Description
We are standing at a threshold in human history. Never before has our knowledge been so vast and our self-endangerment so immediate. Both a wake-up call and an invitation, Homo Universus envisions humanity’s leap beyond Homo sapiens toward an integrated state of wisdom, consciousness, and compassion. Drawing from science, philosophy, and lived experience, Matthias Strolz presents a roadmap for inner and outer transformation in an age of disruption. In a time of global fragmentation, political polarisation, climate crisis, and AI upheaval, Homo Universus calls for an evolution of consciousness to match our technological power. Both imaginative and practical, this book will challenge its readers to rethink self-leadership, capitalism, ethics, and collective purpose while asking to take part in the intentional unfolding of humanity’s future. A groundbreaking vision of human evolution, rising into the next sequence of individual and collective being.
Advance Praise
"How do we, as individuals and as a species, wish to live in a world shaped by technological, ecological, and political disruptions? In Homo Universus, Matthias Strolz offers a visionary cartography that provides orientation grounded not only in scientific evidence but also in spiritual intuition and practical wisdom. At the same time, it sketches a constructive vision of human flourishing amid circumstances that may appear perilous. This book is a courageous contribution and an invitation to cultivate a renewed culture of consciousness and responsibility, intended to inspire new ways of thinking and acting."
-Prof. Markus F. Peschl, Professor of Cognitive Science and Innovation, University of Vienna
"Matthias Strolz makes an intriguing attempt to connect the great questions of our time with the perspective of a humanist and the language of a bridge-builder. Homo Universus is a plea for responsibility, solidarity, and the unfolding of human potential — in a world urgently seeking orientation."
-Dr. Heinz Fischer, President of the Republic of Austria 2004-2016
"Homo Universus is a powerful invitation to everyone who feels called to meet this era with courage, creativity, and care for our planet. Matthias Strolz shows how inner growth becomes outer impact; and how - when we show up with open hearts - genuine co-creation and collective intelligence become possible. An inspiring and much-needed contribution to the global impact community."
