The dream continumm is set in a fast paced dystopian world where we follow Xander. Xander works for a company who collect air samples and work with these to create machinery to help the citizens breathe as the air has been contaminated after several world disasters. On one of his air collecting trips he finds a stone to add to his ever growing collection and thinks nothing of it until he's thrown into a dream world very different from his own. We go backwards and forwards from xanders world where he's struggling with work and family commitments to the dream world that he doesn't understand but feels is very real. The real life situations mixed with future life is written fantastically with the dynamic of a almost fantasy twist to the dream world. The characters are relatable and you quickly feel connected to them. I can't wait to see where xanders journey takes us next.

The Dream Continuum Part One is a great sci-fi book set in the future with plenty of advanced technology. I felt bad for Xander throughout the story. He worked hard during the day and was treated poorly by his boss. Xander wants to help heal his planet, but his boss and others seem more concerned about themselves and money. His vivid dreams were so bad it made me not want to sleep. I enjoyed how each chapter was either during his time awake or during his dreams. This book does a great job describing what loss, hope, betrayal, and jealousy feel like.

I really enjoyed diving into this imaginative sci-fi world. The concept immediately grabbed my attention, and I loved trying to piece together how everything connected as the story unfolded.

Since this is the first part of a larger story, there were plenty of unanswered questions by the end, but instead of feeling frustrated, I found myself even more curious to see where the series goes next. The world-building was ambitious, and the author clearly has a much larger story planned.

I'm looking forward to continuing the journey in the next installment.

Such a cool and unique concept! I really enjoyed the contrast between the dystopian future and the strange dream world, especially as the connections between the two slowly started to emerge. There are definitely a lot of unanswered questions since this is only Part One, but it left me really curious to see where the story goes next!

I really enjoyed the start of this series and was frustrated that it was over so quickly.

The dream continuum follows Xander as he tries to save the air on his planet and his interactions with his terrible boss, and also a continuous vivid dream where Xander gets into more and more difficult situations.
The story also added some background detail about Xander's missing family which was intriguing and I cant wait to find out more.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC in return for an honest review.
