An informative book of a new family member joining. I think this would be a wonderful gift to someone expecting a second child. It does a great job explaining that mom will be away but how life can be fun and exciting with the new addition.

Very cute book! The story behind this book is what drew me to it. One of the biggest things about bringing a new baby home to a house with existing kids is how to explain to them the changes. I loved that this book basically drew on the fact that nothing really has to change! The baby just integrates into the existing family activities. My child is only four months at this point so I was mainly reading it to him to see if this was a book that I would want for bringing home future children. However, he was very engaged and loved looking at the colorful pages!

I would definitely recommend this book to a family who is bringing home a new baby or will eventually.
