This was such a sweet book about sharing food and time with family. This is a great book for those to see themselves in or for others to learn about another culture and their food! It’s a sweet story that also highlights family and relationships. The graphics were beautiful in this!

This was a really sweet book. I like how the author included her own children. The illustrations were great. A book good to show kids a different culture.

This book tells of Dosa Day, a day when the children and families make Dosas. It teaches about the different types of Dosas, the ingredients that people use, and what can be added to it so that it will be enjoyed by different people. It also has a sweet message, that the best part of Dosa Day is the time that the family spends together. It also reminds the reader of family, traditions, and memories. It also shows the main character inviting his friends to Dosa Day, being proud of his family and his heritage. This is so important for kiddos to see! And of course there is a yummy recipe at the end of the book if you want to try to make your own Dosa.

I'm South Indian and this book caught my eye because of the title. Very cute book and my daughter really enjoyed it as she is already familiar with dosas and even calls her grandma Ammamma so I loved the representation of this book for her in that she truly could see herself in the characters. Thank you for writing this book and to the publisher, thank you for giving opportunities like this to writers who want to showcase a particular culture. Representation matters!! loved it

This is a good book. It's not just introducing a unfamiliar food not tradition but that love between child and grandma. This kind of book gives and gives you think it has no ending. The interaction in this book is good and i love how they incorporate the old and next generation bridging the gap because of this food. The artwork is delightful and bright and really makes the book more extra special.
