I was especially intrigued by how AI was not just a backdrop but played a pivotal role in the plot. This made the storyline dealing with AI particularly thought-provoking. You could tell that Mr. Draine knew this subject well. I appreciated this as a reader forever trying to learn something,

Very thought-provoking for modern times when AI is running rampant and no one wants to take control over it. But I loved it from the start. Great storyline and well-thought-out characters. I was hooked from beginning to end

Race of Deception was a thought-provoking read that kept me engaged from beginning to end. Maurice Draine weaves together a compelling storyline with powerful themes surrounding technology, misinformation, and the dangers of believing everything we see online.
What stood out to me most was the message. It explored how easily perception can be manipulated in today's digital world, but it did so through a creative and unique storyline unlike anything I've read before. Rather than simply telling readers to question what they consume online, the author builds a story that allows you to experience those dangers firsthand alongside the characters.
The pacing kept me invested, and I found myself eager to see how everything would unfold. It's one of those books that entertains while also giving you something meaningful to think about long after you've finished the last page.
Overall, I really enjoyed Race of Deception. If you're looking for a moderately paced story with a timely message about technology, truth, and the influence of the digital world, I'd definitely recommend adding this one to your TBR.
