This inaugural edition of Buzz Books: Romance provides substantial pre-publication excerpts from 20 forthcoming romance titles. At the end of most excerpts, you will find a link to the full galley on NetGalley! Enjoy access to the best romance voices the publishing industry is broadcasting for the upcoming season as you discover new series, catch up with the latest installments from beloved series, and find great standalone titles from top romance authors.
From grande dames such as Mary Balogh, Janet Dailey, and Mary Jo Putney to heavy-hitters Kristan Higgins Jill Shalvis, Lori Wilde, and Maisey Yates to hot contemporary writers like Tawna Fenske, and Abbie Roads, the authors excerpted here are bestselling, award-winning, and irresistible.
This sampler has nearly every subgenre, too—historical romances set in different eras (Julia London’s Wild Wicked Scot; Kristy Cambron’s The Illusionist’s Apprentice, contemporary comedy (Katherine Reay’s A Portrait of Emily Price), westerns (Lindsay McKenna’s Wind River Wrangler), sports romances (Sarina Bowen’s Rookie Move), thrillers and romantic suspense (Tiffany Snow’s Follow Me; Colleen Coble’s Twilight at Blueberry Barrens) and some with a touch of paranormal.
Sarah Wendell, co-founder of Smart Bitches, Trashy Books and an expert in all things romance, offers a useful, even essential roundup of additional, noteworthy summer/fall/winter romance books to have on your radar.
For the best in soon-to-be-published other fiction genres, plus nonfiction, and children’s literature, be sure to read Buzz Books 2016: Fall/Winter or Buzz Books 2016: Young Adult Fall/Winter, available now on NetGalley. This is such a hot selection of relevant multi-sub-genre Romance titles! Collection Development Specialists will be assured that these selections are vetted and relevant to any and every library collection. Great intro by Sarah Wendell, too. Well done, Publishers Lunch!
Another great edition of Buzz Books, this time dedicated to the romance genre! I don't typically read romance, so this sampler was a great way to experience the many different aspects of romance: Historical, Suspense, Fantasy and Paranormal. After a warm and welcoming introduction, there are twenty titles featured. Each entry includes a quick summary, a lengthy excerpt, an author's bio and publication information. Many of the excerpts include a helpful link to the full version on Netgalley! I am really excited about Twilight at Blueberry Barrens by Colleen Coble, Now That It's You by Tawna Fenske, On Second Thought by Kristan Higgins, Sunset in Central Park by Sarah Morgan, and A Portrait of Emily Price by Katherine Reay.
Buzz Books 2016: Romance is a great way to get acquainted with upcoming romance titles that are sure to be hits!
A lot of great books in this Buzz Books! I am super excited for them :)
Once again Buzz Books has a wonderful selection of upcoming books! I love these samplers :)
I absolutely love these books filled with excerpts! I am a huge fan of romance so I was excited to see this book offered. I have found a lot of books that I will be adding to my TBR because of this book.
Great collection of must read books! I love these because I always find an author or two who is new to me and who I start to read and enjoy.
I can always use help fine-tuning my TBR pile & this book is helped! I loved finding favorite authors & knowing great books from them are around the corner; I'm always looking to try new genres and this definitely helped me single out a few I want to try. Great info!
Wow! What a great resource to hear about, and sample, some of the buzz-worthy upcoming books. I really enjoyed, and fully made use of, the read/request full digital galley link at the end of each sampler. Great Resource. Can't wait for the next one! Thanks.
I just love this idea! You get to read exerts from many different books to see if.you will like them. Most of the stories have a request link at the end and I will admit I clicked on many of them. So many good novels coming out! I requested quite a few, wished for one and added some to my TBR pile! The best thing about Book Buzz is that I am exposed to books I normally wouldn't even look at and that expands my comfort zone. I love finding new authors and am usually pleasantly surprised when I request a book from Book Buzz that is outside my normal genre and wind.up loving the book!
I can't remember if I said this about the general fiction catalog, but this is like going to a bake shop and doing a tasting for wedding cakes! You get bits and bobs of all kinds of different romance, and you can be like a kid at Christmas and make a list of all the books you can't wait to read. Maybe Santa will bring you a big stack, or maybe, like me, you'll haunt Netgalley hoping you can get your hands on some for review.
I swear they need to just send these out to romance readers randomly (that's a lot of r's, huh?), and I bet sales would spike. (Now s's!). We readers are a compulsive bunch, and if you dangle something tasty in front of our eyes, we're going to jump and beg you to let us buy!
