Mommy has a surprise for Caillou: a potty for him to use. No more diapers! Caillou’s a big boy now. After several attempts, a few failures and near-misses, Caillou learns to ask for the potty when he needs it.

Toilet training is an important step in child development. Adults are in a hurry, toddlers have lots of time, but it is essential to respect their own internal rhythm. Children must acquire bowel and bladder control of their own free will.

I love this character! I introduced my kids to him as toddlers, and we still watch his show from time to time. This potty time installment is perfect. It's colorful, encouraging, bright, and engaging. Well done!

Caillou is getting older and he is still wearing diapers. He wants to wear underpants but he needs to learn to use the potty. Mommy surprises Caillou with a potty for him to use. Caillou’s a big boy now. He still has a few accidents, but after a while, he learns to use the potty, flush after he dumps it and to ask to use the potty when he needs it. I thought it was cute when he did not want to flush his poop down the toilet, that is exactly what my son did as well.

We are getting ready to toilet/potty train our grandson and this book will come in handy to help him. He loves to read so reading him this while he sits on his potty might just do the trick. A great little book to help with this step of development.
