This is a hell of a swing from this team, going straight for the throat on a parasocial erotic horror focusing on a bollywood star and a fan who end up switching skins (literally). The art style also really captures the feeling of dissociation really well. Highly recommended in November.

In Your Skin is a body horror graphic novel about a Bollywood actress and fan, with apt comparisons to The Substance, Black Swan, and Cronenberg.
The format seems to be each complete issue, complete with front and back covers, a couple advertisements, and bonus features! I loved the bonus content, which includes an essay from the creator and some in-universe content.
The art is excellent. I love dance and the dance and body horror sequences in this are vivid and just gorgeous. Unfortunately, the story is kind of confusing. I do still recommend this if you're okay with *vibes* and things not being fully explained. But if you need things to be very clear, this is probably not for you.

Great read!!! I was curious of what they are. The story was unique but i feel like the ending was a bit rushed. I wish there a lil bit more explanation of what they are. The story paced was a bit slow in the beginning but it makes you wanna keep reading to know what the mystery is. Great read!

Wow this was something, and I mean that in a good way.
Its gore-y and had a crazy ending. The plot was a little hard to comprehend at times I fear and that's why it wasn't a 5 star for me
But I loved the story telling and the almost surrealist art style, Plus I thought including like discord DMS and Reddit post was a really interesting look into the modern way we talk about celebrities.
I thought the twist at the end was gorgeous and the last scene might have been my favorite.

Super fun read! The artwork is fantastic and really gives the book its own distinctive feel. The story is intriguing from the start, with just the right amount of weirdness and mystery to keep me wanting to see where it goes. Definitely an entertaining and visually striking read.
