I went into Saving Soul without having read the first two books in the series, and honestly? It didn't take away from my experience at all. Ann Penny gave me everything I needed to connect with these characters and become completely invested in their story.

Cassidy and Adam absolutely stole my heart. Cassidy's strength, resilience, and devotion to her son made her impossible not to root for, while Adam's journey from guarded billionaire to someone willing to open his heart had me hooked from start to finish. Their chemistry was undeniable, but it was the emotional growth between them that really kept me invested.

What surprised me most was how deeply this story made me feel. Between the romance, the family dynamics, and the realities of grief and loss, this book took me on an emotional roller coaster that I wasn't ready to get off of.

To say that this world has taken over my thoughts is an understatement! Adam got his redemption in this emotional, heartfelt romance. Strong and determined single mother, Cassidy, finds employment as an end of life doula, and is surprised to find that the man she had a recent amazing night with, Adam, is the grandson of her current employer. Adam didn’t expect for Cassidy to claim him as she did. The two have to navigate their internal feelings, their passion, and family dynamics. There was so many emotions running around in my mind as I read this: empathy for the elderly and their wishes, understanding for the sacrifices Cassidy made for her son, swooning due to Adam’s actions (I mean, he underlined spicy scenes in a romance novel for her!), blushing from the spice, cheering for the two to have a happily ever after…Please let this series become a movie or show, I’d break my tv ban to watch!
