This book has very good promise for a series. I thought the writing was a touch slow and I wish the romance was a touch fast, but overall the story was great. I also love a story of magic and mystery and this book checked those boxes. The world building is very very strong with a powerful FMC on a quest....you feel like you are experiencing it with her as you read. A solid dark fantasy and I'm curious to see where the story goes.
