Another fun, cute and quick read by Amy Quick Parrish. This is a book in a series but can be read as a standalone. I finished this book in one sitting because it is pretty short. I loved Amy and Max's story.

Oh wow. So happy to be back in the Highlands, meeting new characters and revisiting ones we’ve met before. This book is meant to be a spin off/standalone book, that can easily be read as such OR you could also read it following the Highland Christmas trilogy books (Make sure to get those too as they really are both fun and a treat to read!) I thoroughly enjoyed all of these stories and already crave more!

I loved this story that was set in the Scottish Highlands.
From the beautiful scenery that was described so perfectly, to the fun of planning a summer wedding against such a gorgeous backdrop.
This is book 1 of the Highlands Romance series and Abby is with her sister and her fiancé making sure everything is perfect for the couples special day.
Little did they know that there would be a problem with the venue and that Abby’s first love Max would be at the centre of it.
Shocked to see him again Abby hightails it out of there, knowing that she still has unresolved feelings for him.
This is a fun, enjoyable story with some pretty amazing characters.
I loved the storyline, the drama plus the romance in this book and look forward to more stories in this series.

This was my first Amy Quick Parrish read, it was a quick and easy, an ideal lazy summer day or weekend read.

Abby is a wedding planner who heads to the Scottish Highlands to plan her sister's wedding, only to run into Max MacLeod, her first love. With a summer stretching ahead of them in beautiful Scotland, Abby has to decide between her carefully ordered Boston life and a second chance at love.

This is a warm, cozy Scottish romance with lovely Highland scenery, sisterly bonds and that irresistible second chance romance feel. If you're looking for a sweet, feel good read to unwind with, this one delivers. TBR & Enjoy.
