I loved this children's Halloween book! I will definitely use this for my storytime. I could see this turning into a movement exercise book or even using rhythm sticks along with it. I also loved the illustrations. They were just the right amount of spooky for kids and the colors were visually beautiful.

OMG! This was the most adorable book for kids. Yes, I sang my way through the book to the tune of Eee Iii Eee Iii OHH! The illustrations are kid friendly and the colors are amazing. They are bright enough to keep a young Childs attention while Mom or Dad reads Here a Creak, There a Shriek to them.

If you have a kid who loves Halloween and enjoys a bit of creepiness in their stories, definitely check out this awesome book which turns the song, “Old MacDonald Had A Farm,” completely on its head. It follows a trio of kids who explore a haunted farm and encounters all its inhabitants, from beasts, to mummies, to ghosts! “Eeek-I, Eeek-I, OH!” The illustrations are perfectly spooky, yet totally kid-friendly and appropriate (no nightmares here, I promise!) There’s also a great twist ending, and the end papers are absolutely spooktacular!

Here a Creak, There a Shriek by Kelly Conroy was such a fun spooky read! Perfect for classrooms or Halloween read alouds, this “Old MacDonald”-inspired story is packed with creepy-cute fun that kids will absolutely love. The illustrations have that perfect spooky Halloween charm without being too scary, and the rhyming text makes it super engaging for little readers. From cackling witches to floating ghosts and a spooky barn dance finale, this book is a must-buy to get kids into the Halloween spirit!

Absolutely adorable little Haunted Halloween book that I read with my 3 year old. Very entertaining. Fantastic artwork. Bright engaging pictures. Perfect for little readers who enjoy spooky reads. Features lots of traditional Halloween creatures. Starts out with a fright and ends in a cute Halloween party. Fun for all.

So cute! I had just finished singing old Macdonald with my 1yo when I asked my 3yo if he wanted to read this book. So now instead of EIEIO I have EEEK I EEK I O in my head! The illustrations are cute with a little spooky, but I love how nothing is scary.
My son loved looking at the illustrations and finding things the story was talking about. Perfectly engaging.
