Description
Grades 2-4+, part of an 8-title series.
Robots are more than just characters in sci-fi movies and TV shows. They’re now a part of our everyday lives! This means that young readers often have a lot of questions about how they work, who creates them, and what they’ll be able to do in the future. These questions and more are answered in this unique guide to a high-interest area of STEM. Short blocks of text provide fun facts about the world of robotics, and colorful illustrations capture readers’ attention. Readers are encouraged to think critically about technology, including AI.
Illustrated by Mark Ruffle.

This is an information filled and fun book that kids will love. Hey who doesn't like robots. There are lots questions answered here and lots of robots to mentioned that will fascinate you as you read this book. The art is good, clean and perfect compliment with the text. The cherry on top of this book is the card game with the picture of the robots and a short stats. This is a must read book that definitely kids will enjoy.
Robots is a very engaging and informative non-fiction book about robots that's well-suited for readers in grades one through five, especially those interested in technology, science, robotics, or AI. A wonderful feature of this book is that it is question-and-answer-based, so you can read sections of the book at a time without losing the plot or missing too much information. The pictures are engaging and help the readers understand the content. The content is written in an accessible and interesting way that will not only help readers understand robots but also develop an interest in them and how they work. This would be a great addition to any public or school library serving young readers, but it would also be a fantastic start to a STEM unit (or class), especially one on robots, technology, or inventions. Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC; highly recommend!
