Description
If You Give a Man-Baby Some Bronzer is a sharp, satirical picture book that hilariously reimagines the classic circular storytelling format for the modern political era. When a bronzer-obsessed “man-baby” catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror, one tiny vanity spiral snowballs into giant mirrors, golden thrones, social media meltdowns, fake awards ceremonies, campaign rallies, Sharpie-edited weather maps, and fantasies of endless applause.
Packed with witty visual gags, exaggerated illustrations, and escalating absurdity, this parody skewers ego, celebrity culture, political spectacle, and the endless hunger for attention. Fans of political satire, viral humor, and irreverent parody books will enjoy this playful yet biting comedic read.
Ideal for adults, satire fans, and readers who appreciate political humor wrapped in the style of a children’s picture book.

Couldn’t stop giggling at the little tyrant main character in the book. A satirical take on a harsh reality? They say laughter is the best medicine and honestly sometimes all you can do is laugh to keep from crying. Enjoyed this silly book about a spoiled little boy. And the illustrations were so vivid and colorful. Love the play on the format of an old beloved favorite children’s book. Will be reading this again whenever I’m feeling down.

This was super cute. The illustrations were wonderful. Haven't thought of "covfefe" in a while. Sure, I'm not spelling that right. This made me nostalgic for reading "If You Give A Mouse a Cookie" when my now adult son was young. I love all the references to the first dreadful term. I hope that he writes another (there were many after all, Pig/Pancake, etc.), now that Trump has unfortunately done even more. I would recommend this to any anti-Trump friend, especially one who is raising or has raised small children. It is amazing.
Political satire perfection! It closesly mirrors reality and the author absolutely nailed this! The graphics are spot on for the Man-Baby. Thank-you, Ames Lowen, for this complimentary copy. Opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
