Firstly, thank you so much for letting me read No Charm Done.
In this third instalment of The Oak Haven Witches, we get to see what Luna gets up to when shes out causing mischief. When she decides to rescue Elias Shaw whom was the person who helped save the witches when they got stuck in the last book.
I very much enjoyed getting to read about Luna and the ended was so lovely, I will miss this town very much.

Luna Melrose is the most charming and chaotic witch I think I’ve ever read about. I absolutely adored this book and it felt like all the moments were written out just right. Gripping in all the right places and full of romance, the right amount of tension and a little bit of anxiety sprinkled in.

Oak Haven is the kind of place that I would love to visit.

A delightful read for anyone that wants a witchy read.

Didn’t realise this was book 3 but it wasn’t that important as the details you need to know from the other books are repeated.
A really fun cute little witchy book, a fast read with low stakes which was exactly what I wanted

I adore urban fantasy!! Add in time travel, an evil app building, opportunistic tech boi, an FMC and MMC from different time periods and so much angst and I am OBSESSED!!

This world is fantastic, with feuding magicians and witches and magic that’s about to be hijacked by the app industry!! I love every second of it. Despite some truly hairy moments of OH MY GOD!! It is an easy read. Just what I needed!! I think Emily Grimoire has done such an amazing job with this!!

Luna is seen as the extremely powerful but flakey one of the family. She needs to escape the constraints of running the family in business and needs a way to do it. So she decides to go and rescue a magician who was been trapped for nearly 100 years oh my God! It is so fun! Enter Elias Shaw the dapper MMC from the 1920s. It isn’t so brilliant because he has just a completely different way of speaking to Luna half of what he says doesn’t really make sense to her and he definitely doesn’t understand the 21st century. This leads to some really really funny moments and some fantastic explanations on both parts. He’s also a massive con man and this is just hilarious when he’s trying to con people but doesn’t actually really understand what he’s trying to do. Luna is seen as really flaky but I thought she was really resourceful and I she’s so brilliant especially how she used magic and comes up with a plan to try and save magic itself.

It was a really really fun read and I really enjoyed how the plot panned out. I also thought that the whole will they won’t they and oh my God they keep getting interrupted part of the romance was absolutely hilarious and had me totally on the edge of my seat.

The ending made me cry with happiness and sadness apart and the conclusion of the magic stealing was phenomenally done. If you enjoy Urban fantasy books, Magic time travel and a possible love that spans ages then this is definitely the book for you!!!!

I think this might be my favourite book of the entire series.

I enjoyed the first two but I was glad that there was a different bad guy to fight than it just being the magicians again. Not only did it keep the story fresh but it seemed to be less chaotic, allowing me to get to know Luna and Elias a bit more.

Rather than having to deal with crazy magic that often barely seemed to make sense, they had to deal with something that would absolutely happen in the real world if people found out magic existed. This raised the stakes slightly but still kept it fun.

Once again, the relationship between the main characters was a bit too insta-love, but I expected this to be the case. They fit together well and I appreciated how they did come to develop feelings as felt very organic.

This is the end to a super fun witchy series that I'll happily reach for in the future when I need something cosy and entertaining.

No Charm Done is the third novel in the Oak Haven witch series. I really enjoyed the first two so I was delighted to be granted an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Luna is a truly truly terrible receptionist the family inn - therefore makes it her quest to go and rescue Elias; a magician trapped in another realm. Despite the notorious witch/magician war, Elias and Lina find themselves on a time jumping adventure to save the world and ultimately; find themselves and love along the way. The perfect witchy romance, this book is a cosy and heart warming adventure!

No Charm Done is the third book in the Oak Haven Witches series, but it absolutely can be read as a standalone. However, if you do read it as a standalone some of the plot points of the previous books will be revealed to you. But this shouldn't detract from the reading experience in any way.

I had such a fun time reading No Charm Done. It is fast-paced and quirky, perfect for fans of Gilmore Girls and Practical Magic. The rivalry between witches and magicians was intriguing, as well as the chaos created by the town's charm that makes non-witches forget everything that happened when they are in Oak Haven.

There were some genuine laugh out loud moments in this book. Watching Elias from 1926 try to navigate the world in 2026 was great. I love a time travel plot, and this one was done well. The characters and town were also really special. Oak Haven sounds like the perfect cosy witchy town with a delightfully quirky cast of characters.

Overall, I had a great time reading this book and would recommend it for anyone who loves a fast-paced and quirky witchy romance.

Another great read by Emily Grimoire. This book, like the other two books in the series, has likable characters with a good solid story line involving Luna, the youngest sister from the local inn located in the magical town of Oak Haven. Luna, after her many adventures, is having a difficult time settling down and staying in one place when she decides to rescue Elias, a magician, from the Void he has been stuck in for almost a 100 years. Luna and Elias have their struggles, but they both crave adventure and a bit of excitement. The story explores their growing relationship during a crisis affecting all of Oak Haven.

What I specially like about the book is that the characters are relatable. Luna and Elias have their quirks, but that is what makes the story entertaining. It is nice to have a cozy witchy book to cuddle up with that is well written and engaging . I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was such a fun and magical read that completely drew me into its world. From the very beginning, I was hooked by the charm, atmosphere, and the unique blend of fantasy elements that made the story feel fresh and entertaining.

