I loved this book from beginning to end. We meet Liem and Bri when they are in the same restaurant and being broken up with at the same time. They end up commiserating together which turns into a deep friendship. They help each other to heal and along the way begin to fall for each other even though they deny that is happening. Liem was so sweet to Bri and Bri was good to Liem. Their love came out of nowhere but was so sweet in how evolved. Bri was able to pursue her career aspirations and Liem got out of the habit of putting himself last, Hated for this book to end but loved it all the way through. Fantastic read!

I was captivated from the very beginning of this read. Bri and Liem were both going through breakups while sitting side by side at a restaurant?! Messy 😅 lol. Sad and lonely, they decide to drink their troubles away… together. The start of their friendship felt so natural. I loved the contrast in their personalities and how well they balanced each other out. There was a little bit of drama, a little more spice, and a lot of character development. The lover girl in me really enjoyed this read. It reminded me of a cute sappy Rom-Com.

This was such a beautifully done romance featuring two people who got their second chances with each other.

When Bri and Liem both find themselves being broken up at the same restaurant, they take a chance on one another instead and find that they have quote a bit in common. Through several challenges and with several of life's obstacles being thrown at them, they're able to find their own happily ever after!

This is beautifully written, well paced, with such a fluid story that i highly recommend to anyone who enjoys second chance romances!
