Each letter introduces a real insect along with engaging, kid-friendly facts that spark curiosity and build early science knowledge. Young readers will discover:

•    What makes an insect an insect (six legs, three body segments, antennae, and more!)
•    The difference between insects and other tiny creatures like arachnids and crustaceans
•    Amazing adaptations like dragonflies’ powerful wings, fireflies’ glowing lights, and stick insects’ clever camouflage

Thanks to NetGalley for the eARC!

Insects A to Z is a wonderful introduction to a very wide range of insects! The opening pages even go over what counts as an insect and what doesn't.

As a lover of all things creepy crawly, I'm always looking out for new bug based books for my kids' library. I really loved that this one contains such a wide variety of insects, most of which are quite obscure or otherwise outside of the typical handful of common insects/bugs in kids media.

My three year old bug lover adored it!

What a cute and informative book! I loved this as much as my son (the true bug lover) did. You get to see pretty illustrations, learn about each bug, and work on your alphabet. Doesn't get better than that!