Okay, just me then? Anyway, my list is ginormous already, and now it's... more ginormous!
I found the "2016 Romance Publishing Preview" to be very good and helpful for ordering romance. Definitely useful! I would consider this book a tool for librarians and not something that I would necessarily purchase for the public. I would absolutely recommend this title to other librarians purchasing for romance.
Buzz Books Romance is a great way to get out of a rut and try subgenres you would normally avoid. I usually read historicals (and there are some great ones in here!) but was also able to find some new contemporary authors to try, bwahaha. Huzzah for finding more catnip!
Loved this. It is everything a reader would want- things to look forward to, how to plan a reading calendar... and just plain fun getting a heads up on the terrific books to come.
I love these collection of excerpts of forthcoming books - both to know what is coming up and also introduction to new authors.
Great collection focusing on Romance novels.
Love that romance is now part of the Buzz Books collection! I found it great to try new authors that I've heard about, sub genres that I'd never tried and get a taste of everything. Fantastic!
I love this book. It provides the reader an opportunity to review what will be available in the future by their favorite authors and genre! Love this!!!
A wonderful collection of excerpts from romance novels! So helpful for finding new authors to feature on my blog and to include in my TBR.
This is a great way to get a taste of books to read in the upcoming season. I found a few favorite authors and clicked the links (when available) to request the galley. So glad Publishers Lunch offered a Romance edition!
So wonderful to see this new Buzz Books edition! I am really looking forward to reading some of these titles and have already added a few features to my editorial calendar.
Great compilation and a fantastic way to discover new authors and explore little known genres. The only one I was missing was the new Sabrina Jeffries that's coming in the fall. Thanks!
Book Buzz 2016 Romance has a very strong list of historical and paranormal romance for the rest of the year. Already looking forward to reading and recommending new titles.
I have read other preview books before, but Buzz Books by “Publishers Lunch” is, by far, the best one I have ever read. It includes many different types of romances such as historical, contemporary, thriller and so on.
In the introduction, the editor reveals that this book contains “some of the most anticipated new titles appearing next season.” This is important to me because I have read other review books that had lots of unknown authors and very few of the popular ones. Although, I always look forward to new authors, I usually impatiently await for the next books by my favorite authors.
The next chapter includes an overview of each included author’s book. It manages to give us a small taste of the characters and plot in each book so we can decide if we may be interested or not. Then, each subsequent chapter after that is devoted to one author and their latest book.
Each chapter begins with a nice summary of one of the included books. This is not just a reprint of the information on the back of the book. This is a longer, more explicit, summary (no spoilers included) which is usually a minimum of one page. This is followed by an extended excerpt from the book (longer than most other excerpts available), and information about the author. Finally, Buzz Books includes the price and the publishing date of the book with a link to enable the reader to preorder the book.
If a reader likes to list the names of favorite new books, and, then, use it to make a list to refer to for the future –as I do - then this is the perfect book for us. And the best part – this book is free!
I, sincerely, hope this group intends to put out a new Buzz Book for every season because I would love to find out more future information about my favorite authors and their new books.
I love the Buzz Books samplers and I am so excited there is a romance one! There are so many great authors included in this, and I can't wait to add some of these books to my TBR list.
The ones I'm most excited for seem to mostly come from the historical list. The first one I preordered was Wild, Wicked Scot and from there I also preordered both once a Soldier and Once a Rebel. The Illusionist's Apprentice is the one I'm most excited for - who can resist Houdini?
'After the Wedding[ by Milan was already on order because, well, Milan, of course, and is mentioned in the introduction of this collection..
'Follow Me' is on hold at the library for when it comes out, as who can resist a good thriller?
As always I love these samplers and they make buying books so much easier - you can check whether you like the writing style or not, and it gets you so hyped up for so many books!
This is such a great idea! I loved getting to read a preview of the upcoming books, and Sarah Wendell's (or whoever did the season overview) preview was very helpful. I will be adding a lot of titles to my shopping wish list!
This is a really great publication for anyone that wants to know what is coming out in romance in the future! There are 20 different books being showcased and you will be surprised at all they have included. I loved that there were new to me authors on here as well as well known and loved authors in every kind of romance I love! There is historical romance, sports romances, thrillers and romantic suspense, westerns, contemporary comedy and paranormal-stand alone novels and continuing series as well.
