This book completely pulled me in. The idea of a world where an algorithm decides who you are meant to marry was fascinating, especially because Eliotte has already made up her mind about who she wants. She has loved Ashton since childhood and fully expects the Algorithma to match them. So imagine her shock when she is matched with Izaak, Ashton’s older brother.

And honestly, the romance was my favorite part.

The relationship between Eliotte and Izaak is such a slow burn, and I loved watching their feelings develop naturally. They start off with so much tension and resentment. Watching those walls slowly come down was SO good.

I especially loved the forced marriage aspect because neither of them chose this relationship, yet they slowly start choosing each other.
The romance is surrounded by a really intriguing dystopian storyline involving government control, rebellion, forbidden choices, and a society that believes science can determine something as complicated as love. I really enjoyed watching Eliotte question everything she thought she knew. Being matched with Izaak forces her to look beyond the system.

I am definitely invested in Eliotte and Izaak and need to know what happens next.

If you love slow burn romance, forced marriage, love triangles, rebellion, and dystopian worlds, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.
