This is a fantastic fun bedtime story. There's so much imagination and love on every page and it's genuinely funny. The pictures are wonderful, with the kind of detail that's fun to have conversations about.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

Thank you #NetGalley for the read of this book in return for my honest opinion and review.

It was a cute imaginative story but I want to give this story a 3.5 close to a 4 but the Title is The Great Farty Slob Beast.... It needed more Farts and more Slob!!!

Read this with my 2 year old and we really enjoyed this story. We haven't gotten to the bored stage yet but she followed the plot. I personally loved that it gave some light to London and main tourist attractions that I can't wait to take her to one day. The illustrations were lovely as well.

I don’t think the title of the book fits the story. There wasn’t much farting at all from the slob. However, it was still a funny and silly story with great rhymes. The illustrations were also bright and fun.

Such a cute book! My mom was an English teacher and she taught us from a very early age to read. I don't ever remember not having a book in hand or near by and it still stands true to this day. She also taught us that children's books teach us so much. This book is just that.

I love the Great Farty Slob Beast. He is sweet and gentle and everything a beast should be. He takes along on an adventure of London instead of gobbling up Molly and her two sisters which he thought might at first seem more fun! The illustrations are beautiful and you will want to make sure to point out all the detail to your children. this will be one of those books that will for sure be pulled out a lot at bedtime.

The only thing I'm not sure of is the name of the book ... "Farty Beast"? He didn't fart a lot. My daughter loved farting books and she would have been greatly disappointed in the lack of farts. But overall, it is a fantastic book!

Thank You NetGallery and Charlie Farley for allowing me to review this book. All opinions remain my own.

This was a funny book about what happens when three kids get bored. I loved the shenanigans they get up too and in some ways it was reminiscent of Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes.

This book is an absolute delight 10 out of 10 highly recommend the playful rhyming flows beautifully and makes it such a joy to read out loud the vibrant, colourful illustrations bring every page to life and perfectly compliment. The story, especially love, how encourages readers of all ages to stretch their imagination to the fullest the silliness throughout is infectious and guaranteed to make both little kids and grown-up smile and the unexpected trip to England as a fun, surprising twist that makes the adventure even more memorable, a truly charming and imaginative read.!

This is a fun read! As an adult, and for a 12 and 2 year old. (And we all giggled at it.) Great illustrations too.

While their mother is too busy washing her hair, three girls protest to their father that they're bored and want something new to play at. Unfortunately, bored girls don't get to play with their father, but with a monster instead – it's a good thing then that this fath- sorry, monster is willing to take them to London to see the sights. This might involve demolishing the London Eye, and farting in the general direction of the Queen.

This is one of those 'wow, the powers of imaginative play' books – without declaring it actually is imaginative play. It is also showing its age with the Queen, having first come out in 2015. On the whole it would be visually attractive but nothing special, were it not for the rhyming narrative it all comes in. This is certainly strong enough to bulk this up to a full four stars, and makes for an enjoyable read-along. It's not spectacular, but having it back in the marketplace is not a bad thing at all. (The use of the word 'diaper' in an English book does jar, mind.)
