I’ve had the privilege of knowing Jeremy as a longtime friend and mentor, and his writing here has an almost lyrical quality—perhaps because of his love for poetry. It reads like an invitation to push pause and become more curious about what God is doing in and around you.

Jeremy has always had a gift for holding space for others. Over the years, he has helped me recognize spiritual milestones and movements in my own life that I might otherwise have missed. His words carry even more weight for me because I have watched him live out much of what he writes about through unimaginable grief and challenges.

There is an incredible amount of wisdom in these pages. I found myself taking page after page of notes in my journal. I can see so many of these waypoints in my own life, and there’s a lot still to unpack.

What excites me most about The Way of the Spirit is seeing Jeremy bring this kind of spiritual reflection into new spaces, particularly for people who may be encountering spiritual direction for the first time. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a new way to notice and understand the movement of the Spirit in their life!

This was a great read by Jeremy Sims. It is an encouraging exploration of what it means to recognize and respond to the Holy Spirit in our everyday life. What I really appreciated about the book is the reminder that sometimes the Holy Spirit is working and it may not be some dramatic thing or something very obvious but God is working in all seasons of our lives even when we do not realize it.

Sims does a great job incorporating scripture to back his statements. I really appreciate how the book encourages slowing down, paying attention, and becoming more sensitive to what God may already be doing then searching for the next spiritual experience you notice.

The book overall is more than just about the Holy Spirit, it allows for places while reading to stop, reflect, and examine my own personal relationship with God, Its a meaningful read for anyone wanting to deepen their relationship with God and become more aware of the Spirit's presence daily.

Jeremy Sims’ “The Way of the Spirit” is an exceptional read that challenges the reader to re-think how they interact with the Holy Spirit. His challenge is for all, but especially those that like Jeremy, were raised in the Pentecostal movement.

Sims starts with 2 key concepts and then the majority of the book focuses on 7 ways to interact with the Holy Spirit. He uses a human example of a person that put this way into practice. Each chapter ends with a challenge. A way to dive deeper.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and his teaching style really connects. I highly recommend this book for followers of Jesus.
