A quick and enjoyable listen that definitely leaves you wanting more in a very good way.

A little romance, a smidge of political intrigue, and a whole lot of action. Told in first person PoV, this novella follows the life of Ash through her triumphs and losses.

Grace Noble, Ben Hall, and Alex Corbett Ashby did a good job at narration. I normally listen to audio between 1.5-1.75x speed. I was able to listen to this well paced story at 1.5x without any problems.

I have now added the other Fae-blessed to books to my TBR list. My hope is they, too, will be made into audiobooks with the same narrators.

I listened to “Crowned by Fae” written by Jada McCrary, narrated by Grace Noble, Ben Hall, and Alex Corbett Ashby. I’d never heard of this series before, but after finishing this short story I’m proud to say Jada has a new fan! I enjoyed the writing style, characters, plot, twists, and settings! The author did an amazing job detailing the world-building and I didn’t feel overwhelmed. This book was fun, adventurous, thrilling, loving, emotional, and a perfect prequel to what I hope is an amazing series!

The narration was top tier — the narrators brought this story to life. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and see who I recognize from this book! I truly hope the same narrators are used throughout this series!!!

I've listened to both iterations of this audio, both single narration and multi-cast. I loved having the addition of Ben Hall and Alex Corbett Ashby for the multitude of male voices. Though I can't deny the talent of Grace Noble voicing all the female voices. She was also amazing doing the single narration.

The addition of two more male voices adds depth to this short story, really allowing the listener to engross themself into it. Chapter 14 is still just as emotionally devastating, so I've now cried 3 times over this story!

If you love a cozy and humorous fantasy, Fae, dragons, epic battles, a little bit of romance, adventure, cinnamon roll MMC, cocky FMC, and all the feels, give this novella a try!

This may have been a short novella, but it packed quite the emotional punch. I was pleasantly surprised by just how much world building was woven into such a quick read. It did a fantastic job of introducing the world while also giving us a strong connection to the FMC.

From the very first dragon fight, I was completely rooting for Ash.

And that ending… 😭😭😭😭😭

I’ll be the first to admit that fantasy and the whole Fae craze are not my cup of tea. It’s something I want to like, and I keep trying and failing. Crowned by the Fae is a short story and a standalone prequel to the Fae-Blessed series. I thought maybe a short story would be perfect, and maybe I would be interested in a bigger series, and I was right. This story really peaked my interest.

Like I said, it’s short, but in its short runtime, I really did get some good action and heartbreak. I really loved the ending, and it left me wanting to find out more about this world. I have officially added the series proper to my TBR, and I’m actually excited to go on an adventure with some Fae. I don’t think I ever said that before.

I have read a few Novellas by this author now and really loved them, this one was no exception! It’s just under 2.5 hours long and we follow Ash who is one feisty and determined fae women.

We watch as she kills a dragon, sneaks into where she shouldn’t be, faces her past and raises herself and those around her up. Jada McCrary always somehow manages to fit a lot into these short stories, captures you from the first chapter and yet the story never feels rushed even with something always going on.

This story will have you in all your feels, break your heart and fill you with hope and intrigue for the future!

I am now definitely intrigued by this series and will be keeping me eye out for the rest of the series audiobooks. The audio was narrated by Grace Nobel, Ben Hall and Alex Corbett Ashby which I thoroughly enjoyed, we NEED the rest of the books narrated by this trio!!

There was also some bonus material at the end including an alternate scene and blooper, LOVED IT!!!

Crowned By The Fae, Book 0 in the Fae-Blessed Series was a super fun audiobook to listen to. I adore novella’s they are really good for light and fun reads and I was so surprised by how fast this novella flew by. I have not read any of the main books in the Fae-Blessed series but this novella really made me want to pick up the first book. I am glad I was able to come into this book series with no preconceptions and learn the story as it unfolded in the novella.

Not only was the story really good and honestly I teared up at the end, the audio narration was really well executed. I didn’t find any of the voices to be distracting and they all matched their characters really well. For a shorter novella the character development was excellent. I was worried that a prequel can sometimes leave gaps because the inclination is that someone who’s already read the series can now read this for more context. But as a brand new reader to this series I didn’t feel like I was left wondering or wanting for much.

It’s got a really good pacing throughout. It didn’t ever feel rushed or dragged out. I listened to this book in under 3 hours and I don’t have any gripes or complaints with it. I would recommend to those who haven’t read anything else in this series to please pick this book up first.
