *The Daisy Chain Flower Shop* by Laurie Gilmore, I honestly wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I did. While I thought *The Pumpkin Spice Café* and *The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore* were enjoyable but ultimately just so-so for me, this book completely knocked me off my feet.

The chemistry and tension between Daisy and Elliot were incredible from the start. Their banter was sharp, funny, and felt so natural that I found myself smiling through so many of their scenes together. Several moments throughout the book had me laughing out loud, but the festival scene absolutely stole the show for me. Daisy and Elliot selling flower crowns while multiple exes kept showing up and making comments was chaotic in the best way possible — and then having Elliot’s mom stroll over to meet Daisy for the first time during all of it? Perfection.

I’m also a sucker for the fake dating trope, especially when it turns into something real, and this book executed it so well. The emotional tension mixed with the humor made the romance feel incredibly satisfying, and I found myself rooting for Daisy and Elliot the entire time.

Beyond the romance, the cozy small-town atmosphere and flower shop setting added so much charm to the story. This felt warm, comforting, funny, and romantic all at once.

Out of Laurie Gilmore’s books so far, this has easily been my favorite. If you love fake dating, great banter, laugh-out-loud moments, and cozy romances with real chemistry, I highly recommend picking this one up.

The entire Dream Harbor series provides a feeling of escapism neccessary in our current world. I loved getting to visit another small shop in this quant town and meet two new people Daisy and Elliot. I loved seeing how they dealt with their 'curses' and transformed her business entire her own unique vision rather than her families.

I loved this book so much. I’ve read all the books in this series and every single one has the same adorable, cozy small-town feel that makes them so easy to fall into. This one was especially fun because Daisy owns a flower shop, and all the floral details made the story feel extra charming and comforting.

One of my favorite parts was Daisy and Elliott reading through her great aunt Daisy’s diary and learning about her lost love story. It added such a sweet emotional layer to the romance and really explained why Daisy was so determined not to repeat the same mistakes or end up heartbroken in the same way. I loved how the past and present stories connected.

Laurie Gilmore always makes the town feel so alive with quirky personalities that give major Gilmore Girls vibes — cozy, funny, and full of heart, just with some spice added in too.
