Description
We have never been more connected.
We text, call, like, and react anytime, anywhere.
And yet, more and more of us feel distracted, exhausted, lonely, and less connected than ever to the people around us.
In Breaking Up With Our Phones, you’ll discover what that constant availability is doing to us, and how we can gradually rediscover what truly matters.
This is not a book against technology.
(No devices were hurt in the making of this book.)
It shows you how to use technology without losing yourself.
With insights from psychology, relatable stories, and practical strategies, you’ll learn:
• why digital connection often feels empty — and how to create real depth again
• how screens affect love, friendship, and work — and how to set healthy boundaries
• why we feel exhausted even when we’re “resting” — and how to restore real energy
• how small rituals can grow into lasting connection
No unrealistic offline escape fantasies.
No preaching.
But a warm, hopeful guide to staying human in a hyperconnected world.
Because this book is ultimately not about wanting fewer screens —
but about choosing more life.

In her life, she practices what this book describes: conscious attention and meaningful connection, mostly offline.