I really enjoyed the characters and the way their personalities brought the story to life. There was a great balance of humour, adventure, and emotional moments, making it easy to become invested in what was happening and what would happen next. The relationships between the characters added so much heart and made the journey even more enjoyable.

The world-building was another highlight, creating a setting that felt imaginative and full of possibilities. The pacing kept the story moving nicely, with plenty of twists, magical moments, and surprises along the way to keep me engaged.

Overall, this was a delightful fantasy read that I thoroughly enjoyed. It’s perfect for readers who love magic, memorable characters, and stories that offer a fun escape into another world. I’ll definitely be looking out for more from this author.

An app to use magic? Maybe not the best idea.

At least that’s what the Melrose sisters think when they find out that their beloved witchy magic is being monetized through an app created by their abhorred magician counterparts. Told from the perspective of youngest sister Luna, she traipses through time with 1920s conman Elias to keep the dignity of magic intact.

This third book in the Oak Haven Witches series is brilliant, bringing together fantastical magic with the realities of technological advances.

This book is a fun romp through time, with a side of thought-provoking ideas about how technology is used both for good and abused by others for personal gains.

I have enjoyed other books by the author and No Charm Done was no different. This was the perfect cosy witchy read that's perfect for early Autumn or any time that you want something cute to read. The story was cute and easy to follow and had a good cast of characters. I loved the author's writing style and the small town place setting in the story sounded cute. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading more by the author.

The writing was light, engaging and had my attention from the beginning right through to the end. There were lots of things going on that made it an exciting read and I looked forward to picking it back up at each reading session.

The chapters were fairly long and sometimes split, which meant that you got a good chunk of the story before moving on. Each chapter had an interesting title that gave a tiny hint as to what you were about to read next.

There was a good flow between the chapters and a good pace to the overall story. There was always something happening which propelled the story forward well. There was a good balance between description and action. You didn't linger on anything for too long.

The characters were excellent. Whilst I haven't read the other books in the series, I didn't feel like I had missed out on anything. It was an excellent standalone and we got to learn what we needed to about each character to make them interesting to read about. I will certainly be looking to read the other books in the series at some point in the future!

The two main characters were fun, chaotic and a joy to read about. I loved how they tried to make things better, but it didn't always work out. The support that they had from the surrounding characters was lovely to read about. There were also some darker supporting characters that added suspense and tension to the story.

Lastly the settings. I loved the magical settings. There were some lovely descriptions which really brought the story to life.

Overall a wonderful read, full of magic and chaos. I loved it and highly recommend!

Thank you to Avon Books UK for the eARC; all opinions are my own.

The third installment of the Oak Haven Witches series is a delight and really takes on a different approach from the first two - which is good!! While the first two were primarily based in Oak Haven, the third book has readers following first Luna, and then Luna and Elias, to different places and times, making for a fun adventure of wondering when and how they will get to their right time and place.

The book is a bit insta-lovish for Luna and Elias and I would have liked to see some more relationship building for them and acting on attraction and not just lust/immediate attraction. The two of them work well together, though, on their mission to protect magic from being appified and available to the masses. Side note: the commentary on social media and monetizing things was really well done!! And so relevant!!

It was fun to be back in Oak Haven and catch up with some familiar characters - the Earls, especially, when they pull out their pirate tools to defend Oak Haven and the people they love.

I hope there are more books in this series!

Third book in the Oak Haven Witches series, all of which can be read as standalone. However I would recommend reading them all as it helps build the picture and makes it feel more magical. Luna is such a fun character and her appearances throughout the other books has made her such an appealing character and I could not wait for a book about her. She finally gets a chance at some adventure and she snaps it up. Insert time travel here: which was fantastic.

Luna Melrose is a strong witch who feels stuck helping run her family’s magical inn, so she jumps at the chance to free magician Elias Shaw from the “Void”, despite the ongoing feud between witches and magicians, as repayment of saving her mother and other witches from the magical town of Oak Haven. But things don’t go as planned and Luna and Elias are thrown back in time to NYC during the blackout of 1977.

Elias Shaw is a magician from 1926, who was sent to the Void as punishment of his crimes, but now that he is free, he has to figure out how to deal with the modern world and come to terms with the loss of his past. And things quickly get messy because of time travel, weakened magic, tension between witches and magicians, and the risk of humans finding out too much about magic. Luna and Elias travel through different places and times as they try to fix the problems around them and protect Oak Haven and the magical world.

Overall, I thought this was a fun, cozy, and easy book to read. I enjoyed the mix of magic, time travel, humor, small-town witchy vibes, found family and romance between Luna and Elias. Some parts, like the romance and the ending, felt a little rushed, but the story was still really entertaining and had enough charm, chaos, and heart to keep me interested. This is the third book in the series, and I did not read the first two books, but the author gave more than enough backstory to make this a story that can be read as a standalone title.

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I loved reading this book.

When the Melrose sisters realise that their magic has been marketed to be used through an app which their unlikeable magician counterparts have made, they are not happy.

The story is told from the viewpoint of Luna who is the youngest sister. Luna has to go back in time with Elias who is a 1920s conman so that the honor of the magic remains.

This book portrays how technology can be used for good but others abuse it for their own gain.

I recommend this book.
