That smartass enigma of a hitman knows Tiernan can't turn down a little competition, no matter how tired he is.
Danil has always been a makeout guy. Sure, sex is great, but there's just something electrifying about the ridiculous act of mashing your face into someone else's. Just his luck that his unbelievably sexy nemesis-with-benefits is all but allergic to kissing. Their time on the run together has been a thrill - Tiernan is lethally adept, holds his own against Danil's nonstop heckling, and is absolutely wild in bed. If only there were about five hundred times more kissing, then this would be the perfect temporary arrangement. He couldn't possibly want any more out of this, right?
Static Bind is a high-heat, emotionally messy, and danger-packed short story from a sprawling action-romance series set in dystopian cyberpunk Boston, starring these two violently unhinged men who would rather be tied up than face their feelings.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little novella! I thought the relationship the characters had was super interesting. They were definitely mean to each other, but also certainly kind to each other too. I love when a couple has little codes for themselves, and this couple certainly had several which was lovely. The world of this book was intriguing, and I would definitely be interested in reading more.

I loved this so much! Was expecting a quick read and I’m absolutely floored by how much is packed into this story. I adore both Tier and Dan and their chemistry immediately leaps off the page. I will absolutely be reading more about these two.

Dark and spicy, this short story still manages to hook the reader into Danil and Tiernan's whirlwind escapades for one action-packed and steamy night of their lives. I found myself deeply interested in their lore and history, how they came to know each other and how their fates ended up being so intertwined. The world they found themselves in was intriguing, as well, and something I also found deeply compelling about the story. I would love to read a full novel about these two characters and any adventures they wind up tackling. Looking forward to reading more of these characters and their world in future stories!
