This is such a good book, I laughed so hard I had tears. The foot scene was diabolical and hilarious. I can't wait to see what happens with the new character who appeared. It seems like such a lighthearted and fun series. I'm excited for the next one, hoping there's more outlandish scenes between the MC and MMC.

This was soooo funny haha. Loved the comedy in this webtoon! I wish this was longer cause I’m left waiting for more. The way the main character and male lead met and ended up staying involved somehow with Mingji was great, can’t wait to see if Mingji gets explained and how and if Ji-Eon continues to use it.

Act Like You Love Me! is a delightful slice-of-life romance that perfectly balances laugh-out-loud humor, relatable struggles, and just the right touch of fantasy.

The story centers on Ji-eon, an utterly exhausted, hard-working woman juggling three jobs just to get by, and Doyun Nam, a famously prickly actor harboring severe phobias. Their paths cross in the most unexpected way when Ji-eon accidentally becomes his assistant for the day. After a challenging day with him, she stumbles upon a magical plushie she received that lets her control Doyun's every move. Turning the tables from being a low-level bossed-around worker to having full control over a megastar makes for a hilarious, incredibly fun premise.

What Standout Features Make This a Great Read:
* Grounded, Relatable Characters: Despite the magical premise, both leads feel deeply human. Ji-eon’s raw exhaustion from overworking is completely relatable, and Doyun’s guarded, prickly exterior adds real depth to his character.

* Slow-Burn Tension: The romantic chemistry and underlying tension between the two leads build beautifully throughout this first volume, leaving you eager to jump straight into the next installment.

* Light Fantasy Twist: The magical doll element adds a clever, playful layer without overwhelming the core slice-of-life romance.

If you enjoy romantic comedies filled with humor, unique plot twists, and magnetic character dynamics, this manhwa is an absolute must-read!

I loved how sweet and unserious the story could be while still giving me enough emotional breadcrumbs to keep me invested. I’m especially curious about what’s going on with her mom and where that storyline is headed.

The characters are adorable, the comedy worked for me, and I already want more of this story. Five stars for cute romantic chaos and accidental simping. 🤌🏻

This was so stinkin CUTE!! Doyun being inadvertently controlled by the doll was so fun as he finds himself doing out of character (and out of pocket) things due to Ji-eon’s fumbles. I was giggling away and audibly gasped when I realized I got to the end (I believe my exact words were “WAIT that’s it???”). I desperately wanted to keep going after a certain plot development and might need to track this down on webtoon because I’m super invested! I can’t wait to see what happens next for these adorable disasters!

First off, this was HILARIOUS! There were nonstop comedic moments that had me laughing out loud. The author definitely did not skimp out on the COM part of RomCom.

I am also a fan of the art style. It is distinct with enough details that it was easy to tell all of the different characters apart. I especially enjoyed the art style that the author used to depict the derpy moments. I definitely cackled at their expressions every time. The FMC is also quite relatable and I found myself rooting for her throughout this volume. The MMC seems like your stereotypical celebrity, but I'm sure deep down, there will be more depth to him shown later down the line, which I can't wait to read about. The potential 2nd MMC also seems like an interesting character so far. I look forward to learning more about all of the characters.

The pacing of the story is also well done and the amount of content in this volume seems to be sufficient for a volume. This volume does end on a cliffhanger though, so be warned. Overall, I think that this was a great and promising start to the series and I can't wait to read the next volumes to see how the story will unfold (hopefully with the same amount or more of the comedic moments). I would recommend this series to anyone that likes watching comedic K-dramas and/or magical realism romances.