At the end of each book they feature, there is a link where you can request a copy from Netgalley! There are other books you can find listed in other copies of Buzz Books for fall/winter and Young adult Publications as well, but this one is just for romance!
I really appreciate this publication, and I can see some of my favorite authors of romance listed here! I have to say this is one of the best publications I have ever seen for book to be published in the near future. It looks like a promising future with some awesome romance coming out!
I gave this 5 stars!
Enjoyed so much about this lively, interesting look into current trends in the romantic fiction market. The excerpts were great; so were the author bios and relevant links.
I love this. What a great way to test drive the newest romance books for fall. It's a time saver to be sure. I've found lots of books that I will be adding to my TBR list or requesting arcs for.
I love reading these samplers. Each snippet was of a different genre and by a different Author. Needless to say, I now own several new books on my Kindle after finishing this book!!
It was a delight to be introduced to new Authors. I think these samplers should be published more often. It would give Readers new Authors to pursue. It would also get those Readers who are devoted to certain Authors a chance to step out of their comfort zone and read new ones. Just a suggestion.
I enjoyed this preview of upcoming romance titles - not all were to my taste, but there were more than a few that were - I've got more requests in on NetGalley and a few more on my to-read pile too.
Super Buzz Book on Romance Books and by subgenre. Brilliant. Congrats to all involved.
I usually don't read much romance, but it's great to get these samples and see if I can connect with the characters without having to actually commit to requesting a galley or purchasing the book when it releases. I really enjoyed a couple of them and will be adding them to my reading list.
As usual with Buzz Books, great collection of excerpts, that made my TBR bigger. Thanks for putting this collection together.
I enjoyed and at the same time was infuriated by this book. It gave me just the right amount of each story to get me hooked and now i have an extremely large list of books i want to buy -_-
The choice of stories was brilliant and im hoping next year we get another collection!
I LOVE these Buzz Books because we get an amazing taste of what is coming out in books in the genres we like and love, as well as learning which of our favorite authors will be having NEW books releasing as well! We get to find this information out well ahead of time as to when they are releasing! This is a first! THIS BOOK IS NEW AND SPECIFICALLY FOR THE "ROMANCE" GENRE!
In the description up above it talks about the full titles being available to request from NetGalley, and yes, at the end of most every sample we are lucky enough to read, sometimes there is a link to be able to request the entire book for review! These links for request are for book bloggers/reviewers, librarians and a for other people in the book occupations in which it would benefit the book and the author to get their books read ahead of time and to have some 'buzz' started prior to their release. The people in those positions do get to request the full titles right from the inside of this book, which is AMAZING! I love that ability! Also, these books are another way of knowing what new books are coming out by some of our favorite authors if you don't follow them already, too! Sometimes even when following an author, we may not know always know of what is planned to come out for them, or which books will be coming sooner than later! One thing this book does stress is that these release dates printed in this book are tentative, and can still change. We are reminded of in this book as these dates are targeted release dates. It seems like a LOT of new books are targeted to release in September (after the kids go back to school!), October, and then a LOT of them in January! What a GREAT WAY but to start the NEW YEAR! I'll take it!
In this Romance genre, the publisher has broken it down into sub-genres, which include Historical, Historical Mystery, Suspense, Fantasy and Paranormal Romance, Contemporary Romance, and there are a few Christmas books planned, too! There are even more sub-genres under Romance they talk about in this book, just as many as there are separate genres of these as they stand on their own. It's amazing how many new Romance titles are coming out starting in just a few weeks, pretty much! Now is the time to grab this from Amazon for free! Or you can pick this title up from NetGalley! Yes, these books are ALWAYS FREE! It's a great way for them to advertise the books, and a great way for us to know what is coming out and when! You're going to LOVE these books! Enjoy!
One more quick thing! In the Description of this book, it states the NEXT Buzz Books book will be releasing in January! Watch for it on NetGalley and at Amazon, too! These books are and always have been FREE! They are intentionally free so you'll start some 'buzz' about them!
I received a free copy of this book from the Publisher, PublishersLunch, and NetGalley to read and write a review of my own opinion.
A great free resource for fans of the romance genre. Lots of upcoming historical romance, traditional romance and contemporary. Slightly lacking in LGBT but I'm sure fans of the romance genre will find something here to suit.
This is a great free resource for any romance fan who'd like a preview of some of the best new books being released later this year. It's nice to have so many excerpts gathered in one place, and I appreciate that the sampler includes several new-to-me authors. I'm looking forward to checking many of these books out!
