This was a very cute book. I read it to my son and he loved seeing all the pictures of the zoo animals, naming them ans telling me the sounds they make. This book teaches you about different animals at the zoo and facts about them, it also tells you about who works at the zoo and how to behave at the zoo. This book would be perfect for any kid who loves the Zoo, is going to the zoo soon, or for classrooms especially if they take a field trip to the zoo.
Very informative and fun deep dive into some common zoo animals! The 'learn more' sections that reference other books and shows featuring the animals is a brilliant addition. I love the idea of a child reading about their favorite critter in this book and having other new/familiar sources to connect to their new knowledge. The conversations between animal characters and our pigeon guide is also a cute touch.
Book Review: A Wildly Fun Animal Fact Book!
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I absolutely loved The Zooest Zoo: Animal Stars! Right away, the cheerful, eye-catching cover drew me in, and the inside of the book was just as bright and inviting. The illustrations are adorable—colorful, lively, and full of personality—which makes every page fun to explore.
This book shares 184 fascinating facts about some of the zoo’s most popular animal celebrities, including squirrels, meerkats, capybaras, tapirs, lemurs, sloths, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and lions. The facts answer wonderfully quirky questions, such as which animal drinks pink milk, who walks on tiptoe, who lives upside down, and which creature can see with its paws. There are also fun details about zoo life and insights from the people who work behind the scenes.
I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained. Each animal gets plenty of interesting information, but the pages never feel crowded or overloaded with text. The short, easy-to-follow sections are perfect for curious kids—and honestly, I learned quite a few surprising things myself!
This would be a fantastic addition to home library. It would also be a great book to read before or after a trip to the zoo. With its playful artwork, accessible writing, and wonderfully weird animal facts, The Zooest Zoo: Animal Stars is an entertaining and educational treat for animal lovers of all ages. Highly recommended!

I loved this book! The illustrations were amazing and so different than what you see normally. I loved that some of the animals featured were not the most popular guys at the zoo, it made me have more appreciation for the underdogs! I also really loved the recommendations for things to watch and read about each animal. I also loved the information about the zoos and the workers there. My 3 year old son loved it as well!
