This was such a fun mix of spooky, mysterious, and adventurous. I loved the eerie atmosphere that built throughout the story without ever becoming too overwhelming. The mystery kept me guessing, and I found myself wanting to know what was hiding in the woods right alongside the characters.

The pacing moved quickly, making this an easy book to fly through in just a couple of sittings. I especially appreciated how the friendships and bravery at the heart of the story balanced the creepy moments.

Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable read that would be perfect for anyone who enjoys middle-grade mysteries with just the right amount of chills. I can't wait to see what Gabriel Dylan writes next!