This book is a good sampler of the different books that are coming out, but there was one standout. The Kristan Higgins sample was fantastic. Can't wait to read the actual book. There were a few other definitely good samplers, a nice preview.
This was a great way to introduce us to all the new books that will be available this year. Fantastic !! I love keeping this and re-reading it to see what books I would like to pick up next! So Excited!!
Nice little sneak peek at future publications. Would definitely look at more in the future.
WOW! All great titles in this bundle! I am going to be on a reading spree lol
Really interesting sampler book that introduced me to a few authors I hadn't read before, but that I'd like to read now. There are samples for 20 books in this one publication, most excerpts are from Chapter 1 which is great, but a couple jump in part way through the book which I didn't like as much. There are links at the end of lots of the samplers that lead you back to NetGalley to request the book, you don't get automatically approved, as usual it would depend on the publisher and the country you live in. But really interesting way of getting the 'buzz' of books around, although now I really, really want a couple of them (Kristan Higgins & Jill Shalvis) and of course they're the ones without any links!
Loved the opportunity to read excerpts of romance books being published this summer and fall. Thanks so much!
Great intro to even greater books coming soon! I am so glad I was given a chance to preview this fall's upcoming titles.
Love reading the different sections by different authors ! Loving the book
Buzz Books 2016: Romance, is a fabulous reference guide for bibliophiles. It unveils for the reader, some of the most promising titles, that have yet to be released, in romance. A sampling of twenty novels with excerpts are showcased in this book, in the genres, historical fiction, suspense, fantasy, western, contemporary, and paranormal romance.
Being an avid reader, I love finding new talented authors as well as following my all-time favorite ones. Now, that I have discovered Buzz Books, I’ll be sure to check out what other genre editions PublishersLunch has to offer.
I received this book from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.
5 out of 5 stars~Review by Peg Glover
I posted my review on Amazon, Goodreads, B&N, iBooks, Twitter, FB, Google+ and Write-Escape.com
An indispensable guide for romance bloggers that will save you hours of research to determine your next read. Being a voracious and eclectic romance book reader, I especially loved that the guide touched upon many sub-genres within the romance classification. The NetGalley links to the actual galleys for the excerpted romances also makes this guide extremely user friendly and again a huge time saver. Best of all, I found a few upcoming releases that I wasn't aware of and I definitely don't want to miss!
Great taster of upcoming books. There are some old favourites & some authors new to me. Will keep dipping back in tio find reading for the Autumn
Fantabulous! I don't read that much straight up romance anymore but I was curious about this so requested it on Netgalley. I actually enjoyed most of the excerpts. I recognize a few of the authors. Most I do not but would be willing to give them a try. I do like Jill Shavis and she has one in this. It is nice to preview the titles and think about, buy/request the ones that seem very appealing. Highly recommended!
And thank you to netgalley for giving me a digital copy in exchange for an review.
This is such a good idea. I found a few books I'm looking forward to.
I am glad that there is now a Buzz Books for Romance. Thanks for complying and it gave meg a lot of ideas to look out for in the coming months.
Buzz Books is a convenient way to sample snippets of upcoming promising new books from a specific genre. For the first time, they offered a romance edition; the books are all due to be published late this year. Length varied from a couple of pages to a dozen pages or more. I think two of the books were novellas, two were Christmas-themed, a couple were paranormal romances, a couple were western romances, one or two were historical, so it was a good mix. I requested four Advance Reader Copies and considered at least two more. Not everything was exactly what I would have chosen, but I read two-thirds of the stories completely and skimmed the ones I found less interesting. I admit that I wasn't sure I'd like the Buzz Books format when I first noticed them, but I read one a few months ago and found it to be a great resource. I expect this to be equally useful.
Minor glitch: The selections include links to ARC sites and/or publisher sites following the sample. Most of them were fine, but I clicked one and the book later showed up on my netgalley approved list without me requesting it. This is like clicking on a Check Price button that turns out to be a mislabeled Buy It Now button.
If you read romances by the armful, or a variety of different romance sub-genres, this is an excellent way to sample a lot of books, gain exposure to new authors, and get a feel for a variety of writers. The only downside? It's entirely too easy to start adding to your To Be Read list!
This is an amazing idea, the collection of authors and books are fantastic. It's a sneak peak, a taste of what's to come. I defiatly have added some books to my TBR. There are a lot of books out there and sometimes the blurb doesn't draw you in. With each excerpt you get drawn in. I was actually sad I only had a peak! Can't wait for more.....
