This is a thoughtful and deeply human meditation on mortality and the beauty of ordinary life. I loved the way Marge Piercy moves so naturally between poetry, journal entries, memories, recipes, and the rhythms of everyday living, reminding us that our lives are lived within these ordinary moments. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC.

This was an artfully done, simple and honest memoir, from a writer who has devoted her life to writing and activism. I really enjoyed getting a bird's-eye view into Piercy's life and how she built it. It was inspiring to me as a writer and as a human. The book was also a thoughtful look into aging with dignity and navigating end-of-life questions and concerns.
