"One person who is vegetarian spares more than one hundred animals from a nightmarish life and death every year."

I really enjoyed reading this book. It wasn't too long to where you got sick of reading it...in fact, the book was quite short. There are a lot of details in this book that are hard to read (about the abuse and things that animals go through), but I think that it's something everyone needs to know about.

All in all, Vegangelical was a unique read that I found interesting. I'm glad I read it and do recommend it.

A great new look at our relationship and ability to care for animals. The mix of faith into our need to provide a safe world for animals was interesting. I enjoyed reading her thoughts on how we can obtain this.

The first part of the book details the author theological beliefs, which I found helpful so I could see where we felt the same and where we differed. The second part is more about animal suffering and why she went vegan. I think this was great little book to help explain why Veganism isn't something Christians can't be and I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about this issue.