Great sample book. Definitely added a few to my NetGalley Reading Shelf.
This is an interesting collection of soon to be published romance books. Each excerpt is followed by the publishing information for that book. There are a wide variety of romance genres included. In particular, I like the I introduction which gives a brief overview of the books included, as well as others in each genre that are soon to published. This was a very helpful book for avid readers, to be able to look ahead to see what books are coming up within the next few months. Several synopses include the book link to NetGalley for requesting. I have seen these books offered before but this is the first time I have requested one. I will request again. Very helpful tool.
These previews are great! Saves time and money for Librarians with small budgets!
Nice little sampler with all good books everyone's bound to find something that interests them I didn't think I would but there's two books I'm really looking forward to! December I'm waiting!
This is an excellent resource for anyone wanting to discover the upcoming romances in several subgenres. The teasers are also good as they allow a taste for the book so that you know somewhat what you will be getting beforehand and can make a more informed decision.
I've always loved the Buzz Books and I am so happy they decided to do a specific one for Romance titles! It is so helpful to read a chapter or two before deciding if that's a title I wish to request or buy to review.
I always enjoy reading these "buzz" books. They provide an excerpt to great novels that might otherwise be overlooked. I usually end up reading most of the books I find on these lists.
This book is free on Amazon and NetGalley. Grab a copy, it’s a terrific way to navigate around most noteworthy books to be released in the next few months. For a serious romance reader, it’s an excellent guide to upcoming books releasing in the next few months. Almost all the sub-genres are represented: Historical, Western, Sports Romance, Contemporary Comedy, Thrillers, and Romantic Suspense. There are enticing excerpts offered as a quick look-see, and I have to say, I’m excited about reading some books from lots of new authors to me, as well as, books from a few of my favorite authors. A great idea, and a wealth of information in one title.
Copy provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I love getting these samplers as they give me a chance to see what I want to read in the next few months. I was thrilled when you created a romance Buzz Books. It's my favorite genre and I discovered new to me authors. Must invent a time-machine so I can have the time to read them all!
If you're looking for a sneak peek into what's coming out in the romance genre, read this book!
My Rating: 5+ stars
There were many interesting books that sound like reads I'd really enjoy. It was great to get just a taste of them.
A nice way to see what new romance books are on the horizon and grab your interest in them for pleasure, review, or both.
Good resource to help find other romance books! Good resource to help find other romance books!
Great selection of romance novels with a wide range of moods and genres, from sweet to erotic, from suspenseful to comic. The variety is perfect for readers wanting to expand outside a genre or try something new.
If you like reading samples of a lot of new books that are coming out, this is a nice buffet. There were several in here that I'll definitely be looking out for when they come out. It's nice to have them all in one place.
Thanks NetGalley and the authors and publishers for this book. Thanks for introducing me to a whole bunch of new books I have to read (like my TBR isn’t big enough already!). Thanks for getting me interested in more than my usual romances. I already had my eye on new novels by my favorites Jill Shalvis, Kristan Higgins, Julia London, Catherine Bybee, Janet Dailey, Sarah Morgan, and Lori Wilde, but now after reading these previews, I have more to look forward to.
This book has opened up possibilities of choosing authors I may not have picked up to read. I was pleased it also contained authors I read ... in particularly Lori Wilde's writings !!! This book has encourage me to expand and add some more authors to my To-Read. List. Enjoyed the buffet of samples in this book ! Looking forward to the next offering of a similar sampling of a variety of authors' books.
thanks again very much.
Very helpful guide! I look forward to reading many of the titles!
Good taste of what is new in the genre of Romance. Helpful to get a preview and an incite into what would be the most enjoyable books to read
This was very eye opening and informative. Nice to get all these options.
A great way to find out about new books from upcoming new authors and favorite ones too!
Enjoyed the little reviews of upcoming books. Very much enjoyed the samples of books, look forward to seeking out the books and authors.
Many of the selections are written by some of my favorite authors and these are the books that I quickly request and/or buy to read!
I love these samplers!!! They are such a nice way to get a feel for the next crop of books. Thank you!!
Love this book. Gives me lots of options to look forward to for the rest of this year, as well as, helps me budget for the books I want most!
This is a great little sampler for readers of romance. The excerpts are long enough to give you a good idea of what the books are about, without giving away too much information. I discovered several that caught my eye, so I really appreciated that!
