Wow!
There are a lot of marriage books out there that offer hope for marriages that are going through rough times and marriages on the brink of divorce, but 30 Days of Hope for Hurting Marriages is relatable and applicable to couples in those situations.
The scriptures in this book seem to be perfectly tailored to the subject they are discussing for the day and the reflections are very helpful. You can tell this book is written by a couple who has really experienced pain in their marriage and have a desire to see other people's marriages healed and redeemed.
Reading this book feels like you are talking to a friend who desires to see a reconciliation in your marriage. And that friend tells you know that it is going to take God to do it. I believe a marriage can be saved from the worst of situations and this book proves it. If you know a couple who is struggling in thier marriage please get them a copy of this book.

I was thinking this book was a little more like a devotional setting where the spouses read it together, but it was not what I expected it to be. On that note it was still a very good book .

Randy & Melody Hemphill have placed their marriage on stage... for everyone to see their struggles, challenges and flaws. Their hope, their prayer is that by reading what they endured and how God helped them get back on HIS track, you will have an even stronger marriage just like them.
30 Days of Hope for Hurting Marriages is for those couples who are on the verge of divorce and/or having serious, serious problems. The Hemphills have exercises and devotions each day for 30 days. They are designed for individual and joint interaction. Along with personal examples and stories, this is a GREAT tool to help couples find their way back to happiness and address the reason of WHY you got married in the first place! The scriptures are encouraging and are an excellent way of reminding couples of the source in all areas of their lives.
