This book struck me to my core. This book wrapped me up in the most warm and welcome way possible.In so many ways, it feels like a love letter to queer communities both past and present.But overall, this was a truly wonderful book and one I already know will become another all-time favourite.

I really enjoyed this book. It's such a cool story that takes you on a fun time travel ride. And it's filled with so much heart!

Everly is a very relatable character. I adore her relationship with Sam. They go on a wild adventure together.

If you like books that make you feel something, this one is for you. I definitely recommend it!

Just from reading the blurb for 'We Were Supposed to Find This' I expected to enjoy this YA novel. What I didn't expect was a compelling page turner with layers of mystery, intricately woven plotlines reaching backwards and forwards in time, a cat and mouse thriller-style who-done-it, and an abundance of plot twists. The romance between Everly and Sam was a bonus.

While many of the plot twists I'd seen coming, there was one towards the end that did catch me by surprise. No spoilers, but the logistics of the way it played out have kept me thinking about the nature of time travel itself and concurrent timelines in particular. I really love a novel that keeps me pondering long after the final page is read and 'We Were Supposed to Find This' has definitely accomplished that.

With perfect pacing the writing flows consistently throughout and each chapter serves to move the plot forward without any lags. The writing itself conveys a wealth of emotions through dialog and scene descriptions with a balanced style between Showing and Telling the reader what's going on. I loved how well written was and how thoroughly engrossed I was in finding out what comes next.

This book that kept me reading 'Just one more chapter' long into the early hours of morning. Unputdownable!

I highly recommend this to those who love a multi-faceted storline with elements of mystery, danger, sci-fi time travel and a dose of thriller vibes. All wrapped up in a beautiful sapphic romance for the ages.

This was such a gripping read. This kept me glued to my kindle. I absolutely love books like this and I have NO notes! Amazing. Will definitely be recommending to read this in my book club!
