Description
After years of putting it off, Summer has finally accepted her friend John’s invite to Frostveil Resort: a magical place in the mountains. What she doesn’t expect is to meet his brother, Borealis, and to like him.
Borealis is a yeti through and through. The firstborn son of a generational yeti-cursed family, he carries the monster gene: seven feet tall, covered in fur, and big. Everywhere. After being burned by his previous relationship, he’s a bit wary of starting something new, even if he can’t stop thinking about Summer.
When John pushes them to spend time together, polite conversation evolves into small touches and kind words, and despite Borealis’ resistance and Summer’s uncertainty, their attraction is undeniable. But can love be stronger than the emotional scars they both carry?

I was fortunate enough to get a copy of this on netgalley and it was the perfect cozy low stakes monster vibe I was looking for in between my other too serious reads.
Summer was a refreshing FMC who was communicative, direct and honest.
Conner and Summers mom? DELUSIONAL is an understatement LOL. And thats all I'll say on them 🙃
Borealis (I'm not gonna lie, I spent the first 30% of the book trying to pronounce his name in my head before I just gave up lol) was so adorable. I 100% understand summer's obsession.
The romance was somehow both a slow and fast burn with the touches on insecurities, familial dynamics and friendly meddling. I loved every second of it and that John constantly got them out of their own heads lol. I also loved that Summer and John had such a wholesome friendship and there were ZERO insinuation that they could be thing. I'm tried of seeing books where the male friend "obviously wants more" and the only way he doesn't is if he is gay.
Noooooow I'm waiting for Levs and Johns book because 👀. The vibes from them was IMMACULATE ✨ lol.

Amazing quick read. I love a good quick read, and the happily ever after was great!
I think the friendship between Summer and John was great as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.
Bor was everything you want in an MMC possessive, slightly clueless and utterly obsessed!
Honestly I am really look forward to learning more about John and Lev and their two week vacation!
This was honestly too cute.
I was a bit sceptical going in and I have to admit that some mental images were not mental imaging (the *pocket*?? Hmmmmnot for me thanks).
But Bor was everything I want in a MMC. The possessive growling? The cute inner monologues? The insecurities even? YES pleaaaaase to all of it. I even wanted to love on him because he's so worth it.
Summer's thoughts were a bit simple at times; short sentences following each other like she doesn't know how to do a subclause? But now I'm nitpicking. I loved her and I applaud her for choosing for herself.
