Abandoned by her mother, when she was hours old, Anita’s only clue to her history is an emerald pendant tucked into the pocket of the shirt she’d been wrapped in. A captivating blend of fantasy and adventure unfolds when Anita finds herself drawn to the secrets of the forest and into the enchanting world of Dancing Valley, where the mystical and the natural intertwine.

After a seemingly chance encounter with Carolyn, a guardian raised by the fae, Anita discovers a sanctuary filled with plants and animals, but also clans of little people. There she learns she is connected to Carolyn and to the fae in ways she’d never imagined and that her pendant is the key to her destiny. A botanist, as Anita settles into her new life. She cultivates mystical flora from seeds gathered in the Amazon rainforest, and with the help of the little people, nurtures the plants that hold the keys to ancient cures.

Danger, however, lurks in the shadows. Bagrim, a warlock with sinister intentions, seeks to exploit the valley's treasures for nefarious purposes. With his pack of dogmen poised to invade, Carolyn and Anita must rally their allies—both human and fae—to protect their home and the precious plants that hold the only remedies for a devastating fae virus. Although a battle against the powerful warlock will risk the destruction of Dancing Valley, Bagrim’s control of the plants would put the future of the entire supernatural world in jeopardy.