What a great little book this is! Was great to read about the books and authors and also the excerpts from the books as well. Some of which I may not have picked just because of the title/cover but reading the excerpt reeled my right in!
Thanks so much for this!
I love these samplers. Test tasting books helps steer my gaze towards what I might actually want to look out for, in the coming months, to read.
My only complaint is waiting for these books to come out. This is not JUST a sampler.
Many thanks! I know that now I have discovered a secure guide for discover the best romance books soon on sale and available to be read and reviewed.
Loved all the book ideas I got. It also was a great way to introduce me to new authors I've never read. Highly recommend this book for anyone looking for great romance books.
Fun and sexy collections to make your mouth water for the full books!
This is the first time I've read Buzz books. I'm glad I had the opportunity to get a glimpse of some of the fall/winter 2016 books. I did find it helpful. My to read pile is ever growing. So many books so little time...
Thanks Netgalley for granting me a copy for my honest opinion.
This preview has some great excerpts from upcoming titles. It's useful and really whets your appetite for the rest of the books!
I found this little sampler to be so helpful. It makes picking out a romance book a lot easier. You can see what you like or don't like so that you can find the perfect book to meet your needs!
Samplers like this are an awesome and easy way to dive into the fun genre of romance. With a range of sub-categories and authors, this collection is a welcome way to discover new authors and expand this reader's realm.
Just making sure I haven't missed anything. I do love a good reference book, especially when there are so many books to pick from, a little overwhelming, to say the least! Thanks for this
I absolutely love the Buzz Books titles. I like having a scoop on the titles that people are talking about most. Buzz Books helps me stay on reading trend as a blogger.
Great list of book selections and some really good excerpts in this read.
A must have for all romance novel inthusiasts. Great book recommendations. Every library should own this one.
I loved that they included Romance in their book selections because every now and then you need a little light fun reads and that is what this provided. I discovered some hidden little gems and authors that i would never had read but since reading the snippets I want to read the book. keep these coming
I absolutely love this concept and really enjoyed reading the various excerpts included in this collection. This was my first experience with one of the Buzz Books collections, and I am definitely looking forward to future editions. While not every story is one I would seek out, I found several books that I need to find and read.
This collection shared excerpts from 20 different books with all different types of storylines. Some of the books shared are debuts, others are from long established authors. I added at least 10 of the books featured to my wish list and look forward to reading the full story.
I think my only complaint would be that the excerpts end right as I was getting involved with the story. Which of course, only makes me want to get the book all the more… so it’s done it’s job!
A mix of enjoyable and too dry to want to continue, this is a promising selection of excerpts.
As someone new to this reviewing game, the Buzz Books collection is terribly exciting. What a fantastic way of previewing my next reads on NetGalley! I'm not much of a romance reader, but some of these piqued my interest. I've made a couple of request, but I'm usually outside the regions that publishers want so I'm not holding my breath.
Interesting collection. I have discovered some new authors. It had covered many sub genres which I enjoyed
I love being able to read scenes from books that aren't released yet. The ability to get a glimpse inside something that will be out in the upcoming months is fun and makes getting excited over a book even easier. I enjoyed getting to know new to me authors and their upcoming works!
I'm not usually the biggest romance fan. But these sampler of titles did manage to put a couple on my radar!
First time I've picked up a Buzz Books collection - it was really nice. Now I have to be patient and wait for my choices to come out!
Do you like romance books to read? I often have found it confusing what type of romance! Not to mention author.. I do like romance but my romance books are pretty restricted until I read this! Do you wish you could read parts of the book before buying a romance? This is the book for you! I don't always know if I will enjoy the way an author writes his/her romance novel. It is also a great way to find new romance authors. I did!
This is a great source for booksellers and librarians, especially those that do ordering, to make informed decisions with their precious dollars.
This is a wonderful collective of great authors, some I have read from before, like Ashenden, Balogh, London, Roads, just to name a few. I really liked the sneak peek into these stories and am very thankful to Netgalley. I have had this book on my TBR for quite some time and just started on it last night and just finished. These authors have given us the summary along with a an excerpt into some awesome books. Some authors that I will be picking up to read their books are Julia London with Wild Wicked Scot, Jill Shalvis with The Trouble with Mistletoe, Tiffany Snow's Follow Me and Lori Wilde A Weding for Christmas. I was captivated by these stores and will be adding them to my ever growing TBR, Lol.
