Some children's books make kids laugh. The Foopy Song makes them laugh, sing, and actually want to sit through mealtime. The repeating rhyme is impossible not to join in with, and before long everyone is chanting along about food, poop, and play. It takes something every child understands and turns it into a silly celebration that also happens to reinforce healthy habits. The cheerful illustrations add to the fun, making each page feel like part of a game. This is one of those books families will read over and over because the kids won't let them stop.
